Older crowd and I was the only male. This is truly a beginner class, great pace and very supportive class and instructor. They offer massages which I can not speak about. I did not attend the evening class. However if you are from out of town and want to work on your practice or from in town and you want a stretch this is a great place to do it. Very friendly and accommodating staff. A little hard to see if coming from the Bandon side but you can't miss the bright yellow buildings no from the Port Orford side. Parking is all dirt and grass. What a great way to start the day! Second class with Heather today and another Great experience. Heather even remembered my name! Drop ins are twelve dollars and if you are in town I highly recommend this studio!

I signed up for a retreat through House of Asana in the Fall of 2023…read more I paid my deposit ($300) in November 2023 and set up reoccurring payments ($175/month) through PayPal to start in October 2023 to complete my payment for the retreat. Come May 2024, I've started my masters program, one of my dogs died of cancer and I told Lauren (the owner of House of Asana and the leader of the retreat) that I could no longer attend the retreat (scheduled for November 2024). It took her a couple of months before she responded, and ultimately she told me that she would be refunding all of my payments besides the $300 deposit I made. I agreed to forfeit the $300 deposit and asked for the rest of my payments back. Fast forward to October of 2024, and I've only received part of my payments back. I received I've emailed her 10x+ to see if she'd help me out with the payments but she has not responded. I'm missing 5 payments of $175 each that she told me I'd be receiving. She partially refunded me, but not totally. She's since then stopped responding to me and I've had to file a report on PayPal (today, 10/16/24). I hate to leave negative reviews, but I really need my money. My other dog tore her ACL and I might have cervical cancer at this lint in time. I really need my extra money. I understand that people are busy, but I requested a refund in May 2024 and it's October 2024 and I've not received a response or my refund. I would not purchase a package through this company.

We've since brought friends in to check out this great gym, and Tanya was happy to give us a tour as walk-ins--thank you! I'll update this review later, but so far, I've only ever found rock climbing gyms to be this exciting. I really appreciate the wide range of activities and options available here. It's kid-inclusive, disability-inclusive, and offers designated times and spaces to make certain areas safer for different groups. There's also a spa with many services, plus other highlights like a fresh juice and food café, saltwater pools, a rock climbing wall, hot tub, kids' area, online classes, and rotating displays of local artists' work each month. I ran into a family member and my obgyn which was pleasant. I could go on. It also happens to be a place where AMR ambulances are stationed while waiting for calls, which is pretty unique. Love it. The one downside I'll mention has to do with gym members, not gym itself. It is important to share though. One experience we had at the pool last July. While pregnant, I regularly swam laps as part of my exercise routine. One day, I invited friends visiting from Oakland to join my partner and me at CNW. One of my friends is an excellent swimmer and instructor. While we were swimming laps, we noticed repeated, intentional, and uncomfortable staring from a group of men in the hot tub. I asked if they were waiting for the pools or something. We were not breaking any rules, being disorderly, or abusing time limits. The energy was noticeable and felt by ALL of us. Perhaps it's worth noting that some older, Caucasian gym members may prefer an environment that reflects Oregon's earlier history. I'm not saying CNW itself is racist, but it would feel incomplete not to share what we experienced that day.

We had a party here, which they plan after a full day of kids playing in there so it's not sanitized before. And they are worried about outside food or drink yet have literal sh*t on the floor. When I contacted Downtown fitness I was baffled by the level of disregard, unprofessional, and disrespect. I requested the email or contact information of the person incharge of Amy to resolve these issues. Amy refused to provide me with any of the information. She went as far as blaming me for the issue and hanging up on me. As I followed up to Speak with Debbie Amy again hung up on me. After a 3rd call Amy said she would have Debbie call me back that she was with a client and again hung up on me. I've held memberships at every gym between Roseburg and Sutherlin. Never have I had this issue with any business in my entire life. This issue still is not resolved. I've never post a negative review in my life. The money missing from my account is a small issue compared to the Employee that has created it.
