I truly enjoyed being there and watching my nephews, his cousins and his friends be a part of his big day and enjoy it! Elite Karate has a Birthday party package for all ages! It's for 1.5 hrs and it includes pizza, drinks, utensils.. some fun martial arts class time, cutting boards and cutting the cake with a cool sword! Parents just provide decorations , goodie bags and cake. It's well supervised, waivers are signed as you come in , you are to wear name tags , and comfy clothes. Instructor is amazing with children and very well organized! Kids get to Learn some moves, follow directions, skills and self control. It's just a different idea for a birthday party that all kids will love and enjoy at that age! Perhaps make them want to sign up for karate at some point if they haven't already! The barre classes can be intense, but the instructors always make a point to say listen to your body. If you need to stop, just take a break and go back into it when you can. The yoga classes have been great. I love Alyson's classes, especially the energy medicine class. Very restorative. I have my own mat, but tend to come straight after work and just use their mats. There is a changing room that can be used to change into workout clothes. The staff is engaging, the location is nice with lots of parking (same parking lot as Ken's, but in the back of the building to the right), the pricing for the class cards is reasonable, and the studio is clean and inviting. I have watched my body transform and it continues to get leaner and stronger the longer i stick to a routine. I mainly go to classes by TK and Taylor but all the instructors are highly skilled. TK is extremely upbeat and innovative instructor and truly encourages everyone to just try their best and the results will happen and Taylor reminds me that I always have it in me to make it through until the end of the class. Kristin's (the owner/chief yogini) teacher training (YTT200) incorporates anatomy along the way of the coursework with an optional YTT100 personal development program, only attending the first half. The latter is good for those looking to grow in the understanding of their practice without the commitment to a full six months, or with no inkling to teach. Kristin organizes yoga immersion trips annually. This year Peru and Bhutan. Next year Italy is back on the schedule.
