TERRIBLE, DISGUSTING, THE WORST CAB COMPANY!!! If only I could give this Zero or negative stars. I have used their services a few times while traveling to and from airports. I have ALWAYS had problems with their credit card machines. And the drivers refuse to acknowledge it. They are never polite and courteous. But today was the limit! First, like always the credit card machine could not read my card. After I tried two credit cards and it still didn't work, he said "this is what all customers use, your card is bad"...yeah sure! like my cards were faulty or something!!! Told him this is the same card I use everywhere else and always works. Then, I paid a 15% tip and he is like "you guys don't know how to tip a driver???"...I was shocked and disgusted. I replied that I had paid a 15% tip to which he started yelling at me about how drivers were hardly paid anything blah blah blah..and finally he yelled at me, "go get your stuff yourself". I jumped out and pulled my luggage out of the trunk. As he drove by, I could see him swearing at me. This is just unacceptable and very very unprofessional. Even if I had paid him a zero tip, which I should have, he had no right to talk like that to a customer. Please stay away from this company, they hire a bunch of jerks as drivers. Called for a cab around 10:47 pm & were told to expect around 20 minute wait received a call around 12:24 pm with an estimated an additional remaining 30 minute wait. We declined and found other transportation. When noted to the individual calling if we should wait 3 times the 30 minute, we could take it however we wanted since it was Halloween night. Very unprofessional and tardy. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone, let alone call them if I were released from Prison & needed a lift. read more

The cs agent named Jose, if that's his real name, claimed a cab would arrive in five minutes, and outward lie. Triple A is a convenient name because they triple charged my credit card when the credit card machine wasn't working, which the drivers and other yelpers say is a really common problem. I disputed two of the three charges and they insist that there was no third payment. I'm looking at my account right now and, yup, there's the charge with no refund from a month ago. So they've had my money all this time and they're arguing with me because... ??? Stay away from Triple A unless you're ok with paying multiple times for one cab ride and/or enjoy spending A LOT of time disputing charges. That cab driver was nice though. I took the cab home from the airport and we spent an extra 10 or so minutes trying to get the credit card machine to work which was frustrating at the end of a long day of travelling. The CC machine was looking like it wasn't working and was saying that the transaction didn't go through. So I don't blame the driver. But wow, if a business triple charges me and then fights me on whether I should get refunded for 2/3 charges, that is an enormous problem. Update: they ended up refunding the two extra charges. Phew! But save yourself the headache and only go with Triple A if you have cash. At the Phoenix Airport, I have just asked the cab coordinator to get me a different cab company if I didn't have cash and this has worked out just fine. read more

I was quoted $37 from phoenix to mesa one way no stops but my driver didn't speak English & said that I needed to give my credit card number over the phone & charged me $50 I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.....I highly suggest a rental car if absolutely necessary read more

I pre-ordered a cab on Saturday night. Over an Hour Before 2AM. The Supervisor was supposed to call me back because it was 2:30am and we were waiting in the parking lot and They could not give us a straight answer on when the cab would show. Well the supervisor that was,"Working On it", never returned my request to call me, and the cab NEVER SHOWED!! What kind of service would you call this? THose cabby guys don't pick up call aheads, they just do what ever the hell they want. The operator said she couldn't get the cabs to answer them. So now you will be seeing my bad reviews, I recommend calling more then one cab on the weekend here in Gilbert, and don't feel sorry when you call over an hour early and maybe one shows up. Called for a handicap guest and was told 10 minutes. After 20, called again and they said the driver is enroute, 10 minutes. 40 minutes after that, I drove the guest myself. Was forced to use Yellow Cab again, since Sky Harbor / City of Phoenix prohibits ride share services (Uber) at Sky Harbor. Same complaints as before although this time I was informed at the end of my ride that a 15% gratuity was required. Give me a break. If you need to anywhere in a timely manner, avoid AAA yellow cab at all costs! I called for a cab to take me to the airport this morning, and was told that it would take 5 to 15 minutes for my cab to arrive. Perfect because i had plenty of time. After 10 minutes I took all of my bags out to the curb, and proceeded to wait for another 30 minutes. Because my 15 minutes cab wait took 40 minutes i ended up missing my flight. I called AA yellow cab asking them for a complimentary ride back home from the airport, and they refused. I was told that they recommend 2 hours for airport pickup, which I was not told when I made the call for pickup. If I had any idea that it could potentially take that long, I would have arranged for other transportation. The agent was also unable to put me in contact with a supervisor. I was told I would get a phone call three days later after a "full investigavtion" had been done. This sounds to me like customer service code for "you'll never hear from us again." There are cab companies in Phoenix that you can rely on. AAA Yellow cab isdefinitely NOT one of them. read more

