Customer service is too rude. They are not clear and then they try to make you feel like a stupid after provided wrong information. I called once and I felt so terrible that I would never try it again. They said they do not have cabs in Tracy because they work in Modesto... so the location is wrong. No recommend it. read more

On time, courteous, inexpensive and GENUINE LICENSED TAXI SERVICE. No worries about driving safety, weird behavior or other bizarre surprises such as I would have with Uber or Lyft. They way underquoted other taxi services, arrived early (at 5:30 in the morning) at our home, picked us up right at baggage claim on our return. Like having personal limo service but cheaper (though no luxury, that's ok!). My daughter calls him "hippie Legolas" and although I don't know if he can see an eagle at 15 miles away certainly an excellent and confidence-inspiring drivers. Thanks Yellow Cab Company! I called for a cab at 11pm. They told me it would be a 45 minute wait. An hour later I called again and they told me it would be another hour! They never thought to call me and let me know! I was freezing and just opted to start walking home. Got home at 1 am. These are the same people who complain about transportation apps "taking their jobs" and then they don't show up when you call them. Never again. read more

Great reliable service. I called and pick up time I was given was within time promised. When I called to be taken back home departure time was within promised time. Taxi was clean and so where the Windows (not dirty at all). Driver (Victor) was pleasant and very easy going. Nice to have a cab driver with a smile who seems to be people friendly and very nice. Will definitely use " Yellow Cab" again. Great to know and very helpful that there is a taxi service out there you can rely on when you need to get from point A to point B in a jiffy!!!! :) Will definitely recommend to others. read more

Awful, awful, awful service and I never write bad reviews. Not only do they surcharge you 30% for leaving SF, the driver does NOT tell you until you reach your destination! Even worse, they charged me a mysterious $30 on top of the ridiculously high bill that, despite 3 calls to their service line, they couldn't explain, remove, or seem to care about. Truly awful customer service. This is why cab company's deserve to go out of business compared to Lyft, Uber, Via, etc. read more

It pains me to type up such a bad review and it pains me even more to give a business one star as I'd like to consider myself a pretty level guy with pretty "standard" expectations when it comes to receiving customer service. With that being said: good god. My driver was friendly. His car was clean and that was fine. I was literally so upset about the dispatcher that I didn't even bother to retain the drivers name..in fact, I created this yelp account because the dispatcher was so horrifically rude! So I was at some music festival in the middle of nowhere. Literally, nowhere. I had no reception and had to walk away from the park where this abysmal festival was happening until I finally got up to two bars. I was at the corner of Arnaudo Blvd and mountain house pkwy. Have you been there ? Didn't think so. I was literally next to a grassy hill and some weird trees that smelled like pencil shavings when ELAINE the dispatcher for this service answered my call . I explained to her that I was in the middle of nowhere but would stand at the corner of said streets until a taxi arrived. Her response ? "Our driver isn't going to drive all the way out there without an address." When I I tried to reiterate my reception problem and my walking around the middle of nowhere she interrupted me and said "once you get that you can call us back." Ohhhhh man. I understand you have protocols and policies. I understand you get paid $10.00 an hour or are related to someone that runs this company ,ELAINE, but that doesn't give you the right to forfeit your humanity and customer service skills. It was on the brink of being night time. I was by myself. And to make matters worse I needed to get home to take my medication !!!! You couldn't make an exception and look up the streets I was standing at on a map to confirm that there was literally no civilization in sight ??? Anyways . I had to walk two miles to find an address for ELAINE and after calling yellow cab seven or eight times due to my lack of reception I was finally able to receive a cab that took me to my car which was 7.8 miles away. My trip was $28.50!! I was so irritated with ELAINE that i didn't bother to talk about the price. I tipped the driver 25% and chose not to speak of my horrendous experience with ELAINE as I assured myself if I felt the same way in 24 hours I could just vent on yelp! Anyway. If you need a cab and are in Tracy or nearby I suggest renting a bike from somewhere because this company dispatches for a couple of other companies in town. If you have to use them be sure to ask for a different dispatcher should ELAINE answer your call. read more

Victor has transported my mother in-law to two doctor appointments which she is also wheel chair bound. He is always patient and polite and attentive to the riders comfort level. He was on time and a very good driver. read more
