My husband called to make an appointment and was told to walk in; the next day he called to ask what time he should come in and they said to come at 5pm. We were shocked because she hung up without making an appointment or even writing down his name or number. I went ahead and called myself to see if there was something available earlier. I called and was told that there was no appointments available because it was too busy. When we came in at 5pm, we were surcharged an extra $4 each person, what for? I'm not really sure to be honest. The massage itself was 7/10 for me! However, my husband was in pain after the massage and felt like it was too much/no movement just pushing down. The next day he was very sore. My massage could have used a little more oil and it felt like it was too dry, rubbing against my skin. The ladies were very nice, but wish it was a little more comfortable. When one person would come in the store the doorbell would ring and the massage lady would leave in the middle of the massage; felt rushed too as they both kept looking at the clock for time to be up. They also consistently talked while the massage 60% of the time so I felt like they were definitely judging. I don't think I'll be back, glad I got to try it though.

My daughter and I decided to do a mother and daughter body massage today at Seven Day Foot Spa…read more There were some good points to the massage but there was plenty of room for improvement. To start, communication was not clear; Times and concerning areas that may have needed a little more TLC we're not discussed. No questions asked or paperwork was filled out inquiring of such. We were directed into a double (room #9) at the end of the hall, which seemed pleasant enough. The music was relaxing but there were no relaxing smells at all. A eucalyptus scent would have been nice, my daughter said there was a candle burning, but I couldn't smell it on my side of the room but I didn't smell it. The bolster had a slight smell to it and I had to ask them to wipe it. The upside is the masseuse did a decent job. Although the type of massage we were getting was not discussed it resembled a combination of a deep tissue with a hot stone ending. They concentrated on a face down, massage with back neck and legs, but never turned us over, that was new to me. But I'm sure if you developed a rapport with Seven Day Foot spa and they got to know your body better communication would be a lot better and you may have the exact massage you need.

Great value, great massage! At first arrival you are enthusiastically welcomed. They are very…read morefriendly and seem to enjoy what they do. The place is rather plane in style, but its clean and that is sufficient. My massages was wonderful. Neck, shoulders, arms, head, legs and feet all included in the reflexology massage. At one point it out me into a quickly passing deep sleep. I also quickly woke up because I wanted to remain conscious of this experience. There were a few annoying things that I could do without and they could improve on (they dumped the buckets of foot bath water into the toilet, which is very close by. The sound of a gulping, slurping toilet doesn't really match the environment you want to create for a place like this. Then there was the pause in the middle of the massage to answer the ringing phone. But I understand in a place like this it is maybe too expensive for them to hire a receptionist). That said, those little negatives were overshadowed by the quality of the massage. This will be a regular stop. (My wife was just as happy as I was)

Though I'd been to her once 2 years before, I was still nervous however once she started massaging I relaxed and though it was painful it was so much better afterwards . She really tried to work the knot out and help because she could see I was in pain. I only wish I could get back there weekly. The place is not fancy but it's neat & clean and she's very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to her in the future.

I had a massage by David and a facial by Monica at Golden Hands while visiting family and friends…read morein NY last week. David's massage was deep and effective (I'm a physical therapist and have a pet peeve about just being rubbed without it causing any actual change). I have been dealing with a cervical disc injury with symptoms down my arm as well as a forearm strain and he was able to work with both, increasing my comfort level while traveling that week significantly. It was also just deeply relaxing and wonderful. Monica quickly diagnosed my skin problem as over-drying (which is counter-intuitive when you're having a break out) due to a different skin care regimen I'd been on lately. She did extractions where I really wanted to see my skin look lighter and cleaner but didn't go crazy with it so my skin was left calm and smooth. The products she uses really helped re-balance my skin and restore that missing moisture.

The massage table in their office is always warm and I leave feeling energized and relaxed (I know it doesn't make sense but you have to try it!) after each visit. I've also visited David when I'm experiencing headaches or other temporary illnesses. He uses pressure points in addition to massage to release tension, open airways, and calm my nerves. I've been to the Massage Envy in Port as well as Red Door Spas etc and never left with the same feeling. I highly recommend Gold Hands in Port!

I was very excited to try this place and wanted to love it. I had a great massage however the…read morereason I gave this place 2 starts are: 1. Secretary was not wearing mask when I walked in. I also had an appointment so there was no reason to not be wearing a mask knowing someone is arriving. 2. I asked for a deep massage over the phone. When I got to the register, I was paying $100 for a 90 min The girl told me I was getting a Christmas discount but $100 is the written price... This escalated obviously. Apparently I got some kind of special massage that cost more and was not advertised on the wall. 3. There was a few weird parts of the conversation which made me feel uncomfortable. They were reluctant to tell me how much the christmas discount was. And I clearly am paying off sheet pricing here so I wanted to know how much it would be if I choose to come again.. I kept asking and they kept asking me back "you massages so you know" and I kept replying with "this is my first time here so I don't know" after the 6th time of going in this circle I told them I budget everything and need to know if the next time this is going to be $140, $150 or $160 and I needed to know because the pricing for that guy were not listed on the wall.. Then they finally told me it was just $15 discount and that I was getting a good deal because him and the co-owner work with "very hot people" and the price is high... what ever the fuck that means... so next time my deep tissue will be $115, not 100 like everyone else pays 4. Other weird thing said in his speech was that you could come to that massage place with a problem with your leg or neck and its better than the hospital... I think I know what he was trying to get at - odd though I go to a thai massage place out of town and it's $65 for 90mins... This place is over priced. They do not dim the lights nor do they have a heated bed or give you hot stones. I paid $100 - regularly $115 (however the pricing on the wall says this is $100) for a deep tissue massage through a blanket with no lotion or oil used at all. It was 90 mins and he only worked my upper body. I would not be as put off of the pricing that I was charged was listed on the wall.
