Tilly's RV is a very low key RV park. Rates are extremely reasonable for full hook ups, $35/night…read more There are 3 rows to choose from and 2/3 of the spaces are pull through with no additional cost! The bathroom and laundry are extremely clean and quiet. It is 5 exits away from the nearest Walmart. It is next door to Tilly's bar & grill(decent food) . Not too noisy though. No play area for the kids or organized activities of any kind. It is close to the freeway to get what you need, especially heading to Rochester Mayo clinic. If you have a camper trailer, this is an excellent value if you have an extended stay in Rochester, MN, especially for the mayo clinic. Highly recommended for a no nonsense rv park and value.

This address is NOT for the restaurant, which is next door. This is an RV Park with full hook ups:…read morewater, electric, sewer, bath house, office, lounge, washers and dryers. The sites are level gravel with paved drives, located north of the restaurant, along highway 52. It is noisy next to the highway. The sites have grass, but it hadn't been mowed when we were here. It had rained all week and our shoes were soaked walking in the tall wet grass. There are pine trees in some of the sites with pine cones. There are no picnic tables for campers to use. Pets are welcome. The street lights don't work in the park so it is dark. The office has the restrooms/showers, but you have to pay to take showers. The toilets and sinks are free and very clean. There were washers and dryers, but we didn't use them. There was a comfortable lounge. The office wasn't open when we got there and we never saw any one in there while we were there. You fill out a form provided outside the office door, and slide it under the office door. When someone gets in the office, they take the form and payment, then put it in an envelope and hang it on the outside of office door for you to pick up later. It's confusing the first time when you get here. The restaurant looks like the office. NOPE! This park is only open April to the fall. It was quite pricey ($45 per night) for just the hook ups, not having someone in the office, no picnic tables, unmowed yards, gravel lots, and pay to shower. If we had to come to this area again, we would stay here, but we would shop around for better prices. It was nice having a restaurant close by. Shopping is 5 minutes down the road.

We had a really nice stay four times at what we think is a very nice campground (Oakwood…read moreCampground, Clear Lake, Iowa) with great pull through sites with full hookup. We thought we were getting along fine with the management and they had not informed us of any issues. Mind you this was the first that we knew of any problem after staying 4 times in one summer. We are, basicly, rule followers and have never had a problem over many decades of camping. We respect that it entails a lot of hard work to run a campground well. We acknowledge that we were wrong and made a mistake. We overstayed past noon without asking for an extension. Management approached us very agitated, accused us of overstaying and planning to winterize. She did not accept our apology, our explanation that we were not winterizing on the campground property or our offer to pay. The other half of the management then stopped in his pickup truck and yelled. "This better not ever happen again." I went to visit with him to tell him we were sorry and did not mean to intentionally frustrate or anger them. I apologized again as my husband and daughter had. I shared that we really enjoyed the campground. He did not want to visit with me and kept saying, "We are not going to talk about this."He blamed us for coming in too close to closing time twice. Apparently, 15 minutes prior to closing is too late. Blamed us for not reading the rules (we had). Blamed us for planning to winterize (he would not listen to find out we were not planning to winterize). We have never winterized in a campground. We sent a check for more than our over stay and they sent it back voided. Mind you we had had no unkind words with this couple previous to this situation. We were the ones being yelled at and unable to visit civilly with them. We tried. We did not yell or act belligerently towards either of them. I expect management to be able to inform us of a mistake we made in a civil manner not in a belligerent or threatening manner. I also expect to be able to do the right thing to make amends if we are wrong and have made a mistake.
