Before you read my email to Lauren. Know her team was amazing. Her response was, 'I stand by my team'. It had only to do with what she presented and the food. Good Morning Lauren. I am paying this afternoon in full but I wanted to point out a few things to you on the food. I have two businesses and I think its very important for a client to be honest with a vendor. I was pondering on whether to tell you or not but here it goes. The photos in which you texted me looked so amazing and that is one of the reasons why I hired you.  I shared them with guests to excite them about your food.  The food did not at all look anything close to what you presented.  I feel it was absolutely mis-represented to us.  I previously mentioned we go to Michelin Star restaurants all over the World. For instance: As a chef, the salad was flat, the ends were not picked off of the arugula.  Honestly, my homemade salad would have been better to serve (Arugula, butter lettuce, fennel, something fun added then a delicious vinaigrette.  It was really sad.  At this point I was truly embarrassed that a hired Celebrity Chef presented this to my guests. The Appetizer (shrimp) was delicious although some guests received 1 shrimp, others received 2-3 shrimps.  The same with the so called Signature Bread Pudding.  That definitely was not a signature dish and it definitely did not look like what you presented as a text.  I mentioned a brandy sauce to you and you said 'oh, don't worry you are going to love my signature bread pudding made with croissant bread'.   That was a mess in itself.  The guests ate the ice-cream more than the pudding.  It also looked like it was a pile of something on the dish, I'm embarrassed to say. There was absolutely no creativity on the risotto and the braised ribs were not up to par with taste, creativity and portion.  When you approached me I mentioned it was all one bone, I stretched out the hard rubber fat and only one spoonful of meat on my plate.  When you returned with more, it was more fat.  I was so disappointed.  Every single guest said the dish was COLD.  I won't even get into the 'creamy' polenta.  I make creamy polenta myself at home, its creamy.  This dish was the worst of all, the main entre and absolutely no creativity. The soup on the other hand was DELICIOUS!  But it did not look beautiful as you presented it to me.      Again, presentation was awful!  Food- no taste except for the Shrimp, Colliflower & Soup.    I better say no more on the food, I'm getting upset.  Embarrassing. Also, every chef that ever created for us has always washed or rinsed off all the glasses, chargers, silverware which many were still dirty and all over the place.  I have never had to take care of that, ever in all the years we hire chefs.  You didn't cover anything you left in our freezer and fridge.  Do you leave your restaurant like that?  Gordon would not be as nice. Because we are foodies, we decided to take a survey from our guests on the 'FOOD' category only and only because I had been hearing the whispers of guests during and after dinner.  The foodies were most important to me and it averaged out to a '2' from a 1-10 and that also included my husband, Erik.  He really liked you but was brutally honest with me the following morning when it came to the food. The food 'experience' was not what was presented to us.  It was not a food 'experience' in any way.  You need to know this because if you are going to do an 80 guest party as you mentioned, you will disappoint the party as you did us. I am very honest when it comes to things like this and I am absolutely a fair person and that is why we are still paying you.  I went back and forth on this with Erik and said I wouldn't say a word and just suck it up but the thing is, if I don't say anything to you then how can you be a success in the future. I also have to figure out how I will put the review in public. The good points are: you are adorable, the team has great energy, you were on point with the timing of the food, the Soup, Shrimp and Colliflower were delicious, your waitress was adorable and very good at her job. Please confirm you read this message and how you would like the balance. Thank you. Christine & Erik I waited an entire week hoping she would at least apologize or have some type of excuse. Standing by your team is what I would do, but again- NOT ABOUT THE TEAM, ITS ABOUT THE FOOD! I paid because that was our agreement. I also forgot to mention, she asked us for spices prior to coming. She also used up all our Olive Oil in the kitchen. That's probably why some people did not receive dressing on the tiny salad. She and her team jolted out while I drove someone home, took me fifteen minutes- maybe afraid to talk. The next day she sends a text, 'Hey, can you pay the balance'. Just unprofessional. I'm done with this review. I hope this helps foodies and those who entertain as we do. read more

I booked Flawless Cuisine for a brunch I was hosting for a bachelorette this past weekend in San Diego. Chef Lauren couldn't make it, but she sent Jaime and Aaron who were amazing and had great personalities. Jaime accommodated our fiesta theme and did a custom crepe bar for us and fun mimosa bar flavors (guava and mango)! They were on time, professional, reasonably priced, and a hit! All the girls felt very pampered. She and the staff were attentive and made sure the other guest and myself had a once in a lifetime experience. My family has Lauren as our personal chef and she has been so since July 2017, and let me tell you, she is the best chef to ever enter our kitchen (Sorry, Mom). Anyways, she has cooked for us regular meals or if we had some friends over or even some family, she would fix us nice coursed meals, this is of course if we asked her to. Her cooking is the most amazing thing you can ever find in the world, but she's not just a private cooker, she has been on two different tv shows! Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey and Super Market Stakeout. When it comes to her food, NO MATTER WHAT she fixes it is the best possible thing. Tenderness in stake, Creamyness in Mashed Potatoes, Uniqueness in meals (She has never cooked the same meal unless we asked for it), and just her personality. She is so sweet and nice and if she is working at her restaurant or her food truck and needs someone to cook for us she has an amazing team who does the job well. Jaime (Pronounced high-me) is my favorite out of her team, he fixes great meals when Lauren can't do it because she is busy, though that is rare.
