I can't say enough good things about YogaPilatesBarre studio. I found it during a time in my life when I was really struggling. Mentally, emotionally, and physically. I was looking for a safe space where I could move my body and begin to heal, and this studio became exactly that and more. From the very beginning I felt supported just by being in the presence of the incredible women here. Without even knowing the full extent of what I was going through, their energy, encouragement, and consistency helped me start showing up for myself in ways I hadn't been able to before. Since joining in December 2023 I've grown so much, especially physically. I've never felt stronger or more connected to my body. I attend classes about five days a week now and it truly feels like a second home. The instructors and fellow members notice when something's off or when you've been gone. They care. That sense of community has made a huge impact on my overall well-being. This place has helped me rebuild my strength, find clarity, and cultivate real, lasting health. Love, love, love it!!!! All of the instructors are knowledgeable, personable and helpful. You will see and feel your body getting stronger, leaner, toner and flexible. My favorite classes: Candlelight Yoga with Tani (the assists are great!!!) and your muscles will become flexible; Yoga Pilates Barre with Marti (she will work those legs and abs); HIIT with Grace the owner and Tani (there will be no part of our body that they will miss); Happy Hour Yoga with Tani (will give you balance) and Lastly Core with Grace, Tani or Marti (will give your abs a workout like they've never had. I had surgery about 3 years ago and thought that I would never be able to get my lower abs to flatten again. Since I have been going to Yoga Pilates Barre, and most of their classes end with ab workout, my lower abs are beginning to flatten. My core is my weakest area, and although I struggle with some of the moves, I stick with it, because I can see the results. You will not regret signing up for classes. read more

I've been going to this Yoga studio since July of 2018, and I absolutely love it! I have been able to make so much progress with my flexibility and strength that I never thought I could achieve. The owner of the studio, Grace, is one of the nicest people I have ever met! She tries to get to know everyone who attends classes. All of the instructors are very welcoming. The studio is very clean and cozy. It does not feel intimidating at all, which some gyms can sometimes be. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone out there looking for a place to workout at! This Yoga studio does not only offer regular yoga; There are high-intensity workouts that will push you to your hardest, or calmer classes that help relax your muscles and sweat out a bad day. It also is very flexible with time with classes starting at 6:00 am for those who cannot workout later in the day! Love Love Love this place ...and the workouts!! All the instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable and encourage their students to work with their bodies and to modify when needed. The workouts are for all fitness levels including beginners. I suffer from scoliosis and 2 painful herniated discs in my lower back and have been doing these workouts for almost 2 years. (I have never stuck with an exercise routine longer than 3 months) I have noticed better posture, strength, flexibility, huge reduction in pain and very positive changes in my body. In fact, I am stronger and more flexible at 51 than I was at 21 and in better shape. For anyone still on the fence about trying YPBarre ...just do it. It can positively change your mind, body and soul!!! read more

I have recently gone back to the studio after being away due to Covid lock down and work related travel. Once I retired, I had the time to invest in myself again. I was thrilled to find the same welcoming atmosphere, even more excellent instructors, with classes that challenge and inspire. And of course, the owner and instructor, Grace still runs the best studio i have ever found! She makes certain that the studio welcomes everyone and takes a personal interest in each and every student. After moving to this area over three years ago, I could not find a place within a 30 mile distance in which the practice of doing YOUR yoga was honored.....Until, I decided to do another google search about 6 months ago and found that this studio had opened within the previous year. Grace, Tani, and Marti are knowledgeable and sensitive instructors who are always well prepared and who challenge yet support us in their classes. I've found that I love Barre and HIIT as much as yoga, so the only problem is which class in the very varied schedule to take with my limited time every week! read more

Absolutely the best thing on the south side... or anywhere. My physical therapist recommended Pilates to help me recover from a hip injury. I've taken Pilates, on and off for years, I was surprise and delighted to find such professional, knowledgeable and experienced instruction so close to home. With the support of Grace, Marti and Tani, I've resolved the issues associated with my injury and turned the clock back 20 years on my fitness level. read more

I took my first HIIT class today and really enjoyed it, I was still a little sore from my Tuesday morning class with Marti, but I hung in there. This was my first time doing a class with Tani and she keep you focus on the task at hand reminding you to keep the core in. Tani made the class fun and not so much as a hard chore. I am going to add this class to my weekly schedule for fitness. I may even bring a friend next time to try it. read more

I have been going here since 2018 and I haven't stopped! There is such a sense of community inside this studio! The instructors are top-notch and always willing to help. The owner, Grace, is THE BEST! She takes such pride in her studio and all that goes on in there! She will also, routinely, kick your butt in her class! I consider her my friend!! I started attending classes at Yoga Pilates Barre just over a year ago. I love it! Not only am I stronger, but I'm calmer and more relaxed. I've taken the yoga, barre, and HIIT classes. They are all wonderful. The instructors are are wonderful as well. Class times range from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm.I can always find a class that fits my schedule. This studio is fantastic. Great teachers, great classes, and a friendly atmosphere. The HIIT Pilates Barre class is a favorite as is the Candlelight Yoga. Was so excited to find YPB 15 months ago! Great instructors- they really know how to make exercise FUN! Really like the small class sizes and the variety of different classes available during the week.
