This review is in regards to the product/customer support offered by Yeti. I have a good number of Yeti cooler products and haven't needed product support until a few times recently. I was in need of some spare/replacement parts so I emailed product support. The support I received was very poor on every occasion. First, Yeti does not stock small replacement parts for their older products. Second, the support team is not helpful at all - they just said nope, we don't have those now and may never. They offered me a discount code for my troubles, but didn't actually include the code - just the template message text. Yeti has clearly outsourced support overseas and does invest in supporting their products or past customers. read more

Today a month after purchasing a $350.00 Yeti I filled it up with ice and beer and then watched as a river ran down my hardwood! Where is the plug? Did I need to purchase it separately? After getting very angry I composed myself enough to call Yeti and order the plug that should have been there. Should I have checked if it was there before I bought it? Possibly, should the salesperson have checked , definitely!!! Plus I was told I could not go into the Flagship store and get the part I should have walked out of the flagship store with, insult to injury. It's St Patrick day, my Yeti is filled with Guinness and a ghetto piece of duct tape. The part ships out on Monday yay! In other news the store is beautiful, the product is solid. Maybe the employees should strive to be like Nordstrom sales people. Just a thought. read more

This place was kinda cool. They have a store filled with all the Yeti products you would want and they also have a stage right there in the store for a live band to play. On the outside patio they have a bar were you can chill and drink some Cold beer! read more

According to my husband, this is Yeti's flagship store. We saw it from the bus as we arrived to Austin and my husband's eyes lit up. These are the top of the line ice chests that you would have if you had a boat. We visited twice on our visit to Austin. My favorite spots were the beer bar in front and the adventure video viewing area in the back. They also have a display of a custom smoker designed and made by Aaron Franklin. This was the store of my husband's dreams, between the 70 Series Land Cruiser in front, beer at the bar, every ice chest that he could ever want and the custom smoker, he was ready to move to Austin. Well, we hadn't won the lottery yet so I bought my husband the 3/4 lb. bottle opener for his extensive collection. read more

Don't order product at "inconvenient times" as the sales associate told us. If you do order a cup that doesn't come with a lid and Yeti starts offering them with a lid days later at a discount, that's your problem. Nice job on the customer service front Yeti. Given your profit margin, even a 15% discount on lids wouldn't be missed. I can't believe these guys are so tight fisted and care so little about customer good will. Nice looking store. Some canned beer and wines at the bar out front perfect to test out their glasses to prove that it keeps them cold. Nice vibrant colors of most cups and tons of different shapes and sizes. Pretty reasonable prices on cups and beer is $4-5 which is great for a patio drink. TV available if a game is one and perfect location to watch the bats after a pre game. Yeti and yeti bar truly excel as an Austin staple. read more

There was a free customization promotion offered, so I ordered 19 customized tumblers for a total of about $560. The next day after the promotion ended, I inquired if it was too late to add the first names on the existing customized texts. The next day, a representative named Nisha T., emailed me saying that he/she cancelled my original order and that I had to re-order everything and add the first name. I was told that I would get the order free, and that my original payment would "fall off" the card in 3-5 days, and that I would need to pay again. I told him/her that we would need for the money to be returned to my card first before we could order again. The next day, Nisha T emailed me and said that the promotion was over, but I could get a discount on one product. I said that was unacceptable because my order was for 19 products. I told him/her that my order should never have been cancelled and that there was no legitimate reason to do so. I asked for a supervisor or manager to call me, but no one ever contacted me. Nisha T then emailed me again and said that the could give me 30% off of 5 products. Again, I said it was unacceptable because my original order was for 19 items. I waited for a manager or supervisor to contact me, but no one did. So then Nisha T contacted me again and said that he/she was offering me two of the 30% off discounts so I could use it at two separate times, each one good for 5 products. Again, the offer was unacceptable because my original order was for 19 products. I made several attempts to allow Yeti to correct the mistake of cancelling my order, but none of their offers would re-instate my order for 19 items. Needless to say that I was disappointed because my order was cancelled for no legitimate reason, then no appropriate solution occurred, and no manager or supervisor ever contacted me. I was in from out of town and decided to stop in the yeti store after watching the bats. I needed some help with a cooler and I couldn't find anyone at first so I was gonna leave and then I saw some of the staff outside playing corn hole. I went up to one of them and asked for help. I said hey man what's your name, he said Zack. I said hey Zack can I get a lil help with something and his response was I'm playing a game right now can you wait a minute. I said it must be nice to have a job that pays you to play with bean bags. You won the lottery bro. I'll just get my cooler on line where I don't have to wait for your redneck pass time. read more

