I ordered a fish & chips which they were way too salty and when they delivered them, I hardly saw the server. It was 12:20 noon time, very slow, I was the only table (there was another table but was already attended too). I love eating here. They have the best barbecue food in Tijuana. Served and a wonderful atmosphere. Very relaxed. Staff are respectful, fast service, my wife and Kids up eating here. It reminds us of Rays BBQ back home in Huntington Park. It takes just the same. Very great. They have a variety of drinks as well. The parking is limited, but free. The place is small, the food just okay and the prices are great. Had the rib plate; corn was over boiled, bread has zero flavor, ribs were tender and fell of bone and the sauce was decent. Onion rings were grease bombs! Fries were not crisp and grease too. Skip the draft beer! First they poured one that was flat and warm. A guy in the kitchen adjusted something and I got a different style with carbonation but still warm. CONCLUSION: I'd try another place first for BBQ in TJ. The worst bbq ribs we've ever had!! We wanted to try a new place and we were craving BBQ so we saw that this place had good reviews. We ordered 2 of their Baby back Pork Ribs with Jack Daniels and it came with fries, corn on the cob and bread, when we opened the foil container it looked like a disaster the fries were mixed with bbq sauce, and soggy, and the sauce was not Jack Daniel's. Horrible presentation. Then we started eating the ribs and the meat was tough and worst of all it was raw!! So disgusting! Take a look at the pictures see for yourself... Excellent please...literally what you can expect from a BBQ joint... super nice..the servers DAMNN super nice very happy place. Let's talk about the food, well the portions as expected HUMONGOUS!! the bread and the corn well I can assure you it's enough for you your family cat and dog..and lunch for the next day. My husband had the full rack of bbq beef ribs for 300 and something pesos..the equivalent to 16 Us dollars given or take..it comes with 2 corn pieces and 2 pieces of bread ohhh and a huge bed if fries...this is for 2 people but I have a big husband so... The kid had chicken strips with bbq sauce and same ..fries and bread. Me...a delicious carne asada fries with nacho cheese...WOW!! BREAD INCLUDED! did I mention the bread was amazing hahaha!! Was up all night finding places to eat with the family a day before heading to TJ. It had been a while since I last had some good ribs. Read a couple of reviews and decided to taste them. After watching a movie with the kids, we headed to this place. We were all hungry and decided to get some ribs, turkey leg, and pollo fries. My kids ordered a chia-cucumber-lemon agua fresca and I ordered a craft beer from the region. My wife's pollo fries were good, maybe lacked a tiny bit of flavor, but over all edible Next was the turkey leg. Now that was veryyy good. Too bad we only ordered one and my girls ate most of it. Next were the ribs. Honestly the presentation wasn't the best. Maybe I got a small rack but honestly i wasn't impressed. They were tender but I was not a fan of the bbq sauce. To me it tasted a lot like Carolina BBQ ribs I tasted more vinegar than I did sweetness. It tasted a lot like tomato paste. But enjoyed them anyway. The chia lemon cucumber agua fresca was very good and served in a generous cup. I did not enjoy the craft beer at all. It tasted like a watered-down version of Big Kahuna beer. Overall a pretty good way to end a hectic day. One thing is for sure, I will probably be back for the turkey leg and agua fresca. read more

In two words: Hard Pass. I would give it only 1 star, but no one reads those reviews because we think the writer had a bone to pick with someone. "Kick the Dog when you are mad at the wife" sort of thing. Maybe it was on off day? No one else there, maybe they were closing? The staff was GREAT!!! The fries would have been great but they were cold. The bread was abundant and fresh. Picture outside showed corn on the cob, they didn't serve that. but i went there for BBQ and it didn't make the cut. I had: Costillo BBQ. served swimming in sauce, first bad sign. over cooked, dried out. So tried to drown it in sauce. Texas BBQ: Chose beef. Menu says carne asada. Well, it was probably beef, but I don't think it started it's life as plank or skirt steak. Lots of gristle. Hard pass. Way too much bread vs meat. Meat, sauce and bread a sandwich doesn't make. Chicken Tenders in sauce (I am not sure that the menu item was. I wanted wings, he said they didn't have them, but suggested these things.) Nothing screams bad bbq to me louder than bits of battered chicken (baked?) covered with sauce. Over cooked, and dried out. Looked promising, but did not deliver. Final insult: they opened the smoker (which was actually in the eating area) and because the smoker was pretty cool, the ash dust drifted through the place. Not very appetizing. Sort of choking, actually. If I was in the states, I would have sent it all back, and probably paid for the beer and left. Probably not giving them a second chance.... read more

The bbq ribs are good but not amazing that won't be my first choice of food or bbq when Im down in Tijuana. The side bread was bad and the corn was very tender (over cook in the water). The only thing I can say I enjoyed were the fries. But this is just my experience and opinion try them maybe you'll like them. read more

We arrived at 11:00am. Probably better to come in the evening. Lot's of traffic very close by. Noisy. No A/C. But worth it. The cooks are wonderful but the waitress could be a little more perky. The food...WOW. We had the full slab of pork ribs and the 50/50 burger, fresh cut raw potato fries...incredible and the onion rings were made right in front of us. Food was good. Service was TERRIBLE. We had a group of 6 people and one person in our party had to wait forever for their burrito. You would think that would be the first thing out!!! She didn't get her food until everyone else was literally finished eating. Complete bullshit. And they didn't even provide an explanation why it took so long. They just acted like it wasn't a big deal. Just shows that they don't give a shit about customer service. THEN, on top of that they brought the wrong flavor of wings to another one of our friends. Did they care or even apologize??? Noooooo. I seriously don't understand how the leadership at this company (who has 5 locations) can hire such incompetent and careless employees.
