I called to schedule an appointment, but after speaking with the young man at the front desk, I completely lost any interest in coming here. He sounded annoyed the entire time, like I was interrupting something more important. Then, before we even finished the conversation, he put me on hold because someone came in to pick up their glasses. Apparently helping the person who walked in was more important than finishing a phone call with a potential new patient. This was a very disappointing first impression and terrible customer service. ZERO stars This is one of the only places in town that takes silver summit insurance... but do they really take it if upon announcement of the insurance the whole staff assembles into a wall of NO? They shamed me for not paying cash. They put up hurdles for me based on disability. They made it clear that they did not want my business-- so I left. I'm my 80 year old Aunt's caregiver. We're trying to get her vision to work for her. Her vision has been getting really bad during the last year and its been really bringing her down. After a bunch of tests they do in house, during the exam, the doctor had her put on some special glasses and my god she could actually SEE. We were both in tears! She was so excited and optimistic and I was so ridiculously happy for her! That in itself is worth it to me and worth 5 stars! She is going to need vision therapy there, to help her see in everday situations. But she and I are AMAZED! Thank you so much Dr. Yesnick for giving us real, honest hope!! Website states they have free or low cost eye exams for "financially challenged children and adults". This is a lie. Cash pay appointments are actually more expensive than other eye care facilities. When asked to clarify, they stated that's only for blind persons needing accomodations such as canes. This is stated nowhere on the website. Fully a scam exploiting the nonprofit status. read more

Tried to book two eye exams for my wife and me. I clearly selected self-pay for both appointments, yet was repeatedly grilled for my Social Security number. I stated multiple times that I don't give out that information. Instead of listening, the person insisted I was wrong and spoke to me in a dismissive tone. When I said I didn't appreciate how I was being talked to, I was told I could cancel--so I did. Both appointments. Happily. Plenty of providers respect patient privacy and know what "self-pay" means. Billed me wrong then continued to be so rude about it and denied the mistake several times at first until they realized they were wrong. When I tried addressing the issue kindly to them they continued to not even check and gaslight me. I barely ever leave bad reviews but the attitude after them making a mistake was so unprofessional. Its sad that I have to write this review! We have been client of Yesnick since 2012 Not only myself but my entire family and friends We love Tommy and Jose they are super helpful friendly and that's why we been going to Yesnick For our eye glasses, annual checkup etc... My wife recently ( March of 2025) went for checkups Her eyes were damaged due to Harvey sunlight and behind the computer. Now I understand how the business works like a factory!! First you go for checkups then Dr. Does his routine As what is wrong? And what you need to correct it Basically you go from one room to another then you end up with a person to find you right pair of glasses Yesnick use your insurance fully to cover the exams (which is fine) then this is where they get you on up selling you frame and type of glasses. My wife ends up paying $420 in addition to insurance which I believe it was around $150 This is where it makes me upset, after 15 years Being loyal customers, they charged over $400 Which is 97% to use the glasses while behind the computer. When she came home I was beside myself as how could Yesnick charge my wife This amount!! I tried to call the owner but she passed the buck to someone who doesn't me from Adams A simple call from owner (they both know me very well) the accounted thought I was trying to cheat the insurance company to get back our money!! I mean really For $150 they accused me of changing the charges.... that really got me upsets All I wanted is to explain why so much money For pair of glasses it looks as profit is over 300% We could had simply gone to Costco and then order her glasses through Amazon and save over $250 minimum. Bottom line a simple call from big cheese would have been done but not only Yesnick didn't make a 2 minutes call and on top of that accused me of insurance fraud. Contacts Specialist Jennifer is amazing. I've struggled with my vision and complications for years and have gone to many offices throughout my life with no success. When I came to Yesnick the staff was so helpful and very friendly. Immediately I knew i was in good hands. Jennifer is so proactive and really puts all of her effort into every visit. Update to my review... I worked when they were open they knew that. I asked for the frames to be sent to me they refused then I was told I would receive a refund and that was taken away. This doctor is very condescending just look at his responses I have all the receipts if anybody wants to see them I'll be more than happy to share them. I came here back in spring of 2024 and recently revisited to get my lenses redone and replaced as id scratched them pretty badly. $50 as it was covered with the warranty. Cj assisted me back in the spring and was detailed in what id be getting with what i ordered. Coming back this coming spring to get my new glasses. Would recommend. If I could, I would leave 0 star for the staff. We are here 3 times, all with very unpleasant experiences. The first time I was here for basic annual checkup, the staff were just too busy chatting and forgot to call for verifying my insurance as I am the new patient and had me wait for 45 minutes. After the checkup, the doctor recommended me to get a new pair of glasses, so I waited again until I had to go to work and couldn't wait any longer. The lady who was in charge of the glasses purchase gave me her business card and had me email her for another appointment to come in for glasses. I emailed her three times, no response at all. The second time we were here for our 6 year-old boy's sty, AGAIN, the staff forgot to proceed or forgot whatever thing they need to do and had us hanging for almost one hour. I thus left a review while waiting and told Dr. Yesnick while finally being seen about our experience. Dr. Yesnick personally apologized and didn't charge us the fee in exchange for me to remove the review. Right now, I am here for simple annual checkup. It is definitely my fault for being literally 2 minutes late of their 10 minutes waiting window because I turned in the wrong plaza after I drove 35 minutes for this popular clinic. The staff told me they can't see me without putting in any effort to check with the doctor. I guess this place is too popular to even try to help the patients, BUT it is ok for themselves to mess up and have their patients wait for long time due to their negligence. Man, I thought I was getting great eye exams, till I saw Dr. Yesnick. For the first time, I don't feel like my eyes are working and actually rested and relaxed while wearing my glasses. Tim is very knowledgeable in insurance and helps you pick the perfect frames, I noticed the staff around were also very knowledgeable. They have a wonderful selection of frames for every price point. This is the best eye doctor in Nevada. Dr. Yesnick truly cares about each and every one of his patients. He takes his time with you and is very thorough. He does a great job of explaining what is happening with your eyes and what are the best steps for each patient. Y'all.... A follow up on our journey with Yesnick Vision Services. So small recap, they refused our insurance to which they were in network with and we had to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed from our insurance. This was after a 3 way call with them and my insurance telling them they have no reason not to pay them. They still refused to take it. Had one appt and they again were being vague in billing practices (if we're paying out of pocket we're asking questions) and we then decided to try jacks original doctor in LA. We then reported them to BBB. Side note: not everyone can treat our sons condition and they are the only ones in Vegas that offer the glasses he needs to drive. CHLA couldn't see him for a few months and we decided to bite our tongue and do what's best for our son. They again were refusing our insurance for their occupational therapist whom we are covered for for out of network (I called my insurance to verify and my insurance called them as well), they refused to give us any guidance on what to expect appointment wise but most importantly they refused to schedule Jack until we removed BBB complaint. We resolved the complaint and it still wasn't good enough and they flat out said we could wait a year for our son to be seen until they feel the slate is wiped clean, or he would have to be seen without his father. All his dad is guilty of is reporting them to the BBB. Yesnick Vision Services is atrocious. There are no words for who they are and what they do, never give them your business because they aren't in the business of serving the low vision, from the beginning it's been solely about their ego, their need to be right. read more