After calling them 4 times and getting hung up on, I finally got to order a cab...an hour passed, they said another half hour, then another hour passed...i cancel the cab which never showed up. When I finally found another solution and we were on the road, one of their cabbies cut us off and slammed the breaks. We luckily avoided an accident, but the same cab (#488) took off and must have been doing 60 on a 35. Garbage service from a company that hires unsafe drivers. Never again. read more

I've used this company several times before, and they've been ok. Nothing special, some delays waiting for the cab but not enough to complain about. However, that was before today. Called to get picked up at a local Wal-Mart, was told it would be 30 minutes. Called a little after 30 minutes and was told 15 minutes. Called after 20 minutes and was told 17 to 20 minutes. By this time a friend that i had called earlier (correctly assuming I'd never see a Yellow cab this evening) arrived to pick us up. He had driven over from Apache Junction to help us. I called Yellow Cab for the last time and told the agent the cab STILL hadn't arrived so cancel the call. I also told her she could tell the operator of Car 1066 he could keep driving wherever the hell he was going, as it certainly wasn't to where *I* was! Or stay in the pub issuing bogus times. (Yes, i DID say that). Oh, and no apology. To summarize: Initial Call. | Was told 30 minutes At 30 minutes. | Was told 15 minutes At 50 minutes. | Was told 17-20 minutes At 1 hour, 35 minutes. | I told THEM take a hike There are always delays, unseen events, etc. I can accept that IF you're honest with me. We have to drive and park at airport which cost us huge dollar for our vacation. This cab company should be out of business... called for a ride, was told 10-15 mins after arguing with the operator about my location (like I don't know where im at) and after 30 mins the driver calls to let us know that he's still a loooong ways away. This wasn't our first rodeo with them, the time before was just as bad. We will use the little green cabs from here on out when we need one. I called a cab and they said 20 mins, 40 mins passed so I called back and they said they would send another person and it would be about 15 mins another 25 mins passed and no one ever showed up. I called Yellow Cab last night and asked to be picked up at 8:20 am the next day. At 8:20 the next day no one showed up so I called and the Customer Service Representative says that they dispatched a cab at 8:20 am. I asked the Representative why would they do that when I asked to be picked up 8:20 am. The Representative said I should have asked to be picked up at 7:45 am if I actually wanted to be picked up at 8:20 am, that way the cab would have been dispatched at 7:45am and arrive at my house by 8:20 am. Terrible "service" rude agents when you call and they never showed up. Called to schedule a ride for the following morning for a ride to the airport at 5am. First person I talked to seemed rude and wasn't fond about taking a call. Got a confirmation number so thought all was good. Next morning didn't show up on time. Called was told they were on their way and should be there in a few minutes. Sure enough 5:20am rolls around and after numerous attempts to call kept getting someone to answer but then immediately hang up, nobody showed up so I hopped in my car and drove myself to the airport and parked. On the way call to finally get someone who was "upset" with me for using a curse word. So not only do they not show up on time, they don't own up to their mistakes, AND they have extreme sensitive feelings. Can't take a little curse word from an upset "customer" because I was running late for my flight. Worst customer service and still never saw a taxi. Never will call them again. read more

On February 4, 2013 I called for a taxi for 11:30 am on Thursday February 7th. Confirmation # is 19501. I left my phone number as a contact. I was ready to leave to the airport (from 2057 - 1720 East Thunderbird Road, Phoenix) and waited with my dog and her kennel, and my luggage. However NO ONE called, and NO ONE showed up to take me to the airport! I had to ask around in a panic to my neighbors to get a ride to the airport. Thankfully one of my neighbors gave me a ride and I didn't miss my flight. I have sent an email to Yellow Cab, but have not had a response. Very Very poor service!! read more

