We hired Vishnu of Yin Yang Studio to cover our daughter's wedding(multi day events) and what followed was a nightmare. Though his communication was always sloppy, he was ok till the wedding day when the full payment was made. Then everything went downhill. After a month from the wedding, he sent an email to us stating that the photos taken by him were lost in an armed robbery at a street in San Francisco while he was transporting them to the office he recently moved into. He refused to talk to us. He claimed over email that there were no security cameras around, no one witnessed the incident, and he filed a police complaint online. The complaint he shared was neatly typed by Vishnu within the first 45 mins of the so-called robbery he claims to have happened, narrating the incident in detail. There was no case# shared with us or follow up details on the incident. So far, he never called us and avoided all our calls. He cuts the call once he knows it is us on the other end. He had a contract with us which states "Yin Yang Studios will return money in case of loss to photos" but he never offered any compensation. Here is what we found about him : 1) Vishnu is not the owner of Yin & Yang Studio which is under someone else's name. Neither Vishnu nor the owner resides in the address the company is registered to. (Vishnu claims he is the owner of Yin Yang Studio on Yelp Intro and makes agreement in the Yin Yang Studio name) 2) He never filed a police complaint of the robbery- we checked with SFO police department based on the form Vishnu shared with us and they confirmed no such complaint filed or incident took place. 3) The SFO office he said he moved into seems to be an office space that can be rented on day-to-day basis. We paid a hefty amount for the wedding photography but were left with no good photos to go on. Vishnu's business seems to be shady, his dealings are dreadful and there is no integrity in him to honor the contract he made. Please be beware of this person. read more

If I were to describe Vishnu's work in a few words, he is super diligent, highly accommodating, patient and brilliant at what he does. He goes above and beyond his job and makes you feel extremely comfortable. He has a knack for attention to detail and really knows how to work the lighting. We had a casual family photo shoot and they turned out to be one of the best captures I have with my folks, that i'll treasure! Hands down the best at what he does - if you are looking for someone who can capture your wonderful memories/ photography needs, Vishnu is your guy. read more

Hands down the most professional and accommodating experience I had with outdoor shoot/photography. Vishnu is amazing to work with, the whole experience was super smooth. Our shoot was scheduled a day before the Valentine's day but had to be rescheduled to next day because of the bad weather. Vishnu went out of the way well before the scheduled time to scope out the place and find great spots to take pictures at. The place as it turns out was completely packed (since it was on a weekend + Valentine's day) but Vishnu gave us headsup in advance and even provided us suggestions on where we could find parking along with quick directions to the location. Even though we were around 30 minutes late but he still gave us extra time to complete the shoot and made sure we got the pictures taken at the best spots. We reached out to Vishnu in 2020 right before lockdown for Wedding photography. He responded promptly via email and also provided a quote that was reasonable but the wedding ceremony was canceled. Then we reached out to him exactly a year later but for much smaller wedding ceremony and he was very responsive. He also provided video service and Youtube live streaming since all our guests were attending it virtually. He called us few weeks in advance to discuss our preferences and also created a mood board on Pinterest. I really appreciate his professionalism through out the whole process. I found Vishnu and Madhuri on instagram. Right from the first call I had with Madhuri to the final pictures that we received within the promised timeframe the process was so smooth and stress free! We booked them for our main wedding but we had to postpone it due to covid and they were so accommodating.
