I'm not usually a cab person because I prefer to drive if I'm able too or to be driven where I want to go but on occasion I will call yellow cab because this old school company is one that I am familiar with. My only problem is the cleanliness of these older cars - the newer one are relatively clean but not always in the shape I'd like to see if I'm paying good money and believe me these tides can get expensive. My last few rides have been awkward at best - the floor of the last cab was dirty and the body was dented not in good shape at all and the other cabs had an off smell and I had to have the window rolled down and I'm thinking will I get bugs on me. Eww The drivers are pretty nice and the music is relaxing but if you want my money having a clean car is number one. After soo many issues with this company I downloaded the Uber App and let me tell you the difference between Uber owned cars and yellow cab is like night and day. Uber is comparable in price but the cars are consistently clean the music is relaxing and the drivers are nice too and that makes for a nice comfy ride to my destination. Get it together yellow cab get rid of al those outdated disgusting cabs clean them all up now ! or you will lose !!! there is way too much competition now to be playing around. Zero stars if possible! 2 days ago 5 of us needed a ride and they said they had no drivers in the area. You cannot be serious. Well they were because it took forever to get to us. Another time my husband gave the cab driver 2 $ 20 bills = $40 for a $22 fee. The driver said he had no change. I have a feeling he was fibbing. They can't park and can't drive and when you ask them to park properly they act like they don't speak English!! Cab 314 on 11/9/14, parked taking almost 3 spaces when I asked him to park correctly so others could park he told me "shut up!" Then he acted like he couldn't speak anymore English!!! Seriously!!! Worst taxi service in LA!! I used to Use these guys often. However, lately it seems they have dropped the ball. Last 2 times it took 45 min or longer for them to arrive. One of the times I waited 35 min, called back and the dispatcher said they hadn't found one that was available near my location yet. So I walked literally a block to the nearest gas station (cause that is where the cabs like to hang out) and I saw 3 of this companies taxis just sitting there. I asked if they could take me where I was going. He said no problem. So why didn't the dispatcher dispatch one of these cabs to drive around the block and pick me up?!?!?? WTF? read more
