I hadn't been to an in-person yoga class since before Covid. I chose a power flow with Emily and it was fun! I found that I wanted to be a little more challenged which was surprising. The class was in a heated room but it was not unbearable. I thought it would be warmer, actually. I'm excited to try more classes. Emily was a great instructor. I recently moved back to the Denver area and decided to start practicing yoga again since it had been a while since I was last on the mat. I initially signed up for a membership through my health insurance, which only provided two classes. However, after attending my first two classes--Restore with Ana and Slow Flow with Maggie--I was hooked! I decided to upgrade to an unlimited membership. It's only been a week, but I truly love this space. All the instructors are so welcoming, and I really appreciate how they emphasize listening to your body and making adjustments as needed. Each instructor brings their own unique and fun energy to the classes. I also love the variety of classes offered. The Sculpt classes I've taken with Cody and Nancy have been a fantastic experience! Their classes are so energetic and fun that the hour flies by--I was sad it was over. If you're looking for a great workout, I highly recommend those classes. I've also enjoyed Maggie's Slow Flow class on Sundays, which was a great way for me to ease back into practice. Christa's Restore class was wonderful too--I loved her energy and felt so relaxed afterward. The Hot class taught by Irene was another favorite of mine. It follows a set sequence, making it a great way to build strength and flow. TL;DR: If you're looking for a yoga studio in this area, I highly recommend this place! ied the Restorative Yoga at Yogasix yesterday morning and it was pretty great. The staff was very nice and the studio and all of the props were super clean. I really liked the soft blue lighting in the studio too. It was very peaceful. I felt like I got a good stretch in and left feeling relaxed and refreshed, which is exactly what I'm looking for when I leave a yoga class. My absolute favorite part of the class was that they brought around cold scented towels for our faces for Shivasana. It was a really nice touch! read more

I wanted to update my review... as I recently went to YogaBox in Cherry Creek, and I wanted to contrast my experience there with my experience with Yogasix. #1- parking, parking in Cherry Creek is a pain, YogaSix in Lowry has plenty of parking. #2- both yoga classes were a power class in a heated room, but Yogabox packed in the yogis, I was 3 inches from my neighbor, and I was right by the "prop" room where they keep their blocks and tools, which they did not close during the class. I am not sure why they didn't close the door, I can only assume it was because there was no room for the instructor to stand, so keeping the door open allows the teacher to hang out inside the door frame. Contrast this with YogaSix where even when a class is "full" there is still plenty of room (they can easily fit 4-5 more people in a class even when it says online it is full). I appreciate that we are not packed in like sardines. #3- cool towels at the end of session. This is MY favorite thing! It seems only Colorado Yogasix does this, but 10 minutes before each class ends a person brings in a cold towel that you can place on your eyes or neck. It is heavenly after a hot yoga session! #4- I like that we all our responsible for cleaning our props right after class, I have been to other yoga studios where props immediately get put back (without any type of cleaning). #5- I love the diversity in classes, I do a sculpt class once a week, and power or slow flow 2x per week and 1 restore class, which gives my body a variety, so I don't get bored. read more

If you have Friday mornings off, do yourself a favor and sign up for the Restore class with Tammy. I am new to yoga (akin to a newborn deer trying to walk) and was a bit nervous going to my first class. Tammy was incredibly welcoming and helped me gather all the props I would need and explained the purpose of each. She gave me a background on the class and at the end of the class made sure to check in to see how I was feeling and also demonstrated how to clean up my area. Showing me how to set up and put everything away may seem like nothing, but was very much appreciated. The studio itself was warm (not hot) with calming music and dim down lighting. Even though I was new to yoga, I did not feel lost and knew Tammy was keeping an eye on me to help if needed. The class itself was calming and centering. I left feeling lighter and craving to go back the following day. A nice touch at Yoga six is the aromatherapy and cool towel provided during shavasana. They also have assorted lulu lemon apparel for purchase in the lobby. Overall fantastic experience thanks to Tammy. read more
