I booked Yoann's catering service for my husband's 50th birthday and I'm so glad I did! From canapés to the dessert, everything looked absolutely beautiful. I cannot believe this isn't some Michelin star restaurant. Everything tasted amazing. Each dishes was seasoned perfectly, not too salty or under salted. Chef Yoann's home dinner was such an amazing experience! We celebrated a 40th anniversary for my parents and my parents loved that we were able to enjoy fine dining in the comfort of our own home. Chef Yoann was extremely accommodating to us, including when we had to move the dinner up by 30 minutes. He provided all of the plates while we used our own utensils. We recently had an intimate wedding ceremony followed by a plated dinner at a private residence. We wanted to keep it simple and elegant with just our families attending. Fortunately, we found Chef Yoann! He and Gina were absolutely fantastic to work with! He came to our house and presented wonderful and creative ideas for the menu. There is no way to overstate the absolute mastery I witnessed at my home this past weekend at a dinner for 25 people. This dedicated, passionate and extraordinarily gifted chef provided us with a dinner equal to what one would find in the incredible Michelin star restaurants Yoann perfected his craft in. The only difference is you don't have to pay $400 a plate for the pleasure - merely a small fraction. If he opened a restaurant I would have no doubt it would be the finest in all of southern California. When comparing with other caterers or personal chefs, I would encourage you to think of it as a comparison between a cheap poster and a fabulous work of art.
