We thought it was great little getaway. I would give 4.5 cause you can't be perfect. Only thing I dint like was the store closes early and no food during week. But there's a reason like not enough business to do it. Been nice to if had pizza corner pizzas to sell. Staff was nice no issues at all and I had a couple problems to deal with. This is our second time to this campground. First time we booked they never told us their pool wasn't open. So the paid for our site the second time. That was great. We arrived yesterday and the staff has been nothing but rude. I went down to the front desk this morning becuase I had put on my wrist band yesterday when we arrived way too tight. So I wait in line for 10 mins While said front desk staff rudely handle a phone call. I proceeded to tell him I put my bracelet on to tight for my comfort he then decided to embarrass me in front of all other costumers about how I'm trying to steal and give my bracelet to someone else and how could I think that was to tight. mind you I need this bracelet tell Wednesday when we check out. I let him cut the original off of my wrist. Very disappointed in this campground my group of 15 that booked two cabins and a campsite will not be spending our money here again. Pool hours are also horrible. 10:30 on a Monday pool still isn't open. read more

The customer service was exceptional--one of the owners even helped me with finding the best discount!! Our cabin was clean and well-maintained (the A/C worked excellent also). All the workers were polite, responsive, and kind. They work hard at maintaining clean grounds, working equipment (we rented a golf cart), and a safe environment. Wow! What an RV Park! The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. This extremely huge park has all the potential to be one of the nicest RV parks in the country. Just seems a little run down. Just needs a little paint and TLC. We loved it! So quiet. We had a site that backed up to the pond and slept with our door open to the crickets and frogs singing. So relaxing. Spent 2 days as a stop-over. Could have stayed a lot longer. This is a peaceful setting. Pros: Everything. Cons: Paint, repair, and TLC needed. read more

Updating review. We just finished up our 5th year as a seasonal. We had done weekends before that. We left after the 2017 season. Mainly because the cost is going WAY up and how management is at the campground. Our rent is going up to $3600...but that's if I paid before the 2017 season was done. There was a new owner (company out of the northwest...adventure bound camping) and a new manager couple this season. Horrible. I've already heard the managers are gone and a single guy is coming in. No supervision of the campground this winter. All I have to say is good luck! read more

First off the only reason I give this four stars is because they advertise WiFi and they don't have WiFi. They only have it in the store... the store is really cute. It even has an arcade. Plus a jumping pillow. The laundry room is clean and all the washers worked. They do have three slides. It was an all day fun day sliding. I would not recommend getting a spot next to the ponds. The bugs are horrendous. We moved away from the pond and it was just fine. read more

Last day here we loved it here clean and nice staff. We were right across from the park and pools which was awesome. Plenty of space between sites and it was nice that the hook ups weren't right across where we sat. They staggered the sites so the hook ups where in the middle and were away from the entrance doors and picnic tables. It's big so if you're in the back bring bikes or rent a golf cart. The blow up slides were awesome my son had a great time....we had a great time we'll make this a yearly trip for sure. read more

Ok, read this review with the intent it was written. To inform. First, $100 dollars a night. $100. We've been to Disney's campground, and it was $170 a night. And way more worth it than this place. We stayed on a packed Saturday night. With that said, there were people everywhere doing everything. If my family were younger, this would have been great. But we were 3 adults, so the amount of activity was completely overwhelming. And noisy. And being immediately off the interstate doesn't help. Now for the sites. Small and cramped. Rigs right on top of each other. And we lost power in the middle of the night. Had this campsite been $40, I wouldn't be writing this review. But I refer to my first fact: $100 a night. read more

Stay away from this place! We came here for a nice family trip with our 5 kids and 1 friend. We had to call 911 on our neighbors due to a horrible domestic fight in the middle of the night. We were up all night watching guard, concerned about what our neighbors might do until we could leave in the morning. On the way to the managers office, heard from other seasonal campers that fighting like this was a common occurrence in the campground. And this was a Wednesday night! I can't imagine what happens there on the weekends. Spoke to manager who was rude and downplaying the situation, talking over me and telling me that the neighbors actually just had a fire in their camper which was why we heard yelling. I told her I heard far more than a little yelling for 15 seconds due to a surprise fire, ie. cuss words, throwing objects, banging, woman hysterically crying for an hour. The couple we called the police on was her employee! Manager was rude and unprofessional. She told me that I should've called her instead of 911. I asked her where I would've gotten her number? She rudely said that it's posted on her office door, which was 1/2 mile away! I said it seemed like an emergency when we saw what seemed like pushing/hitting and throwing things, and then a woman hysterically crying! We were concerned for the woman's safety and needed to call 911! She wanted us to pack up our site and move to another location, instead of kicking out the fighting couple. We said if we are packing up, we are leaving and want our money back. Which is what we wanted to do, due to the unsafe feeling there. Asked for reimbursement, which the manager laughed and said no way! She said she would absolutely not give us because we are choosing to leave and that you can't have guaranteed safety anywhere in this world. She said she would have the couple move and we said that they know that we called the cops and have no idea what they might do to us. After bickering with her, and finally getting stern and putting my foot down for the safety of my family, realizing that she was not going to reimburse us. I could not believe that she was even arguing about a reimbursement, I thought it was a no-brainer that we would get our money back after our family trip was ruined! We said ok, we will call corporate. She said that she will be escalating this and calling them first. She came back in one minute saying that she will reimburse us. Why did it take for me to get stern and demand our money back? And these are the employees that she chooses to have around our kids? This is advertised as a family campground and I would never trust any employee like that around kids. Terrible manager! read more

