It's impressive how well he knows that store and he takes the lead with his shopping cart. 2. Picking up supplemental items while I'm on the road. That's why I found myself at the Boone Walmart. I was coming back from Squeaky Clean Laundry and needed some moisturizing gel for my dry and scaly scalp. And once I was here, why not look around? 3. Being on a trip away from home and being bored. This Walmart was what you'd expect, except it was not so crowded, with easy parking and checkout. Store staff were very nice as well.

Gookin had a decent selection of used vehicles - a handful of Fusions, a couple G6s, a Malibu, and some other assorted items, and Mark was very patient in walking us through all the features and differences between each vehicle, allowed us to test drive without even a second thought (didn't ride with us, didn't take our drivers licenses, nothing - just...here's the keys, let me know how you like it) and was very helpful in his suggestions - in a non-sleazy car salesman way, pointing out that a new Focus, while smaller in size, was roughly the same price after incentives as some of the used cars we were looking at. I kind of feel bad that we didn't end up buying here, given the amount of time and patience Mark spend with us, but they just didn't have the selection of George White. They were extremely helpful in guiding us towards a final decision though, and for that, I'll say I'm a fan.

Like any terrible relationship, I have the feeling that if I bring up one, small, issue they will utilize that to open a can of worms and take all my money and then I'll leave. ...Wow. That analogy works really well but hits a little hard. ANYWAY. Eastman's has restored my faith in a healthy relationship. Car-wise. I'm working on the other stuff. I have been to this shop a few times because its location is near my work, but I will continue going there because of their honesty, dedication to service, and customer satisfaction. Every time I have been here they have always been AMAZING at being forthright. In one instance, their technicians looked over my vehicle and Larry (the owner) told me that...although they could do the work, to scout around. It may be more cost effective to go to a shop that specializes in what I had going on. (AMAZING. A place that's honest and will take a customer's well-being over a credit card swipe). Another example is when I went there in the morning and asked if they could look at my battery. I could pick up my car later in the d... NOPE. Larry walked out with me. Looked it over. Grabbed a wrench. And fixed my issue within 5 minutes! When I asked the charge he, clearly joking, said, "I dunno...five bucks...?" (I did give him that $5). When my battery acted up again though, he was still there. He ran tests on it. We couldn't find the problem, and he apologize (which - I think it was a fluke...I haven't had an issue since) but he did recharge it for me. He also didn't actively seek to find other areas of improvement. He said there were more tests he could do but said, those take more time and are more expensive. We should see if this was just a one-off (it was) before going through all of that. His shop has probably saved me 100's of dollars. Honesty. Honesty is huge when building a rapport with customers and retention. Of course, quality technicians and work is required and Eastman's has that as well. I don't know much about cars so I can't really speak on technique. I just know this: When I need something fixed.. They fix it. It doesn't mess up again. (or) Eastman's will give me honest answers, recommend other avenues to resolve a problem (and) Charge fairly or just ask for $5.00.

I was on a timeframe to make it to my destination and then catch a flight and needed to get back on the road same day. I called and they were AMAZINGLY helpful. I explained the issue, I was able to order a part from AutoZone which they then picked up on the way, and came directly to me. When they arrived promptly after calling, it only took them an hour to confirm the diagnosis and make the repair. They charged a nearly unbelievably fair 8% of what the other auto shops were quoting. The total was literally less than a simple diagnostic from another shop. They saved me approximately $1200 in savings and got me back on the road same day. The shops are backed up and would've had me wait a day or two causing me accumulate more hotel and food cost and have to reschedule my flight. I can't express how extremely helpful, flexible, and caring they were! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We found Frozen in Time Ice Cream Co. at Pizza Pie Looza in Nevada IA…read more Along with some cheese curds from Double M Concessions we grabbed a small cup of chocolate ice cream from Frozen in Time. The ice cream is obviously homemade and has that unmistakeable light texture that comes along with homemade ice cream. It sure melts pretty quick under the sun on a nice day... The staff at the truck was friendly, service was quick, and the ice cream was good. Can't ask for much better than that.
