They show nice pictures on the website but fail to show that if it was any closer to I90 you would be parking your RV on the interstate. Lots of traffic noise an okay grounds, mostly dirt and gravel. !!!!! HIGHWAY ROBERY !!!! DO NOT STOP HERE FOR PROPANE!!! They don't charge by how much propane they put in your tank, they charge by what size your tank is. We stopped to fill prior to staying with friends near by. We have two 40 pound tanks, one that was at 67% and one at 39%. They charged us a flat rate for each tank regardless of how much was still in each tank. Between the two tanks we were a little over 40 pound and it cost us $61 and some change to fill the two tanks. We are really glad we weren't planning to stay here. This unscrupulous practice makes me wonder what other things they do to unsuspecting customers. We booked this RV park just a week or so in advance. Ended up getting a book 3 nights, get 1 night free discount which brought the total cost per night down to about $54. Location was great, easy access on and off the interstate. Being our first time at a Jellystone park, we weren't sure what to expect. Pro's: 1) Tons of kids for our boys to play with! 2) Tons of activities including mini golf, jumping pillow, gaga ball (our boys favorite), panning for gold, lazer tag, jungle gym, and the pool. 3) Easy interstate access 4) Helpful staff and they seemed to take good care of the facilities. Neutral: 1) Easy pull through site just long enough for our fifth wheel. We had to park sideways behind to fit our tow vehicle. For many, this won't be an issue. Con's: 1) With that easy interstate access comes road noise. It didn't bother us as we all sleep with a sound machine, but I could see others having an issue. 2) They bussed in schools kids that took over certain activities during our stay. 3) When pulling out, we had to ask our neighbor to move his truck so we could make the turn. A bit tight on some of the streets. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future should we find ourselves driving through Sioux Falls! read more

My wife rented the small cabin for 2 nights in September. When she arrived, she noticed that the bed had no sheets, blankets or pillows. She was told that most people bring their own linens. This cabin also did not have a bathroom. After complaining to the owner, he recommended she rent the RV that they use for transient people. The RV is nice, although they did not do a walk through explaining how everything works. She could not figure out how to turn on the lights, the TV did not work, and the RV door would not shut completely. This allowed a lot of fly's to enter the RV. After complaining to the owner he sent his son out to fix the door. What ever he did, it didn't work, the door still would not shut completely. She spent the night in the RV, and once again complained to the owner that the door and the TV was still not fixed. She called me and in tears told me all the problems she was having and wanted to know what to do. I advised her to pack up and leave. I called the owner and informed him of her displeasure. Particularly the problems with the fly's in the RV, and the door not closing properly. He told me that this is a campsite, your bound to have fly's. He said that even at home he has fly's. I told him that if he closed his doors or windows, he probably wouldn't have fly's in his home. He is an obnoxious individual and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

We've been coming to this campground for the last 3 summers. In 2021 it was clean and well maintained. Our grandkids (ages 12 & 7) love the pool so we spend a lot of time there. The tables and pool deck area were filthy! Used bandaids, melted ice cream, wrappers, spilled food littered the area and wasn't cleaned up by the next day or day s after. The bathrooms need to be power washed---crud all along the baseboards etc. The only cleaning I witnessed was them collecting trash. It was disgusting! read more

