Yoga flow is an awesome second story studio with large windows, natural sunlight, and a solid heated vinyasa flow. It's also a very popular spot, as the classes are packed (even on weekdays) with around 15-25 people per class. I would recommend getting there at least 10min early to check in and secure a spot. Yoga Flow is also an inclusive studio, spanning from beginners to advanced instructors practicing, an almost even split of female/male participants, and gender neutral bathrooms! If this is your first hot yoga class, I would advise you to a bring plenty of water and a towel. The front desk also rents out yoga mats, towels, and sells drinks if you forget anything. There's plentiful cubby space to place your belongings in before class, and they lock the studio during sessions so that you don't have to worry about any of your items being stolen. These classes remind me of C2 Corepower Yoga Classes: focused on fast paced flows, stretching, and balance. The only reason I rated it as 4 stars over 5 is because I personally enjoy higher intensity cardio workouts. But this might be exactly the studio and class you're looking for :)

I was in search of a new yoga studio when I came across the $7 for 7 deal at Yoga Flow - great pricing and beautiful studio so I was eager to start. Walking in the studio was very nice, essential oils wafting through the air, clean, and and the studio was set at a comfortably warm temp. My first class wasn't bad, the instructor was kind - cared to learn names, helping clients with adjustments. However my second time, was not a great experience. The instructor's (Molly Barber) phone went off multiple times during the experience, she had no idea how to transition through different movements, and the studio was temp was so high that multiple clients had to step out of class or they were going to pass out. Even when ending the class, it was abrupt and kinda awkward. I am determined to try and find an instructor I like here and will come back since I still have my new student deal, but honestly - I would probably not want to come here, especially for the usual $30 for a class.

Is it possible to start offering 26&2 90 minute proper Bikram class options? I am looking for a good place to practice in sf and have not found it in hot yoga plus - would love to practice in a beautiful space like this! Much needed in sf!

Hi there! We are not a Bikram studio. We love vinyasa and that’s what we do! I wish I had a better answer for you. Come check us out though! Fabulous room, great flows and teachers! $25 for One Week for new students!

Does the studio offer mats/towels to rent or do you need to bring your own?

Hi there! We rent and sell mats and mat towels!

Can anyone here elaborate on the quality of the shower and changing facility? I want to make sure we will have a nice spot to get ready for the rest of our day after a morning class.Thank you!!

Hi Amanda! We are a beautiful second story location with floor to ceiling windows, gorgeous, huge skylight and tons of natural light! Out our windows you'll see beautiful trees creating a 'tree-house' like feeling. We picked this location for the…

Is the $130/ month deal for any Yoga Flow SF locations or just for one specific location?

Good day to you! The studios operate independently meaning class packages and auto pays are only valid at the studio you purchase it from. The $130 monthly unlimited is for our Ocean Avenue studio and the Union St studio monthly unlimited is $145.

The entire time I was at the studio and after, I felt like the staff was hounding me to commit to a membership. While I get that it's normal for fitness studios to reach out for post-class feedback, Ritual Hot Yoga exhausted my patience with their incessant texts and emails. I was literally getting spammed with notifications. Apart from the incompetent administrative staff, the class was delivered at such a rapid pace using esoteric jargon rather than industry standard terminology that I could not keep up and transition quickly enough, and the instructor failed to check on me throughout class. Also, since the room was really dark, it was difficult to see and copy others' movements, and the instructor walked around and often stood at the back of the room instead of demonstrating the movements at the front of the class. Worst class ever. I left Ritual Hot Yoga feeling like I hadn't worked out at all despite it being a hot class, so I immediately went to the gym afterwords to get in an actual workout. Ritual Hot Yoga wasted both my time and money. I will never return and have de-influenced my friends from coming here.

That said, I wasn't a big fan of the carpeted floors, as they don't seem the easiest to keep clean. My biggest takeaway, though, is that the class didn't really feel like Pilates. To me, Pilates is more about slow, controlled movements, intentional engagement, and strength-focused work. This class felt more like a series of random movements that didn't align much with that style. It leaned heavily into cardio, felt repetitive at times, and wasn't very engaging. I'm on a pilates class kick trying lots of different studios and classes in the 'hood. I took Hot Pilates (60 minutes) with Sean and it was amazing! It's the best class I've taken through Classpass this year and it's mat pilates--no machine. Classes seem cheaper than some bougie studios nearby. Funky Door isn't pretentious, but it's a very good workout. I loved the heat--it really made the class stand out. The instructor Sean was hilarious, personable, fun, and funny. Attendees seem more diverse in terms of age, gender, background, ethnicity, and body than at other pilates studios I've tried recently which is extremely refreshing. I will be back! The lockers don't have locks, but many people use them anyways. The interior is funky, eccentric, and real--a nice change-of-pace from the overly-clean, modern, and sterile typical reformer pilates studios (although they should definitely be clean if we are going barefoot!) I wasn't even mad that it was unclear (from Classpass--always blame Classpass, that's why I only do their free trial) that I needed to bring my own mat and towel. I paid $5 for their mat (which doubled as a towel) and it was necessary because some people who brought their own mats were slipping on them from the sweat and having trouble doing different poses! The guy next to me had to switch to the floor which, even though it's no-shoes in the studio, is definitely not sanitary and I would never! Will be back!
