My Tommy maroon pants. My Ralph Lauren cashmere sweater. My pinstripe suit pants. May they all rest in piece. Yellow bear cleaners, you have killed the things I loved most. Sent away into the abyss and never seen again. I spent one glorious day wearing my brand new maroon pants. Do you know how hard it was to make it through the fall with no maroon pants? I almost repeated an outfit. I really almost did. You pushed me to my limit. My low point. My rock bottom. My cashmere sweater was my prized possession. I wore it casually as well as formally. One day it was here. The next day it was gone leaving nothing but a memory. Whisked away by the hands of Satan. I bought the exact same sweater within 48 hours of its disappearance, but the emotional trauma you have caused me will never go away. My pinstripe suit pants. Where do I even begin. Have you ever seen pinstripe suit separates? No you haven't. Because a pinstripe jacket looks horrible without matching pants. I pray for the day when I will be reunited with these pants and be able to wear my beloved suit again. Sadly, I doubt this day will come. Thanks to you. As dry cleaners you are entrusted with the citizens' "good" clothes. Clothes that have been deemed by the designer as too delicate to be thrown into a machine. They lost my fur on my canada goose. They deliver someone else jacket to my house. really poor service.

Worst experience ever. I'm pretty sure they've lost over $600 in draperies. The person who answers the phone keeps telling me it'll be another day. Yesterday, he told me he didn't know where they were at. I went to the store today, obviously upset to retrieve my drapes. He said he didn't know where they were again and that his manager wasn't in. I asked him to call them and he refused. I said I wanted my drapes today and he said he would get them to me, so I asked where they were. I asked him if I needed to call the police to file a complaint, he started yelling at me and told me to leave. Do NOT use this company if you value your items. I just went in to drop off a suit. Stood waiting for a couple minutes listening to what I assume was the owner or manager berating an employee in the back about how they were "ungrateful" that he had given them a job. The manager or owner was swearing and yelling at this employee and never noticed I was there. Not the sort of employer or business I'd support. read more

AWFUL!!! They lost an entire order that included a silk theory top, a cashmere sweater, a brand new suit, and several other items. They were never found, replaced, and I was not compensated for them. Owner is a horrible human being. He treats his customers with such disrespect it's sickening. Actually said "IDGAF" to me. Not to mention that while I was in his store a person who was there to read a meter was berated for soliciting in his store until he shut up long enough to find out they were supposed to be there. They don't keep their hours. They advertise that they open at 9am, yet I've waited outside many times before for 15+ minutes waiting for them to open. Once I even called the night before and said I needed my items right when they opened. They also have false advertising on their windows. They don't offer half of the services they claim to... I'd find a more professional and reliable cleaners for my items. Steer clear of this place. read more

Been a customer for half a year. Service has been excellent, staff very professional and helpful. Quality of cleaning is comparable to other cleaners I've used. What differentiates Yellow Bear from them is the ease of bringing in my clothes. Additionally, an accounting of each piece of clothing is noted on receipt, by color and designer. Can I not give Zero stars??? Four months ago I dropped off a pair of pants at Yellow Bear cleaners on Walnut to get a zipper repaired. Fast forward over 6 weeks and MULTIPLE calls on my end, a lot of runaround and headache, I finally get my pants back. Put said pants away, as they are for winter wear and forget about them. Take pants back out 3 weeks ago and realize the zipper was never in fact fixed. There was a giant hole where the seam met the zipper, and had they paid attention at all to the work they did they would have seen this. So.... on principle I brought them back. They profusely apologized and agreed to fix them and have them back to me in 3 days. I explained my first experience with them and said I can't be calling for updates, I need these back. (note, this was a VERY easy repair - I could have done it myself, but I wanted to prove a point). Did I get the pants back in 3 days? Nope. Did anyone call? Nope. After 5 phone calls and speaking to 3 different people, all telling me very different stories I was promised return phone calls with information from the tailor on multiple occasions that never materialized. Finally called, AGAIN (so angry still about this) and demanded I get my freaking pants back by wednesday (yesterday) and that they need to be delivered directly to my house. Come home from work, pants arrived. HUZZAH!!!. I go to inspect the pants and literally, literally, it was like a child sewed the hole together. The stitching had threads unraveling all over the place, threads wrapping around the zipper (??), just a disgusting job. Which led me to believe they sewed them in haste 5 minutes before dropping them off to just get me off their back. Needless to say, I am not in the business of complaining about service, but COME ON PEOPLE. This was a new level of awfulness if anyone wants to use them well, you've been warned. read more

The 'eco-friendly' label is a total front. If your reasons for choosing this cleaners was based off that title, then please keep in mind what I am about to say. None of the dry cleaning is actually done in house for starters. They print out an enormous amount of paper everyday, and more than half the paper is completely unnecessary and is discarded into the trash. This business does not recycle anything. The clothes come back with a weird smell, and the solvents the mystery dry cleaners use cannot remove hard stains. And they don't open early enough for someone who has to get to work at 8 o'clock. The 'eco-friendly' label is only so they can up charge the prices. I would not recommend this business. read more

Terrible! Stay away from this place. They delivered someone else's items to my door. The price they charged me was twice more than what I had checked with them before as well. When I called and asked about the price they denied everything. They promised to pick the wrong delivery and get my garments the day after but they only came three days after and picked up the wrong delivery without dropping my garment. The explanation was they wanted to repress my garment. I had a bad conversation with the staff and manager and got yelled at when pointed to their misrepresentation and bad work.