This place is a bit of a joke. They nickel & dime for you for everything. So we make reservations and they said if we don't make it in by the time they close there will be a map with your name on it. Perfect! We pull in at 10 pm because we had some out of the ordinary detours which made for a long day already. They had made it sound like they were full to put our travel friends next to us and wanted to charge $10 bucks for it. Umm no.. We find our one and only name on the window to go to our site. They only have a few people in this huge campground. All the lights leading to the sites were not lit, and we get to ours in the dark to pull into this skinny area and it had rained so much our coach sinks and gets stuck in the mud. I'm in ahhh like WTH... so as we use our phone flash lights to see how bad it is, we put the truck in 4 low hoping we can get out. We were successful and thankful. I call the next day and talk with the owner Bruce. He has zero customer service skills. Non, I let him know that we got stuck because there was no lighting and there is a huge hole that should be filled in. His response was ya we will take care of it, can I help you with anything else.. Really, no I'm sorry for that we will get that fixed right away. Maybe we should move you or take some off your bill. Nothing!! So he sends someone one out an hour later and they fill in the hole. I get it rains but put some gravel down. We tracked mud in and out the whole time we were there and of course it rained the night before we left and it was a gross mess hooking up!! We had to stay there 4 days and I can tell you, the pool wasn't open, you can't use the fire pits unless you get the wood from them. They charged $44 a night on week days and $67 on weekends. Normally I don't go for theses types of camping places however, when I plan our big road trips I make sure there's and perfect blend of what I want to do and what the kiddos want to do. I knew they would just love the amenities here and this place was just right there, literally on our route, 2 minutes off the highway. Perfect! We arrived late and our welcome package, an entire bag full of goodies including wrist bands for the pool was not only waiting for us with the super friendly staff in the camp store, but we were also escorted by golf cart directly to our spot! I am definitely not used to this kind of hospitality at the campgrounds back home. The sites were a tad close together, but it wasn't really an issue. There were standard electric hook ups, a picnic table, and fire ring. The weather was perfection late July and we had a great nights sleep. The bath house was clean and not too far from the tent sites. In the morning the kiddos bounced on the bounce pad and swam a bit. They loved it! There's also mini golf and basketball courts. I would recommend a stay here. Price is very fair! The entire place is clean and the staff was very helpful. Oh, and it's located just outside adorable downtown Sioux Falls making for a great option before your journey into town. If you have kids and like to camp, this is a great spot for you! read more

The staff here was just unfriendly. We asked for a site that would get satellite reception when we made reservations... that didn't happen. The park was busy but when we checked in we were the only ones in the office. One employee was on the phone two more were visiting... we waited until the person on the phone got done to check in. Be advised: this place is swarming with young kids. They dominate the pool at all times. And it is outrageously overpriced. $60.00 per night and I have to pay extra for wifi with a password? What a joke! The free wifi was inadequate. Customers also have to pay 100% up front when making a reservation instead of when they check-in. Incredibly tiny showers and the bathroom floor was always wet due to pool occupants. I will admit that the service was decent. Staff let me borrow a ladder and was generally responsive. They pick up your garbage if it is bagged and left at the end of your site. Grounds were well maintained and trees provided some shade. Too expensive for our blood so we will not return. read more

Super clean! Very friendly and helpful staff, the campground is right off the highway, hot tub and pool available, make sure you check out the water falls, there pretty neat to see. The water pressure in the showers wasn't very good, but the laundry room was a nice thing. read more

Nice park. Really kid friendly. Clean restrooms/ showers. We stayed 2 nights and one they were celebrating Halloween in Sept. We ran out and bought candy for all the adorable trick or treaters. We just put candy out for the kids to take. Really fun watching the parents and little ones stop by The staff is really friendly and they offer free DVDs to borrow. A must stay especially if you want a safe , fun park for kids and pets. Really good cable too. read more

Four little girls had two different males at the campsite next to us expose their penis to them. Management did NOT address the situation. Once we got settled in our campsite, almost immediately an older gentleman started urinating towards four young girls, myself and a male friend with us. His penis was exposed and when the male friend yelled at him to stop the gentleman did not and continue to urinate and expose his penis to us. The man did not apologize. I then called the front desk and the manager said they would address the situation. The only logical thing to do would have been to remove the party from the premises. However, the manager said if they do it again let her know and she would talk to the man. The manager's response was completely inappropriate. The man was staring at the little girls making them very uncomfortable. The next morning another gentleman at the campsite did the exact same thing!! It's almost funny to them very pedophile and disgusting. We decided to leave the campsite and depart from our trip early. When canceling we told the manager that we didn't have the best experience and she didn't even ask why or offer to try and make it right. On top of this the swimming pool and bathrooms were absolutely disgusting! read more

