The day before our departure, I received an email confirmation and a reminder of our scheduled pickup. On the day of the trip, our driver, Nathan, called 30 minutes before his arrival at our apartment in Dublin. He arrived promptly, assisted with our luggage, and provided a smooth and comfortable ride to the airport. Nathan was courteous throughout the trip and ensured we arrived on time. Several weeks later, the day before our return flight, I received another email confirmation and reminder that Tri-Valley Airport Service would pick us up at SFO. After landing, I received a text notifying us that the driver would arrive shortly--even while our plane was still taxiing. Although we were delayed exiting the terminal due to heavy arrivals, Nathan reassured us via text that he would wait. We met him at the limo pickup curb, where he again helped with our luggage and drove us home safely. We are extremely pleased with his professionalism and service. We had a confirmed reservation to be picked up at Oakland airport at 6:40pm. They were a NO SHOW. Telephone numbers went to voicemail or didn't work at all. No call from them, no call to date. Not that there is any explanation that is ok. If they had an emergency they should have a backup plan for their customers. We were a party of six with bags, not easy to find a shuttle large enough and willing to drive to Tracy. Fortunately we found one. Will never use again and will pass the word.

This was the second time we had used Keith; the first was an early morning trip to SJC. He's reliable, efficient, friendly and cost-competitive with other private car services. When, like us, you need to get to SFO or SJC reliably, and don't want to drive and park long-term, there's no better option I know of than Charity Cab. Ride share apps are hit and miss, and the last thing you want is to have to wait 45 minutes for a ride. And driving an hour, hunting for a space, and lugging a few large suitcases into and out of an airport parking shuttle that makes a dozen stops before your terminal is a drag. And the last thing you want to do after a long international flight is drive an hour to get home late at night. Keith will accept credit cards, but prefers cash if you have it. Others in my party offered up 2 seperate US credit cards and that didn't work either. I asked him to call the head office and he refused. I am not sure if he wanted cash or what was happening. We removed our bags and sorted out other transportation. I called the office later and receptionist was willing to run card manually through phone. But driver had already left by then. He lost $450 that day because of a faulty card reader.