$80.00 a night? This was certainly not an $80.00 a night campsite. This grass and gravel site had a dead branch hanging from a tree. The gentleman mowing the sites didn't blink an eye to respond to remove the dead branch. The site was uneven and the very rickety picnic table had badly chipped paint and was covered with lichen. The site faced a seasonal site that was not well kept. Neighbors parked all over the place so it was hard for us to park our vehicle - we did park behind our unit. We could not pull out of this pull-through site upon departure due to the multiple cars parked at the nearby seasonal sites. Backing out of the site was not a problem, but still not ideal. Unleashed dogs ransacked our campsite while we were inside our camper. One large dog actually licked the tablecloth and stuck its head in our trash bin, knocking it over. I was very uneasy about taking my dog out of the camper for walks because I wasn't sure if the unleashed dogs would return. Neighbors were very loud well into the night with no regard for those around them. It didn't appear that there was any staff patrolling to help with loudness after hours. The camp store was nice and the counter staff was friendly and efficient but it really seems that the weekend or overnight camper is not a priority and the seasonal campers seem to rule. read more

Lets start with the positive : -the kids really enjoyed the jumping pillow and the water slides. Negative -the tubing creek was non-existent. not only was there not any water but they had also dumped old counter tops and construction material in the creek bed. my wife and I nicknamed it asbestos stream. - The swimming pool was about the quarter of the size it should be for a large campground like this. there was not enough seating for more than 3 or 4 families. - the worst part of the entire trip was the size of the campsites. We had one of their "larger sites" and it was so narrow we felt like we didn't have our own space. We could not sit at our fire ring without sitting in the neighbors campsite. If all you seek is entertainment for the kids it may be a ok. Don't expect to find peace or serenity at this campground. read more

My family and I JUST finished a quick weekend camping trip to the newly (fairly new) minted Jellystone Park Campground - formerly the BEAVER TRAILS Campground. Lets do the CONS first - fairly packed in - no kidding, they stack campers close enough that the awnings almost seem to touch the backside of the camper next to it (*the neighbors large white dog KEPT coming round' the rear of our camper on his line to see what was what). Anyhow, I'm not a big fan of trailers being so tight, so I'm not sure we'll be back again - who knows....the kids really enjoyed themselves. NOW, the PROS - Very clean, very well maintained large campground with LOTS of things to do AND attention to the service aspect of camping. First, my wife left a message @ their reservation desk and asked if they would call back when they opened - the rep called back that night after 6:30 and helped finish the reservation (they closed at 6). Yeah, I know it's not like the discovery of a new ice cream flavor, but it's GOOD customer service - and I think we can all agree that we need MORE of that these days. Ok, I digress...we show up, it's clean looking the front gate is staffed with friendly and helpful staff. They lead you to your campsite (we have a 30ft travel trailer) on a golf cart so there's NO confusion - like when you arrive at OTHER campgrounds and you get the hand-drawn-circle-map with that stupid highlighter smear on where you're SUPPOSED to go (followed by a vague wave). The owner - DON - even help us park our camper ! He's a friendly fella' from Texas who actually TAKES PRIDE in his campground ! (*as he say's "Im not finished here"). He just bought the place a few years back and has been making improvements ever since. He is quick to help while showing people around his ongoing project of improvement and customer service. TOO MANY activities to list here, the pool is smaller and a bit older but decent with an attached 3-tube water slide. LOTS AND LOTS of stuff for both kids & adults to do and Austin MN is about 7 miles West on I-90 if you forget a toothbrush (*they HAVE a WELL stocked "Ranger Station" with 20+ flavors of Ice Cream and tons of other cool stuff). There's a plethora (hey I actually used that in a sentence) of stuff on their website so check it out. The restrooms are called "Comfort Stations" and they seem well maintained and ...well....comfortable (genius me) Look, they only reason I gave this place only 3 stars was the tight-fit. Try it yourself, pick 2 days and give it a shot. Happy Camping and ask for "DON" when you get there ! I will start with the positive. My children had a lot of fun because there are many activities to do here. Their favorite was the jumping pillow. The hay ride was fun and the man driving the tractor made it fun for the children! Even though there is a lot to do here, I do not feel that my money was well spent at all! My children have just as much fun at any old campground and have way better luck fishing and tubing! The tubing river is not a tubing river at all! There was no water in the creek and there were rocks, cement boulders and junk all over in it. The ponds for fishing and paddle boating were full of green slime and the beautiful water fountain that the brochure shows was not working. The pool is way too small for such a big campground and the water in it was very foggy. You could not even see the bottom of the pool!! Some of the bikes that they have to rent out were broken, but still usable. The bike trails were a gravel road that went around the outside of the park..okay, but not very impressive. You had to pay over $7 to have your children go mining which I thought was a bit too much especially since they could do it for $5 at Harmony Cave. The sites were packed in tight! The thing that I was most upset about was the way we were treated!!! The owner Tammy sure had a great smile, but she was down right rude to my family!!! All of the other staff that we talked to were very friendly and kind. I would suggest saving your money or if you really want the Jellystone experience..choose a different Resort!! read more
