Each of them walked away with medals as the entire school did a great job in the tournament (breaking board, forms and sparring). The classes are held at the Julington Creek Plantation Recreation Center. The classroom is a little small but adequate for the classes. My whole family started training at Tersak's within the last year, starting with my 3 (now 4) year…read moreold son, then my 5 (now 6) year old daughter. Yesterday, a close family friend commented that he has noticed a significant growth in confidence, composure and maturity in my 2 kids since he first met them last summer. We train at least 2 days a week. During each class for every age group, there is a character lesson of the week. Lessons like, how to make a SMART goal, how to be gracious receiving Christmas gifts you already have or don't want, trick or treating safety, what to do if someone bullies you, etc. I love that all of these life skills are immediately applicable. I love that training at Tersak's is more than karate and self defense, it is also leadership and character building. A few months after both kids started training, I joined in. My husband followed 2 months later. Now we do the Open Family class together every Saturday morning (along with tons of other families). I also train in Adult class 1-3 times per week. I am building adult friendships for Me. I am honing my body for Me. My kids can see me as an example of consistency, dedication and doing hard things. And, we spend family time together doing something active and without screens. Two of my favorite "extracurricular" karate events at Tersak's were Family Board Breaking Night and the Spring Tournament. I also really enjoy the festive events like Trunk or Treat and Easter Egg Hunt! The people here are good people. I am so thankful the Abitria family told me to check out this dojo. I mean- taking your clothes off for yoga...How could THAT help?... Well, I decided to check it out for myself and I am SO glad that I did. At first I was slightly uncertain since I was the only woman in class, besides the Yogi Luna. Doing nude yoga for the first time...I am sure others might respond the same way. I was 100% down to try it, but I was pleased when another woman arrived just as things were starting. Yay solidarity! I quickly learned that being naked, while important (if you are comfortable enough to do it...nobody is going to pressure you.) is NOT anything that you even have time to focus on. this was a professional and soul freeing experience. Professional in that you are being taught by a professional, Luna. You are so busy concentrating on the proper poses while doing the proper breathing, that you don't have time to focus on the lack of clothing. Luna is sure to watch the class to determine if you need to modify your experience as well as to be "security". I spoke with her after class and she informed me that certain poses produce certain ...natural "results" from some men, but anyone trying to use this class as free "entertainment" will be quickly asked to leave. The soul freeing part of this experience is evident from start to finish. You start fully clothed and do a few basic poses. The" freeing of the layers" is incorporated in a very natural way. Again, you only remove what is best for you. I went all in. What i got out of the class was a different and rhythmic type of stretch and flow. It was lower lit and there was pleasant music that didn't overpower her class. I loved this experience and I WILL be back. I highly suggest that you open your minds to enhance your bodies and try this unique experience. I mean...we were born naked so how can THAT be wrong?

Weve been attending this school for over a year and my kids have changed so much for the better. All the instructors are amazing here and dearly care for all the kids. My children look up to them and only cry when they dont go to class. The instructor was explaining to the parent that there is a dress code, common sense is definietly something that should have been used and if you wanted your child to be involved in the class, you could of not made a childish scene and came back the following day when class started. Don't bash a business you don't even know.