Great stop to kill some time while waiting for the bats to fly out. My son got a really cool "snipe hunter" yeti t-shirt. He and my husband drooled over the customization options. My daughter and I were both pretty impressed by the restrooms lol. The ladies room has these huge steel doors with locks that make that cool vault like sound when you close them. Nobody is walking in on you in here. If there is ever a zombie apocalypse in Austin you will find me holed up here safe and sound. There's a bar too (Barrr) and very cool how it's indoor/outdoor. Going to try the bar next time we go without the kiddos and report back. read more

Zac was working and as a couple of girls from Arizona he gave us quite a bit information about Austin and the story behind a lot of yeti's artwork. Yeti was an all around experience, you could look through their merchandise or sit outside on the bar on a cooler. I thought personally that really made the experience that much better. Our bartender really was thoughtful friendly and wanted to help us give suggestions for our weekend away. I wouldn't say this is a "must do" in Austin but if you have an hour to spare I would check it out. The one con is parking- street parking that you have to pay on a street that is packed. read more

What a horrible experience. Attempting to order 17 items, they accepted 7, refused to acknowledge the remaining orders and refuse to explain why they are unable to process. BTW, I'm using a limitless corp card so payment is not an issue, neither is a trademark infringement. They are simply hands down the single worst company I have ever worked with, bar none. They say they'll respond, they don't, a supervisor will call you back, they don't, we will email you, they don't. They entire company seems unwilling or unable to provide any level of customer service. read more

Most flagship locations are always interesting and Yeti is no exception. From the huge taxidermy bear inside, to the unique Yeti merchandise available for purchase, to the cool bar out front that allows you to test drive their insulating products, the Yeti flagship store was pretty great. The beers and ciders available were all pretty inviting and local like other beer gardens in the area. The only thing that sucks is most everything came in a can or bottle which they would then stick into their can or bottle insulators (so no being able to try stuff before picking a drink) But damn did those things keep the drinks nice and cool. The other upside, which I had somehow never considered before, is that the insulators protect your fingers from going numb from holding the cold beverage. Forgive me if I was new to that obvious realization, I'm not a big beer cozy guy. If you find yourself on the south side of the congress bridge, check this place out for the unique stuff on sale, the bar and the immensely photogenic bear. read more

There's a bar outside overlooking Congress, nice environment and beer selection. Dogs are welcome on the patio. Come check this place out when you're on Congress. We've always been huge Yeti fans so we had to head to the store on SoCo. They have a great Barrr outside that has a countertop facing South Congress, and cushions on top of Yeti coolers where you can sit on the bar and grab a few snack such as nuts or chips, beer on tap and canned, and wine. The staff has been friendly every time we've been, and the store is stocked with plenty of shirts, cups, and coolers. You can check out while they work in the custom shop, and enjoy a few displays onsite. Love it here! read more

My friend and I stopped here a couple of times during our visit to Austin. The the bartenders were super friendly and gave some good insight on the places to go while we were visiting there. It was a fun place to stop at before seeing the bat bridge. I am appreciative of our bartender's restaurant suggestions so that we stopped at places that had a local feel to it. My wife and I were in the store a couple of weeks back on a Thursday afternoon for the Austin Chapter of the Back-country Hunters & Anglers event. My original vision was that this was mostly a storefront with merchandise only and a small bar. To our surprise it was much more than that! As others have stated it is somewhat of a museum with stories and memorabilia of all sorts of original individuals and influences to Yeti. They have a patio that over looks congress and the Austin American Statesman, full bar top with TV's, a shop to customize your yeti, stage for a band and plenty of gear available for purchase. 3$ Lonestar Tall boys and a courteous staff make this a place I could come back to. I noticed lots of weekly events so this will be place that will continuously have more than just patio and store going on! We purchased beers, gear and got in on the raffle that was going on. read more

Fun atmosphere, with coolers as bar stools, good location near Congress Ave Bridge where you can watch the bats take flight around sundown, great beer prices ($5 for tasty local brews) and wonderful service. John was our bartender and he was knowledgeable about the menu options and he offered great recommendations on things to do and places to go in Austin. Stumbled upon here to browse and do some shopping while on vacation. Only spent a few minutes inside because we got caught up at their awesome bar outside! I doubt that I would ever spend many hundreds of $$ for a prestige cooler and for the life of me I will never understand why otherwise rational people go out of their way to advertise someone else's ice chest company by putting a Yeti bumper sticker on their vehicle. ?????
