This guy should NOT be a doctor, period. He does not care about his patients and seems to want you to leave asap every time. He's easily frustrated, impatient, rude and sometimes even openly shakes his head at you if you want him to explain something (acts like you're wasting his precious time). Communication is poor from both this doctor and his receptionist. Sometimes the receptionist doesn't know how to answer your questions and just tells you to make an appointment for office visit... Let's talk specifically about my USCIS immigration examination. He is sloppy and careless. We gave him the immunization records and he did not even mark them correctly on the USCIS forms (among some other concerns we had), so we had to make him redo it. How embarrassing is it that the patient has to catch silly mistakes? It was his mistakes, but he acted as if we're just bothering him and had a terrible attitude when he reluctantly came out to talk to us. The receptionist was also rude and even went as far as to tell us we should get a license and do the USCIS exam ourselves. I mean c'mon this doctor cannot even copy and paste immunization records properly, I'd do it myself if I was allowed to. Dr yeh shye-ren, is super professional I've been coming to this doctor for over 10 years. I trust him a lot; he's incredibly respectful and helps me a lot when I'm not feeling well. This is quite a painful review to write, as the way my grandma spent the last days of her life was a nightmare for us. He was my grandma's family doctor for a few years, mostly because it's a convenient location and she had a few old lady neighbors who also went to him. He prescribed medication and tests, but honestly we never saw much improvement for my grandma's ailments (low blood pressure, skin rash etc.) and he wasn't helpful in referring us to other specialists. One day, my grandma threw up and felt weak. We made an appointment and went in the next day. He spent about 5 minutes talking to us, prescribed medication for a cough and said it's nothing to worry about. No exam, no looking into anything. Although I wasn't satisfied, I took my grandma home to rest and started looking into making appointments with other doctors if she didn't improve by morning. The next day comes and my grandma could barely keep her eyes open, completely in a stupor. I called an ambulance and learned at the hospital that the vomiting from the day before was from a heart attack and that the 24 hour wait to come in meant that the clogged artery had caused so much damage to her heart that she would have probably died that morning. We were in and out the hospital for months after that, and this doctor even came to visit since he was notified as her family doctor. She passed away in the hospital, her heart having been too damaged to sustain her and her age and damaged heart making it impossible for surgery. I don't blame my him for her heart attack, but I do consider the lack of care and thoroughness, negligence. This doctor is popular with immigrant grandmas but it's subpar care. read more

I am very pleased with Dr. Yeh and his staff "Jen" from making an appointment to completing my office visit every time. Every time I call the office, everyone is pleasant on the phone and my appointments are made quickly. Last month, I had to make an appointment due to my cough worsening. Our family has been with Dr. Yeh for 25 years, lately, he has been very emotional and unstable. Last week my wife visited his office due to a tumor and requested a CT scan, however we have been waiting for a week for approval and still no word yet. We found out that Dr. Yeh did not put an urgency request for this procedure even though she is in pain. Dr. Yeh does not care about his patients and treats them like animals. We tried to follow up everyday, but the front desk nurse was very rude and mean. She just gives me the network phone number asks me to call by myself, they do not have time to check for me. Very unhelpful and unprofessional. Finally today, we had a chance to talk to Dr. Yeh, The result is Dr. Yeh is very unprofessional by yelling over the phone and saying things like, "if your arm is in pain, why you ask me?" He has a busy office and wait time is usually long (30min or longer) even if you have an appointment. Dr. Yeh has been my doctor in high school but moved away from SG. My parents still see him and he has always been attentive to our needs and concerns. Dr. Shye-Ren Yeh is a family practitioner who is also very knowledgeable in dermatological issues. The nurses here are very helpful and friendly. This practice is very popular and gets crowded because of the good care they receive, I've been coming here since I was a child, and this is the only doctor my family truly trusts. Here's my experience: ~ Very bad customer service, staff not friendly at all ~ Receptionist wasn't friendly at all. I have been coming to see dr yeh for a very long time. Called to make an appointment today and a lady answered the phone and was very rude. When she picked up all she said was "hello". This being a business line, the way to greet a customer on the phone is not with a rude sounding "hello". I even asked if it was dr. Yeh, and the lady said, "I am not" and hung up the phone. I had to call back to make sure I had the right number and clarify that it was dr. Yeh's office. It was, and she told me to call back after 2pm, again with a rude tone. Dr. Yeh is a great dr. If I can put no star, I will prefer NO star. He is NOT a doctor!!! He is my wife's family doctor for 10 years already. My wife complains skin allergy and he recommended her to do a woman check up! And he push my wife to do the pap smear check up right away. The most nasty part is "HE" use his hand touch from my wife's thigh slip all the way down to her private area. First time to Dr. Yeh was 2001 when I need urgent but not emergency treatment to my son who was only 11. I put my son in my car & called doctors from my insurance list & every one gave me booking the following weeks even I said he'd been suffering for over a week while I was not home. Then I tried Dr. Yeh's office. He was on the phone & said he could take him in between others who had appointment. I was so thankful to him. Since then, we went to him whenever we had health issues, I noticed that he was super knowledgable in all medical area. From him, I also started to pay attention to health & learnt how to avoid getting sick. Thanks to Dr. Yeh's advices. I also become a health consultant on the side & we only need health checks for the past 10 years but not getting sick like the past. The only comments I have is their clerks who need to be more friendly. They are here in a different country but not their home & should feel happy. If you feel home sick, they should not be here. Dr. Yeh is absolutely fabulous. I had the worst case of Bronchitis ever encountered. I went to two urgent care doctors who told me I was fine; my lungs were clear and there is no problem. In the meantime I am having all day and night coughing fits. I went to Dr. Yeh and he explained what was happening using a simple analogy and prescribed a simple solution. On June 19 I got a final notice in the mail about my bill... I was shock... cause they never send me the current bill... the 30 days... 60 days. Bill.. just the 90 days.. Bill... so I called the phone #'s they list it if you have any questions call them... I called on June 20 talked to some Chinese lady who works in the front office... very very absolutely RUDE!!!! she has no manner at all!!! I think she got the job there maybe she one of the family members... I asked to for the Billing Dept #'s she said they don't have one.. so who does Billing for them them? the Dr. himself? I think the Dr... and his office trying to get more money from my Insurance by over charging them... After I got done talking with RUDE Chinese lady in the front office... I called my insurance .... and my insurance called the DR.office back..... after that my insurance came back to me saying sorry for the bill... there was a mistake on the paper work... I don't owe anything... ... I think this Dr or his office... just trying to make more money... by trying to over charge people... I would give them 0 star. I second what was shared by other reviewers who had bad experience with this office. They send you a bill more than six months late and threaten to charge you more if you fail to make payment to their office on the billing statement. When you try to speak to the office regarding the bill, the front desk lady is incapable and impolite. She is unable to help you with anything. All she says is that their billing is correct and you owe them money. When asked about the billing date, all she said is that she can give 10 days! What??? Also when the service was rendered they do not explain that the patients will be charged twice for the same visit due to one of the item ordered was not considered part of the annual physical. Moreover, they charge you for just picking up your test result! Why couldn't they call the patient and mail the result? Moreover, the test result is provided after over a month of the test!!! How is that helpful for diagnosis and treatment? Also the clinic environment is very disappointing, small, dirty and old. I don't recommend this clinic to anyone. Even if the doctor is good (which is unknown in my experience), the office is poorly run with awful service. It's causing more trouble and pain than being helpful. It's a waste of your money and time to deal with this office. read more
