What I like about this coffee shop is that I can always find a seat.. Not because it's not popular but because they have a lot of seating options (bar seats, regular tables and outdoor). I've only tried the scones in terms of food but it was pretty good. Drink menu has some nice variation and they have a rotating seasonal menu. Last season they had a cold fashioned which as you probably guessed is their coffee spin on the old fashioned, it was a really good drink. read more

I like their coffee. But I'm not addicted or desperate enough about it to overlook important details. not all of the folks who work here are welcoming. the "hot" drinks are hardly, barely warm, every single time. dirty rug and no feel of enthusiasm or spirit when I walk in the door. expensive for the quality of service. read more

Ambiance: Bright, airy, clean. The new yellowbrick look is super nice and cozy for a work environment. Service: Efficient and personable. Food: I'm not a big coffee person so I won't comment on that (my husband is and says it's pretty good), but their food is delicious especially their bagels and pastries! Overall, great work environment with good food if that's something you're on the lookout for! read more

The best cup of coffee in town. With house-made syrups. High end, locally-sourced products (including milk). You won't see a wall of fake syrup pumps here. And prices have remained fairly reasonable compared to a lot of coffee shops. read more

Loved the airy, modern vibe of their new shop! It's definitely a place you feel like you want to sit down and stay awhile. I got a nitro cold brew and it was the silkiest cold brew I've had in a long time. Super delicious and the barista was kind and welcoming. It's a little on the pricey side compared to other coffee shops here, but worth it if you enjoy the ambiance and great cold brew! read more

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, Sandwiches, bagels, parfait, etc. cute little shop. I Came here on a Saturday with my niece to read. Busy, with people coming in and out. Staff was friendly and made suggestions about the menu. No sugar free options for their drinks, But they do have artificial sweeteners to put in your drinks yourself. Nice coffee shop with a decent variety of food options. I got the goat toast with a side salad which was tasty and filling for only $7. Their chai iced tea is good too. In addition, there's ample seating in the coffee shop and many outlets for people who wish to study or get work done. The only downside is that parking is limited and the spaces in the parking garage are mostly reserved for residents of the apartment. read more

I've been waiting to try their new location and I'm glad I did. It's already popular as it was busy when I came in on a Thursday afternoon. The ambiance is great- comfy furniture, lots of outlets for your laptop, and a chic yet cozy design. The coffee is great as always and they have unique flavors to add to your coffee. Their food menu really delivers with good lunch, breakfast, and snack options to go with your coffee. I will definitely be back! read more

A friend of mine recommended Yellow Brick Coffee and I was able to try it right before they closed for the day. I tried a Honey Lavender iced latte and it was sooo good! I would recommend it to anyone that wants something just slightly sweet with the perfect amount of lavender. The straws were made of agave, which was the first I ever heard of/seen; they're sustainable and great for the environment. Win! I am never downtown so I am always looking for new coffee shops whenever I am. Was looking forward to trying this after seeing the photos and I was so happy I did. The ambiance when you walk in is so calming and the smells are Absolutly delicious. The peeps working were really friendly and I was able to see all their specials right by the register. I saw this coffeehouse on Yelp Tucson's IG and I knew that I had to try it out and I was not disappointed! I didn't want to be "that person" taking too many pictures so I refrained but it was hard. The space is so beautiful and warm and heavenly. All of the design choices are just gorgeous, from the wall paper to the soft pink velvety chairs, to the sleek, modern menu that greets you when you walk in, every detail is so thoughtful and so luxurious. I ordered the lavender honey latte and I was worried it would be too much but it was just right. It wasn't too sweet although it's definitely not a drink for someone who is looking for a strong coffee flavor. It had just the perfect amount of lavender flavor. The person that took my order described to me how they made each component that went into the drink, which I've already forgotten but it was refreshing that she knew the process and shared that with me and the drink was exactly as described. This is such a cute place. First off: the cold brew is delicious. Second off: there's tons of seating! But... it's a busy spot, so getting a seat might be difficult. I sat outside and the furniture is the cheapest thing -- it felt like it was going to break. The Wi-Fi was also bad enough I had to leave, but this could be new-business things. Well, since I am lately visiting relatives and friends whom nudged me into El Tour, and some heat training. I had the place on my radar since visiting and finding great small batch roasters with amazing food and the pours on point. Hence this review. I thoroughly enjoyed this place. This review is going to be short and to the point. I have tried probably 90% of all the coffee places in Tucson, and Yellow Brick is in my Top 3. The atmosphere is clean, contemporary, and inviting. The staff is friendly and maybe more knowledgeable about coffee than any staff in the city. Speaking of coffee... Outstanding. Not only does the staff know how to make flavored versions but they know how to make Coffee coffee drinks. And sometimes that's the hardest to get right. This is a beautiful new spot for Yellow Brick Coffee. The coffee is so well roasted and served with really cool equipment that you don't find anywhere else in Tucson. We loved this place. If we lived here, this would be our go-to coffee and breakfast when we didn't feel like making it ourselves. This sandwich was flavorful without masking anything up. The bread was toasty on the outside and soft in the middle. My husbands espresso was 1. Gorgeous. 2. Delicious! What more could you ask for?! I loved that they had seating options indoors and outdoors. I personally will always take a seat outdoors before I sit inside. Get me out! However, if in the terrible chance I had to sit inside, they well-kept plants that help trick the mind into a more serene experience. The service ran like a well oiled machine. They took orders with kindness and had recommendations for the indecisive customers (like me). I so appreciate when someone has a recommendation, because they are more familiar with their food than I am! I digress. They took care in their food and their coffee, and it shows! Very busy spot to get coffee. It has a hipster vibe I can't quite describe. Coffee was fine. It's meant to be complimentary. If you are a Starbucks fan, don't go here. They serve coffee for people who actually like coffee. I didn't try any pastry items, but it doesn't seem to have many options to begin with. Will try them on the next visit. read more

I would give it a zero star if I could. found hair in both me and my friends food (Tucson toast) they claimed it was just cheese when it was definitely not and just dismissed us without any apology or refund. food was bland, salad you could get from Costco in bulk. coffee was not good do not go here. rude costumer service. read more

I am very disappointed with my experience at Yellow Brick Coffee. First of, my family ordered toast, eggs and a bagel, all which came delayed by a substantial amount of time (30-45 minutes) and when arrived, our food tasted old, stale and bland. Our food was served on all plastic plates and silverware and the service was very disappointing. Given the bougie look and high prices, me and my family expected something much better. While the cafe does have a cozy ambiance, the food and service does not reflect its looks. read more

I love the duality of having a coffee shop/bakery and bar/full dinner -- you can visit any time of day depending on what you're craving. Plus they have a cold fridge, small grocery section, and local artist goodies -- all perfect for getting a desert-themed gift or unique treat for someone. They have so many great alcoholic drink options and said they would be adding mocktails soon. I went with a 'tried but true' dirty gin martini and tried the truffle fries and chips (both gluten free). I'm super excited to come back and try their girl dinner. I also want to thank the servers, chef, and owners for being so kind to my group. We had a coloring night where we brought our coloring books and supplies and they didn't bat an eye and made us feel very welcomed especially with all our questions about their menu!

Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon
