They we 40 minutes late for there appointment to pick me up to get me to the airport in the morning. and on the on the phone the many times i called to check on there eta. the would say the cab is less then a mile out. when in fact when I finally got in the cab the driver said he was sitting at the airport. not even the curtsy to collaborate there lie. and vary unreliable. needles to say i have plenty of time to write this review being that missed my flight. read more

Pretty slow service and the dispatchers don't care to fix it. Multiple occasions I have waited over an hour to be picked up.

If I could give this company a negative star rating I would. My mother has to be moved in a wheelchair assist vehicle. We had to have her at a new facility where she was moving by 1 pm. I ordered the wheelchair assist cab 6 days ago to pick her up at 11:30 am. After they were fifteen minutes late I called and was told all of these cabs were on a trip and they didn't know when they could get there, they make no guarantees. It is 12:10 now and we are scrambling to get a large enough vehicle and have two therapists help me to lift and bend her into it so we can make the deadline. BEWARE!!! Every time I call Yellow Cab they leave me waiting for over an hour! When I call them back, the dispatcher is always very rude and simply says that they will get someone out when they can. I really wish Pensacola had a real taxi service that cares about customers. Don't even bother calling them unless you have all day to wait!!! read more

I have been using Yellow Cab for awhile and every time I would call 411, Yellow Cab's number was always on the top six. I called, in advance, to get a cab so when I got off of work the cab would pretty much be there. Nope, never happened and when I call the dispatcher, I believe her name is Angie - she always seems agitated when a customer calls and asks questions - she told me she needed to "Update the request for a taxi" when I asked her, in an inquisitive voice, what she meant by "update" she went off on me. I told her to never mind and I would find another cab. I don't have a smart phone, so I have to rely on 411. 411 just kept giving me Yellow Cab's number. I walked over four miles before I got to a restaurant to call another cab company. I called Lucky Cab. Here is their number, if you need it (850) 607-6500. DO NOT CALL YELLOW CAB, OR BLUE ANGEL'S CAB! They are both the same company! Now, that is just one incident. Another incident happened with a cab driver that was taking over 40 minutes, so I called to say my pickup location would be somewhere else - I got bored so I started walking. When I called to change my location, guess who answered the phone? If you guessed Angie, you would be right. She was not happy with my request to change my pickup location. When the driver passed me, I waved him down. He told me, "I normally wouldn't pick up someone who waved me down", so I told him, "Next time I won't flag you down. He wasn't very happy with my response and we sat in awkward silence for the rest of the ride. I needed a cab ride home the next night and it was the same cab driver. I don't know his name, but I know he is disgruntled and is going to work for White Sands taxi cab. When I get into the cab, the driver says, right away, "I hope you have cash because I am not accepting cards tonight", so I asked him if the machine was down and he said "No! F**k this company, they are always taking my money from me every time someone uses a card." He told me that he is charged every time a customer uses a card and his company is ripping him off. I told him all I had was a card and he didn't seem too happy about it. On the ride home, the driver used racial slurs towards African Americans and once again, I chose to sit in awkward silence instead of talking to him. The rental car company called yellow cab for me, 42 minutes later they had not dispatched my cab. I had to rent a car and go the the airport. I missed my flight but luckly I was able to fly out a few hours later. Don't use this company in Pensacola...... read more

I'm a disabled veteran who walks with the use of a cane , today I called for a taxicab around 11:45 am , I needed to go to the pharmacy about a mile away to pick up some medication and a few other things I needed , when I explained to the driver that I needed him to wait for me and this will be a round trip call , that im picking up something that's already and a few other things , he had the audacity to ask me what else was I shopping for ,I said not to much buddy , why you have another call ? ,,,,, he said no but they don't like us to wait for people who have to shop ,,,,,, I responded with , Well what's the difference the meter is still running and I'm gonna pay whatever the bill is , plus I was gonna do the right thing by him with a generous tip , so he still was hemming and hawing so I said just drop me off and do whatever you need to do . So that's exactly what I did , paid the fare did my shopping and called Uber through the app in my phone ,,,, I'll never again use yellow cab , Uber has been more reliable and the drivers more courteous and helpful , especially when you have packages , there's been times in the past when I've had packages and I had to load them in myself and unload them myself and the yellow cab driver didn't move and inch from his seat , probably because he was to busy talking on his Bluetooth headset . Until today I was an employee of yellow cab. In my honest opinion, you should look for another cab company. There are only a handful of drivers in the Pensacola fleet that really care about picking up and getting passengers to their destination in a timely manner. I strongly suggest looking into other available cab companies in the area read more