Every driver I've ever had from yellow cab has been very polite and always on time. I have zero bad things to say about any of the drivers. But when I had to call recently and try to find something that I lost, the man and woman in Lost and Found were so rude to me. They made me feel like an idiot and that is terrible customer service. I called again today just to make sure that what I lost wasn't found after a few days and the woman I asked to transfer me the Lost and Found was again very very rude. If it had Just been that one time I would have chalked it up to them having a bad day. But i spoke to different people on different days and all of them were rude. My family and I were in San Tan Valley needing an early morning ride to the airport. I called the night before and scheduled a 4:45 a.m. pick up. At 4:49 I called and asked what cab # they had sent (another cabbie told us if they can't give you a # then that means they haven't sent one). The operator said it was 5 mins. away. Well I should have known when she didn't give me a #. I called back at 5:03 and a different operator said my request "was still on the board but no one had picked it up yet"!!!!!! Are you kidding me!!! When I told him that I had called the night before, he said that even if I had called a year in advance, the request would only go on the board 20 mins before my scheduled time.!!!! Pick up was great. Returning atrocious. Called for cab at approx. 2:20. Said we have handicap. They said about 45 minutes. Wasn't there after 1 one and half hours. Said never received call. Asked to send one. After 30 min. Was hung up on twice. Called again after another half hour and requested immediate. By this time I had run out of oxygen. I called Yellow Cab to be picked up at the hospital emergency department. I was told it would be 15-25 minutes and that the driver would call me when they arrive. I waited just inside the door and watched out the window. I made sure my cell phone volume was turned up. I never left that spot. After 40 minutes and no cab, I called Yellow Cab back and told them no one came. The dispatcher said the driver came and couldn't find me or reach me on my phone. That is an out right lie! I watched for the cab and my phone never rang. I have no missed calls. I abhor lies and liers. The dispatcher never apologized to me for the situation and matter of factly said it would be another 15-25 minutes wait. I could have hobbled on my broken foot the 2 miles home by that time! A driver showed up about 15 minutes after placing the 2nd call. He called me as he was entering the parking lot. The car was in bad shape, something you would see in a 3rd world country not in the US. I have my own car and don't use a cab service very often, but when I do next time it will NOT be Yellow Cab! This is a shady, poorly run company with horrible customer service. Call another company if you need a cab...there are plenty of other options. read more

Called for a cab for a ride home from the doctors office. Cab shows up and starts to drive in the opposite direction of where I live. I ask him why is driving in the wrong direction. He ignores me. I ask if he is ignoring me and he says with an attitude, "hey, I'm paid to drive, don't worry about it." So I tell him to take me back where I started and I would find another cab home. After turning around and heading in the right direction, but passing where he picked me up, I have to insist he take me back to my pick up point. After waiting half an hour for a second cab, I call to find out where my cab is and am informed that the cab showed up but I canceled it at the door. So I ask for a manager. Turns out the first cab accepted the second broadcast for my pickup request and then immediately canceled it to screw with me. I called the night before, made a reserve and it was suggested, in a terrible spanglish, that I book earlier because of morning rush hour traffic. I did so. The only way I could post this review was to give a rating so, unfortunately, I chose one star because "no star" rating is not an option. I took a cab to a per-flight parking lot to get my car and at my destination I went into my pocket for the cab fare and without my knowledge my single car key fell out of my pocket. I didn't realize I didn't have my key until I got to my car. I immediately called AAA Cab company any told them the scenario and to please ask the driver to return to the parking lot. After many calls to the company the driver called me to say, he "do" have my key and will take it to lost and found at the cab base station the following morning. The next morning I called the cab company to get confirmation the driver left my key. I was told nothing had been turned in. I talked with the supervisor and told her the story and she simply said 'sorry, we deal with this type of situation often" but the drivers are contracted out and the company can not force the drivers to do anything. Also, she is sure the driver will bring my key to my home but at a cost. It would cost at least $100 for the driver to drive to my home from the cab company's address. I contacted the Police Department and gave them my ordeal and asked if I would be wasting their time to ask for their assistance in getting my property back. The officer told me that they would come out however, if the driver decided to not give me my key then it would be best to take the driver to court. The police officer thought it was cheaper to pay the driver to return the key instead of going to court. She obviously never thought of the "principal" of the matter at all. It has been almost a week since this madness and the driver still insist on returning my key to my home, at a cost. It seems AAA Cab company is okay with drivers that are representing their company name steal from customers. That was the last time I will call on AAA /Yellow Cab company, everyone beware. read more

We are en route and I'm scared we are going to miss our flight. This is the second time in Arizona that our cab driver not only has no sense of direction but can't figure out how to use a gps. Had a ride from driver Jamie. Typical old New York cabbie. Was great! He opened the door for me and my date and gave us his personal card. I had bad rides from other yellow drivers before but he was nice. Even have me $5 off for no reason, I will use him next time. It was nice that is was respectful during ride. I felt safe. read more

This company is a joke. I was going out to have some drinks so on the mobile app I requested a cab home 3 hours in advanced. 20 mins past my pick up time and no cab. I call yellow cab and I was told "We don't have any cars in your area. Give us 20 more mins and if nobody shows up, calls us back": shocker nobody showed up. What's the point of having that feature on the app and worst off all...Shame on you for not being reliable. Never again...I'll stick with Uber.
