I'm not going to go into the obvious of what kind of establishment is linked to this restaurant…read more All I will say is that it is more for adults, as people who work in the adjacent nightclub come here to eat on their break. I will focus this review strictly on the food and service. I've come here periodically to get some food during my excursions to baja. This place is located in Zona Norte along Coahuila Street. Access can be gained through either Coahuila Street, or through the alleyway between Cohauila St. and First Street. (FYI: Coahuila Street and this alleyway are the only safe part of this region, do NOT go venturing to any other part of Zona Norte). The main restaurant area is a short walk up a flight of stairs from those two streets. Inside, the place is clean, brightly lit, and staffed by attentive waiters and waitresses. There is plenty of seating here, despite it being pretty busy at times. My favorite dish is the filet mignon. This comes with a side of loaded baked potato, veggies, and dinner bread. I usually like to add rice. To drink, my personal favorite is the lemonade sans the sugar, their regular coffee, and sometimes, their iced mocha. The food is pretty good here, very flavorful and prepped with care. The price matches the quality. Paying in cash here is far less of a hassle than paying with card. They require you to let them photo-copy your ID, and for your signature to match meticulously. If you find yourself venturing to this part of Tijuana, and hunger strikes you, then give this place a try.

They have their own designated parking, which is nice, as sometimes parking may be an issue in town. The parking attendant welcomes you and lets you know where to park. You are immediately greeted when you walk in. I typically visit for a late lunch. The restaurant has a cozy feel. The staff are attentive and friendly. The presentation of the food is nice and it tastes good. Some of the dishes that I have tried are: Tarahumara (portobello omelet), Xitomatl (entomatadas), Huichol (chilaquiles con cecina), Mulli (mole Oaxaqueño), Teotihuacán (chilaquiles con chorizo y huevo), and Coyoltzin (puntas de filete). My favorite has been the Coyoltzin because the meat is tender and juicy. I also love that they bring salsas to the table. I like the chiles with oil and vinegar that they make. Overall, a great place to have breakfast or lunch with friends and family.

Of course we had other dishes which I can't even remember them all, just rest assured they were all delicious. The service, in Mexican fashion is impeccable. Definitely a must stop on our visits to Tijuana :) TIP: check their hours before you go so you know exactly what time breakfast ends and dinner starts.
