On that initial visit, Cory's sent 4-5 people and they did a good job. They pulled the overgrown weeds, raked up, got the yard tidy & cleaned up. Fast forward to this spring, Cory's sent 2 people, they didn't pull ANYTHING, just sprayed weed killer - even on the emerging daffodil & tiger lillies which are now dead. So they're left with a yard of dried, dying weeds and debris for the same rate as their prior visit. So, they put their best foot forward initially then barely phoned it in for the follow up. Of course, my tenants aren't willing to continue with them but are still left with a messy yard they paid to have weeded and cleaned.

I have went through a 1/2 dozen lawn services over the years until I found Edwin by accident. I told him exactly how I wanted my grass cut, how hight, and how I wanted the edges trimmed and to my surprise he and his assistant did a great job! That was 5 years ago! During this time he has helped me with a number of small yard projects such as moving rock, dirt, digging a hole for a pond I put in as well as sprinkles and irrigation repairs. Every Fall and and his assistant show up to get rid of all the leaves because we have several large trees in the backyard. I like the fact that he has a small business, so when I need something I can either call him or text him and he is able to get back to me right away.

They told me, "Don't worry, soon the grass will grow right over the rocks - no big deal. Give it a year or two. That was 3 years ago, and my yard is disgusting. I can't mow it as the wheels of the lawnmower drop down into the depressions where there are large rocks all around them. As you walk in the grass, there are pits and rocks that you can feel under your feet. Half of the sod has now died, even tho I spent hundreds every month over the summers on water and fertilizer. It makes me sick to even go into my backyard. I have asked the owner to come look at my yard and talk to me, and no replies - ever. When the rep from Antonucci Lawn and Garden showed up, he asked, "what do you like to do in your backyard?" and then he was quiet and let me talk. After an hour of conversation, I knew this was the right company for the job. The company provides all the necessary drawings, samples, and information my HOA needed to approve the project. Once it got started, the workers were polite, focused, and hard working. I was impressed with the level of detail they took in making sure the ground was well compacted for the pavers they were installing and used a laser level to ensure the entire patio was laid correctly. When it came to installing plants, rock, and drip irrigation, again, they showed their experience. They helped choose appropriate plants that do well in the climate and that helped achieve the look I wanted. At the last minute, I asked to add an additional element to the plan. The Project Manager figured out a way to include it without adding any additional cost! A year later, some of the plants didn't survive the hard winter. Antonucci showed up the day after I called and replaced each one with a similar plant at no charge! Very impressive and great customer service. I am so pleased with the job Antonucci Lawn and Garden did. The compliments I have received on the design and work are endless. This family owned company wants to make sure their customers get the landscaping of their dreams and they definitely succeeded with me! We got an estimate from them, and they were, by far, the most reasonably priced. We talked with Chaz, who understood my concern for the well-being and longevity of my "Mom's tree"...a gift to me from my sons. Chaz, Swayze and the red-haired arborist (I am so sorry, I forgot his name) didn't scoff at me or try to milk my bank account because of my sentimentality. These folks did an AMAZING job of carefully trimming down our apple tree, bringing it "up", cleaning up the suckers, AND, also trimming up some of our silver maple tree, including taking off a broken branch. These folks also cleaned up my entire yard: branches, sticks, twigs, and fallen apples. A FABULOUS crew, sooooo professional and trustworthy!
