Very hurtful ( I came from a retail management background and I have costumers that are annoying) but it was my first time in.. and I went out of my way to come here so that experience was very hurtful and sad. Store was clean prices are okay ... not competitive ( I feel) but eh. Hopefully everyone else has a better experience... im not trying to discourage anyone but note to workers.. please just choose kindness to all patrons

Everything in the store is in a sealed flap casing and has a sticker on it which doesn't allow you to look at the album. They are grading the album but not the sleeve which seems odd and they are using trading like VG++??? All CDs are priced at 4.99 or 5 for $20 except the ones that are "more rare." The prices seem to be quite a bit higher than most other shops I have been to (and that's a lot) plus Discogs. To be honest I am not sure where they are getting their listing price and I probably won't be back.

I ended up buying an old cd that most stores wouldn't have any idea what it was. Next trip I'll bring in some of my used media. I don't live super close, but I try to check on it when I'm around. Someone mentioned several copies of the same record in different parts of the store and different prices. I have noticed that, too, but that is common of many record stores. The new copies will be the same price, but used copies will have different prices depending on the condition. I think the problem might be that the New, Used, and genre sections are not labelled clearly enough and there are many different sections. The first time I actually was able to get in, the store was open and music was playing, but there was no one manning the store. If there was someone there, I didn't see them in the 30 minutes or so I was browsing. I ended up leaving empty handed. They do have a decent collection of records, though. Last time, I was able to find something I had been looking for for years. I'll go back. Hopefully it's open when I do.

The shop is tucked away down an alley in the beautiful Bradenton Arts District. Parking was easy despite it being a busy area. I didn't have much time to peruse the store's offerings but I loved the vibe and am looking forward to returning to shop. I didn't have an appointment but was welcomed anyway, I dropped off my records to be assessed and was told I'd hear from the owner. Only a few hours later I got a text from Doug with an offer! I didn't expect to buy anything today but I bought a rare live double cd and dvd from a vendor outside and two cajun cds from some of my favorite artists inside. I spent less than 15 bucks dor all 3! What a wonderful experience I had been looking for a place to sell records and saw this store…read morelisted on google. The website and reviews recommended calling ahead to see if the owner, Patrick, was accepting inventory. I wasn't exactly sure where the store was; so while out, I wanted to drive by and check the store location out. We ended up being there an hour before they opened and saw someone in the store. We were quickly greeted by the owner and he opened the store early for us! It's almost overwhelming the amount of inventory he has available. I didn't bring my stuff to sell, but explained the amount and quality and he suggested to bring it in for him to evaluate. I can't say enough about how sweet Patrick was. So helpful and informative and I quickly caught on to his Irish brogue and we dove into a long conversation about Ireland - where I feel like I should hire him to be my guide next time I visit We ended up buying 2 books and he informed us about a charity type bookstore in St. Pete where we could find books very cheap and gave us coupons for them. While I haven't returned yet to bring my items in (which I don't think will sell given his high standards and quality of his items-while mine are used and abused lol) , I do look forward to going back again. If nothing else, just to interact with Patrick. Both my partner and I found him to be so great! If you read this Patrick, Jason and I will definitely adopt you as family
