I stopped by this place on my lunch with a coworker and got a dirty chai latte decaf with oatmilk hot. Omg this was probably the best well balance dirty chai I have tasted its not too strong nor it is too sweet its just perfect. The atmosphere was very quiet and welcoming the service was nice and quick. I will definitely return here when I want a nice hot cup of chai tea. read more

Tried this place by chance as the other nearby coffee shops weren't open yet. They're Cafe Americano was mediocre and much to my grandson's dismay, the pastry case was pretty bare. The decaf espresso was also nothing to brag about. There was only a lemon bar in it when we arrived. After taking care of the first customer's order suddenly a brownie appeared in the case. According to my grandsons, the brownie was "mushy on the bottom and the frosting on top was hard as a rock." It's a pretty small stall which is to be expected downtown but sadly, it's meager offerings were not impressive to us. I had this place on my list to try, so I decided to check it out finally! It's a little bit hidden, but a cute little nook. There's not a ton of space, only a few tables and couches, but enough if you're just looking to read a book if you find yourself downtown. I tried the Vietnamese coffee and was not disappointed! It's got a lot of dynamics to the flavor, but isn't overwhelmingly sweet. Would definitely recommend as long as you've got 15 minutes to spare, because the traditional recipe takes about that long to prepare. read more

I just tried this coffee shop today after looking for Vietnamese coffee. I wasn't disappointed, the coffee was full of flavor, it's something that you drink slowly to really enjoy it. It reminded me of the Vietnamese coffee that I had in Japan many years ago, and at the time, that was the best coffee I ever had. The owner was very cool, and I can see he has put his heart and soul into the place. If you have or haven't tried Vietnamese coffee before, I recommend that you give this place a visit. Very rarely do I encounter a cup of coffee that I don't like. I wandered into this café this morning, and was greeted by a look of annoyance from the man behind the counter. He was restocking and seemed bothered that I walked in. After waiting several minutes for him to acknowledge me, I ordered a latte with oat milk. This was the worst latte I've ever had. I could not taste coffee flavor at all. It was oddly sweet and tasted off. Like maybe real milk was used instead of oat milk? It was unpalatable. I would have returned it but the barista was so grumpy that I didn't want another awkward encounter. read more

This coffee shop is newly renovated with a new owner and I must say the coffee here does not disappoint. Decided to try the traditional Vietnamese coffee (ca phe sua da) and my SO got the Americano. I decided to go with the traditional brewing of the Vietnamese coffee and it approximately took about 10 minutes to finish (if you want it to go, the owner can make it for you faster!). It's basically brewed coffee with condensed milk. After its done brewing, you mix the coffee with the condensed milk and pour it over ice. The coffee was so good. Rich in flavor and the condensed milk does not overpower the taste of the coffee and provides the perfect tinge of sweetness! The place is garnering popularity fast! I've noticed that there are already some regulars and finding seating can be tough at certain hours. The bonus is that everyone is nice enough to make room for you. The owner of this place is very sociable and easy to talk to! He seems to genuinely want to know who his customers are and that must be the reason why everyone keeps on coming back! As this is Downtown, parking is tough and that is to be expected. I highly recommend that you check this place out. I know I can't wait to come back and try their other specialty drinks! read more

One of the best traditional Vietnamese Coffee I have had and I drink them a lot. I really enjoyed that they use coffee from Vietnam, Trung Nyugen VS Cafe Du Monde. It had a pleasant chocolatey undertone VS the chicory of Cafe Du Monde. I don't live in Az anymore but will definitely be back when I come to visit. read more

Been to Eleven twice now and had a great experience both times. The Vietnamese coffee is yummy and they nailed the mocha (woohoo! Apparently a rare skill.) Possibly done so well because the owner, Q (which I'm sure he doesn't spell that way :) ), is the one making your drinks for you...no high-school trainees guessing at what things should taste like. Q is the 11th of 11 children, hence the name - great, friendly guy, makes you feel right at home in his newly renovated cafe. Not much seating so probably not a place that too many of us can hang out to work at one time so we'll all have to coordinate. Great location too! Easy walk from the library, city buildings, all kinds of downtown locations and convenient bike parking across the street. Definitely worth a visit. Remember to bring your own container - I don't think they have non-disposable options. read more

Tucson is a great coffee town prizing everything from an average cup of diner coffee to perfectly dripped nitro. Eleven is perfectly placed downtown across from the main library and not far from the courthouse. Their basic drip coffee is quite good and their espresso drinks are very, very good. But the Vietnamese coffee is extraordinary. The owners are friendly and very accommodating and I enjoyed watching cooking shows while enjoying their coffee we also discussed best dim sum options in Tucson. What's not to love. read more

The Vietnamese iced coffee is seriously to die for--take the ten minutes to get the slow version! You can choose how sweet you'd like it to be. I chose "regular," and what I got was just perfect, miles better than any other version of this drink that I've had. The coffee tastes the way really good coffee smells, the way you always want it to taste. It's followed by a touch of sweetness, although you can increase or decrease this. Seating was pretty minimal, if that's a concern, but very comfortable: a couch and two armchairs, a table for two, and room at the bar. When I was there, there were a couple of regulars who were in and out, but no one else hanging out long term.There are nice bathrooms you can access with a key. Absolutely love this cafē. Just began working in the downtown area and was looking for a new coffee shop. My co workers recommended Ikes and I was unsatisfied with my coffee. I decided to venture out and stumbled upon eleven. I was greeted very warmly and decided to try a chai! It was incredible. I often get the cold brew and I have also tried the Vietnamese special. It took a little long but was well worth the wait. The owner is in daily and he's very welcoming. He even chatted with me about fantasy football team. It's always clean, and before the pandemic was a place folks gathered to have a chat before moving on with their day. Never had I ever tried any coffee so rich in flavor until I was recommended to try Eleven Cafe by my Supervisor. She told me it was a "hole in the wall" sorta place, and she was right on. When you walk in, you're welcome by a case of yummy desserts at the counter, and on the left is comfy seating where I have sat many a time to relax during my lunch hour. I usually order a mocha frappe. The owner grinds the coffee beans on the spot, then uses Ghirardelli chocolate to top it off and further tops it with whipped cream that he makes. I've proudly turned a few people onto his shop. The coffee is so rich tasting but not bitter and yet not sweet. He's got the perfect recipe for whatever he makes and is truly talented! Not only are you sure to get the same quality in coffee each time you order, you're also sure to get the same kindness from the owner. He caters very well to his customers.
