Excellence," however, I've been waiting for THREE MONTHS for a call back from its OWNER or DISTRICT MANAGER, for overcharges, misreprestation of the programs, failure to provide copy of contract, and rude and disrespectful attitude from its manager, SERENA. She is the gatekeeper. She refused to return calls or forward the concerns to the appropriate individual. Even after I sent a letter to the Sumter location via the Atlanta-based Franchisor, nearly a week ago, I STILL have not been contacted. Serena has refused to properly manage my account and requests for a refund, hold, and cancellation. I'm having to file chargebacks with my bank to recoup the unauthorized funds, which could be considered theft. Apparently Workout Anytime's "VALUES" do not undiscrimiately apply to ALL MEMBERS. If you are considering Workout Anytime, I strongly suggest that you find another gym where you will be respected, valued, and appreciated. I literally saw this woman ONCE, and spoke with her briefly on the phone, ONCE, and see no reason for the disregard. Clearly she was disingenuous when she said "We're all like family here.... We treat everyone like family." Scary! I'm a local business owner. The lack of professionalism and poor business ethics are unacceptable. Don't trust Workout Anytime with AUTOMATIC PAYMENT. They mismagnage accounts, do not respect your requests, and will disappear the moment a concern is brought to their attention. Reply to alleged "Business Owner": Obviously this attitude is standard Workout Anytime. I have yet to be contacted in any form by the real Owner. No need. I asked a if I could get a few sets in and was told, "we are almost done" and 25 minutes later, they are still standing there talking and not one weight was lifted. It was a bit ridiculous. I had been a member earlier and left due to the same reason people just standing around and couldn't get to workout. IF you want to do cardio or tan, this might be the place for you. There is more than adequate cardio machines and tanning beds are rarely used (at least when I did go regularly). I will look and see what is available in town but for me this facility doesn't give me the bang for the buck.

At the clock's 3-2-1 you perform 6 sets of 25 second of work followed by 10 seconds of rest then you have 40? Seconds to switch stations. You do this for ~45:00 and then you're done! From what I understand, some days are more cardio / agility / body weight and some days are more strength focused. The coach also helps you modify any challenging movements to suit your personal abilities and goals! I will definitely be going back for more. The energy of the group was stellar ( I went at 12:15 ). How did they not know the room was in use, they need to program the unit? So, 10 minutes later, after the person has finally left, the unit cooled down, I tell them to start the program after 1 minute. I had also quietly shared with management my observations of rogue personal trainers training their clients in this location. It wasn't just once or twice, it was a frequent occurrence at this location, by repeat offenders. Today took the cake. I decided to try out this location after a month had passed. The place was dirty, dusty. The bathroom was a mess: pieces of toilet paper, paper towel, hair balls, hair ties, and other assorted pieces of trash on the floor. One of the toilets was stuck on flush. I let the front desk person know, and he said he would "have her look at it". I can only assume that he was referring to his female associate. After my workout, I walked into the same, messy/gross ladies room. A temp out of order sign was placed on the stall door. Nothing had been cleaned up or picked up off the floor. Additionally, the same personal trainer, was obviously and blatantly training someone, while staff were in clear view/earshot. I was there for over two hours. The three staff members I saw at the front desk stayed at the front desk, scrolling on their phones and horsing around, when they could've put in the effort to tidy the place up. It's unfortunate because the management and some staff members at this location do work so hard.
