Great food! Went there first when I got to Amarillo for healthy food after a long road trip! Very helpful for someone with food allergies!

So far I've had the Cobb wrap and the Alt Amarillo breakfast bowl. Both were great! Good sized portions and tasty!

And I thought I made good steak at home....go to Costco grab a USDA Prime Rib Eye...cast iron pan…read moregrill it...and remember the Bearnaise Sauce... Aside from the Seafood Fondeaux being a little on the saltier side...Saltgrass Steakhouse is probably the #1 Steakhouse here in Amarillo Texas (just my opinion)...if I had to leave one two word adjective to describe my entire experience today at this Steak House...."Michelin Worthy." Obviously not at Joel Robuchon level, but they sure execute everything like Brick & Mortar Steakhouse would be expected on Rodeo Drive. Perfect Medium Rare, Great baked sweet potatoes with that foam melt butter, garlic butter and grilled shrimp were cherries on top of the pie as a Steak Add-on, phenomenal balsamic vinegarette fused Blue Cheese crumbs Wedge Salad, and the Seafood Fondeaux was as if you married lobster bisque with creme spinach and queso, a superb starter. Premium Service by Isabel, top notch multitasker handling the bar, and multiple fronts. A well put together Southern Cowboy country Interior with very fitting country music. First time at Saltgrass, and what are my last thoughts? Definitely on my recommend list to anyone looking for a casual weekday steak lunch or dinner. Worth the spend! Edit: ***oh...pshhh no wonder, this steakhouse is sister restaurants with Mastros and Morton's~~ It's like the Swatch Group, if Mastros was Breguet, then Morton's would be Omega, and Saltgrass...Longines.

Service was prompt and friendly, never had to wait on anything. The ribeye had a great char flavor and was definitely high quality (tender, very little gristle) + cooked to perfection. The bacon appetizer was also solid, definitely a carnivores dream. Overall great experience and somewhere I would plan on coming back to.

I had the grilled corn and it was very delicious as was the mashed potatoes. The service was outstanding and the food came out pretty quick for it being around lunch time. My only problem is with the butter they gave me for the bread. It was cold, so it was hard to spread on the bread. This isn't the only place that does this. It's be of the things that just seems easy to do. Besides that one little thing the place was great.

He got the coffee rubbed steak which surprisingly did not taste like coffee. As a coffee hater I thought it was pretty good. The twisted potato chips to me was the best thing yeah carbs I know lol . Restaurants really need to get with the times and have something on the menu less carbs other than a just a boring salad . Salads can be awesome with toppings. Do that!! Would I personally come again I wouldn't! Hubs might . I will be looking for a better restaurant next time for sure. To me it suffers from the same thing the Big Texan does it's touristy . You got to back it up . You didn't. Service the waitress wasn't all there oh yeah there was a hair in our cheesecake. I swear they just took the top off and gave it back . We made the best of it but NEVER AGAIN!!

Girasol popped up on Yelp and we headed there. Amazing surprise: we had the eggs Benedict and they're so tasty! Juice, coffee, and tea are refillable. Women-run! Would definitely return if in the area again. Nice!

While we were able to eat quickly, the food was meh and the outdoor eating area smelled like sh*t so we relocated inside. I ordered biscuits and gravy with jalapeño bacon. I LOVED the jalapeño bacon. But neither the biscuits nor the gravy tasted good. The biscuits were more like crackers--hard rather than fluffy. And biscuits (plural) is a bit misleading because it's one biscuit sliced in half and soaked in gravy. Chick-Fil-A makes tastier biscuits. But we visited this place on a Sunday and, unfortunately, Chick-Fil-A was closed. It comes with eggs, but I didn't eat the eggs because they looked like the powdered variety instead of real, whole eggs. My husband wanted a croissant but was told it would take 30 minutes to bake. Maybe we're impatient, but that seemed unreasonable for a "bakery" that had been open for a few hours at that point. So he settled for the smothered burrito. He didn't like that concotion either. The passionfruit teas we ordered were small but good, but not good enough for a return visit. $35 wasted.