I only give two stars because of all the activities the kids can do. This is definitely fun for the kids. When I reserved the site, they made me pick a tent site without seeing it, so we were really displeased when we drove up to no trees & other campers less than 5 feet from us. We have a mixture of hammock tents and a rooftop tent, so the hammocks didn't get to be used due to NO trees. The tent sites are right by a highway. Noise all night long & lights shining all over the place. Terrible to actually relax & get rest. I will not return here. Plus they are overpriced. read more

Great campground; typical for Jellystone parks. My only complaint were young camp workers driving quads/golf carts much faster than the posted 5 mph speed limit the rest of us are expected to follow. On multiple occasions one of the workers pulled out in front of me without ever looking. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of July, 2020, with our two teenagers. We tent camped, and the sites are very tight. On the first night, a softball team of 20 somethings and some of their girlfriends started arriving around 10 pm, ready to drink beer and be loud. We survived, but my wife did get up around midnight to ask them to be quiet. They must not have been very good softball players because they were in the campsite by 3 pm the following day and drank beer until 3 am the following morning. We called in a noise complaint, and the ranger showed up and warned them, only for them to continue to be loud immediately after he left. Calling in a noise complaint was problematic, because we were tent camping and, in these tiny campsites, you can hear everything your neighbor says. The fact that these people were there to party and be obnoxious was obvious and not something the campsite proactively addressed. There was also not any continuous monitoring of the campsite throughout the night. Jellystone asked us for a review after our stay. We responded with the above and more. We never heard back from them. read more

Easy enter and depart with 40 foot motorhome with dinghy tow. Arlington spaces are pretty level. Driving surfaces are gravel. Nice big fire pits with BBQ grates. Lots of things for kids to do. Areas that need improvement? WIFI. Some sort of sound barrier between the park and freeway would be good. read more

We planned our trip a year in advanced and researched websites for a fun family vacation. I want to be upfront and honest with people doing the same trip. This campsite/resort is nothing what the website says. The hot tub, walk up bar, pavilion, and theater were not open at all. There was no laser tag, foam party, arcade, or wagon rides. The amenities they did have mini golf, and Gaga ball were not open due to lack of staffing till 10:30 am. Water feature couldnt be turned on till 11 due to it being to noisy. (So the 7:30 am quiet time hours isn't accurate either) To top it off a staff member dumped a 4 gallon bucket of what we could only assume was chemicals in the pool with our children sitting right next to where he was dumping. The staff member never spoke up when we took our kids out of the pool due to the entire pool became like a white cloud. It would have calmed our nerves had he spoke up and said what he was doing, or put the substance in the pool at 8 am when the lobby opened and not at 10 am next to our children. Extremely disappointed with this facility and the price we had to pay. We won't be coming back to this resort every which is unfortunate because Jellystones are supposed to be a fun memorable vacation. read more

While I will admit that there were plenty of wonderful things for the kids to do, the variety of activities does not make up for the poor management and rudeness of the manager that we encountered. Charles was abrasive, inconsistent, and downright awful to deal with. We had a large group at Yogi Bear for a family reunion. We had heard great reviews from other campers who had stayed there previous years (under different management) and assumed that we would be treated with the same respect. What we found instead was that our booking rates were not honored, the pick-up and turn-in times for golf cart rentals had changed, and that in general, Charles was not willing to work to rectify the situation. Almost all of our 4th of July weekend cabin rentals were secured prior to February, and the rate that we were quoted in December or January was not honored if we did not prepay. We had carts rented to us that were later grabbed from our site without notice, and when we attempted to have Charles explain the situation, he refused, stating that he had "wasted three hours" trying to explain it on separate days to separate members of our party (who he had also treated poorly), even though his daughter, Kristine, had been the one trying to solve the problems we encountered. She was very polite, and although the problems persisted, she did listen to our plight with respect. Due to the inconsistencies in their rates, the unannounced changes to golf cart rental procedures, and the rudeness that we encountered from Charles, none of us will return to this campground. read more
