The first time I went (dinner) I didn't like ANYTHING I ordered. The gyro meat was as hard as rocks. Not jerky. Rocks. And the grape leaf app wasn't to my liking. Cold and vinegary. The moussaka was served cold on the inside. The server disappeared so we couldn't complain. Overall it was a one star experience. So I went back. (Lunch) The gyro was tender and delicious. The first thing I need to tell y'all is big bottomed people, hit the drive through. These chairs are not make for us fluffy people. Otherwise the dinning area is small but nicely decorated. There are about 10 small tables. We ordered the eggplant appetizer and it was very good. Needed a little salt. Then we ordered a Gyro and Greek Trio. The French fries were my favorite... super crispy. The pastichio was his favorite on the trio plate. The tzatiki was very good but the gyro was 3/5 for me. As of October 2023: This little pop up eatery is so adorable and brings good culture to Shreveport! Everyone must try the regular lamb gyro and PLEASE GET THE EXOTIC TEA! It's delicious but they can't tell you what's in it. They are fast, efficient, and have great prices for the flavor! The fries aren't bad either! This place is one of those hidden gems that anyone who like Greek food should try. I say that but the only thing I have eaten here is the traditional gyro. Don't ussually write negative reviews but this place has burned me for the last time. Food is mediocre at best, and we only go here when we're in a time crunch and don't want fast food. Portions are small, and the platters don't include humus like the other Greek/Lebanese restaurants in the area. The Yerro meat tastes like it's been under a heat lamp all day. While the food is tolerable, the service on the other hand is where this place really takes a nose dive into the dumpster. Trying to get a to go order here is like rolling the dice. Call the place and it's like they don't even know what is on their own menu. They tell you're order will be ready in 10 minutes and then act like they never received your order when you get there to pick it up. You have to wait in the drive thru and can't go into the restaurant to get your food so you waste your time just for them to say "Oh, we don't have an order for that name." And it just smells like a headshop when the drive through window opens it's no wonder they can't take simple orders over the phone. Don't waste your money or time with this place. Go to one of the other places in town like Athena's or Pita de Novo if you can spare a few extra minutes of drive time. read more

I am not a Shreveport native, just here on a trip with a friend, but this place made our trip so much better! The outside looks classically Greek, and it definitely translates to the inside as well. The best tzatziki, pita bread, and potatoes anywhere. The pasta is actually really, really good- I've had all the sauces and have no complaints about any. Gyro sandwiches are hit or miss. Tonight's chicken was a way underseasoned. Gyro salad had amazingly fresh ingredients, and wasn't stingy on feta or olive, which is a huge plus for gyro salad in the area. It was decorated in the "Mad Greek" motif of that famous restaurant in Baker, CA or the one on Rainbow Drive in Las Vegas. (See the photos). When you open the door you expect the typical Greece tourist motif with the posters of the town on the cliff overlooking the Aegean. What you get is a parlor; dark and richly decorated as though a Greek version of those old Las Vegas gourmet room restaurants. Over the service window a TV shows an opera from the Megaro Opera House in Athens. I love it! The food... Oh, the food. We had gyros. They were terrific. I'll tell you something about French fries, though. I have yet to have a gyro that did not come with the best fries I ever tasted. It must be a Franco-Greek thing. They won't bother fixing the drive thru communicator, so the connection is poor and my order has been wrong the last three times. I enjoy the food and flavor, but it's sometimes overcooked. Four stars for this unique Greek restaurant located on a tiny corner of a busy four-lane highway. Parking is limited and you can drive through if you like. The interior is amazing and wonderful. You have entered an elegant restaurant, high ceiling and ornately decorated. Menu is great with all the Greek typicos and the waitress was a hoot. she is listed on the receipt as server 2. They have specials each day. I had stuffed g rape leaves which had meat and rice inside and were covered with thick lemon sauce. Yum. That came with salad or soup, but I wanted both so ordered a Greek salad as an additional side. Great salad and the soup was terrific. Lots of lemon in chicken soup with veggies. I could have eaten a serving bowl of the soup and suffer no embarrassment. It is that good. Wife had the traditional Gyro and that was HUGE. Their blend of meats for the revolving thing in the braizer was mild and tasty. I just could not get over the size of the pita bread for the gyro. That was from yum yum city also. Did not fully agree with server 2 that the fries were to die for, but they were cooked nicely and had a unique salty/sage and some other touch of flavor. This was a nice treat. My friend had the falafel platter- Greek salad, hummus, and an amazing warm feta over Greek eggplant zucchini and red peppers.
