DONT GO HERE - we just spent five days there and the only thing our kids got out of this was a lesson in how people suck after someone stole my 10 year olds bike from our campsite. The normal Yogi activities are non-existent for this campground, that is unless you are part of the daycare they bus in from the local economy. Those kids get to use the water slide the promote (your kids DONT, but they can watch the daycare kids for no charge, which is surprising because they upcharge EVERYTHING!). The normal Yogi craft center and the staff are used for the daycare, so don't expect the crafts, the candy bar bingo, or anything for the kids for that matter. You can even WAY over pay for Wifi which is free in most places. This park is a complete sham and is NOT a true Yogi, its a daycare with real campers footing the bill and getting property stolen. read more

We stayed for 3 nights between Canada's 150th and July 5th. We had visited 9 years ago as brand-new RV owners and were looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, the campground we remembered had changed. We've visited a lot of campgrounds over the years, rarely staying in the same place twice. First, the positives: The kids enjoyed the playground and the basic swimming pool. The showers and bathrooms were clean. They had hot water, good water pressure, and doors that locked well. Now, the negatives: the posted rates are for two adults. Children are extra, $3 per day, per kid. Given that Jellystone bills itself as a "family campground," this seems excessive. But, the extra charges don't stop there. WiFi access is $5 for 3 days for 2 devices. A family of 6, with teenagers and mom in grad school meant paying $10 additional for internet access. Their website advertises a "State of the Art" and "Spectacular" mini-golf course. The website fails to mention that a single game is $3, or a day pass is $6, per person. They also mention a giant inflatable waterslide. They fail to mention (notice a trend?) that the slide is $10 for 8 rides, or $14.95 for a day pass. Lastly, they offer a shuttle to the Falls. But, again there's a fee. $7.00 per person, for ages 12 and up. Since parking at the Falls is around $20, this isn't exactly family friendly. Bottom line, for a family-friendly park, a family of 4 can expect to have additional costs of $68 per day. Of all the campgrounds we've been to, including Outer Banks, Cape Cod, and Disney, this was by far the most expensive. I felt nickel and dimed throughout our stay. For a park that earned the pinnacle award from Jellystone for excellent amenities, it appears they are transferring those costs to the consumers. We will not return - and will likely stay at the KOA nearby the next time we visit the area. read more

I guess this place is great if you have an RV and you are towing children/grandchildren. Kid friendly activities including mini-putt and Yogi bear themed rides and events. This place is not great if you're single/couple with no children hoping to camp in a tent. Why? Because the sites are literally one street away from a very busy freeway. Which makes it really hard to sleep. And the location of the site is like half a mile away from a Kia dealership and a somewhat residential area of homes and businesses. A little too close to civilization when you are sleeping in a plastic tent. read more

I'll give you the good, the bad and the ugly about this place. We stayed at Jellystone Niagara July 9, 2018 to July 13, 2018. THE GOOD: -This campground is only about a 10 - 15 minute drive to Niagara Falls. -The staff was nice to us and helpful. -The bathrooms look completely renovated and I was really impressed with how clean they were. THE BAD: -This campground will nickel-and-dime you for every little thing. Staying at a Jellystone campground is always more expensive than other places because there are so many activities included in the rates. Niagara's rates were comparable to other Jellystone campgrounds we have stayed at, yet they charge for every little activity on top of the higher rate of a Jellystone campground. Mini-golf is not included, the water slide is not included, etc. -There were many day campers here, and they always seemed to have priority with any activity. There were a couple times that a scheduled activity started earlier than posted and the day campers got to enjoy the activity and the people paying good money to camp here did not. -They advertise the pool is heated - I can tell you it is not. We stayed mid-summer and it was freezing cold. My 5 year old did not want to go swimming because the pool was so cold. -Didn't have a grill at our site. -The sites are the smallest I've ever seen at a campground. You pull into your site and when you open your vehicle door to step out, you are nearly in your neighbor's site. No exaggerating, it is that small. BTW we paid for a "premium site." THE UGLY - Speaking of ugly, this place is an absolute dump. First of all, the campground is adjacent to Modern Mosaic - a company that specializes in pre cast concrete. It reminded me of a rock quarry. We had a lovely view of a massive crane behind our camper. Take a look at Google Earth to really see what it's like. Dump trucks running all day, the constant beeps of the dump trucks reversing, construction guys screaming at each other all day, hammering and banging all day. Unbelievable. The reason why I am so upset with Jellystone Niagara is because I feel they are totally deceptive with the photographs they post on their website and brochure compared to what you will actually see when you camp here. -There are massive powerlines running through the middle of the park. I have to hand it to whoever took the photographs, they did an amazing job of hiding/disguising these huge eyesores. I took pictures of everything if anyone doesn't believe me about my complaints. -This is minor, but there are rows of double wide trailers making it look like a dumpy trailer park. -They have this gigantic bird cage slide thing at the playground that looks like it was built in the 80's and looks like the metal edges could easily cut someone. -On top of all this ugliness, Queen Elizabeth Way, which is a major highway, is literally about 50 yards from the front of the park. You will be listening to highway traffic all day. I could go on and on about how awful our experience was here. My guess is this place used to be a trailer park and was eventually retro-fitted to be a Jellystone Campground. If you are looking for peace and quiet and to be surrounded by nature then avoid this place at all costs! read more

Very nice clean campground in the Yogi Bear Jellystone tradition. However it's right off the Expressway and there is the constant drone of cars. That said, we would certainly recommend it to families with kids. Nice facilities including pool and rec hall for kids. About a mile or so from the downtown Niagara Falls area. There is a shuttle bus/van ($) so you don't need to drive and pay parking. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks Folks! read more

Relatively clean, fun for the kids and the shuttle to the falls is certainly convenient. The down side is the wifi and NO cable, but we used DVDs so it all worked out fine. Not bad for the money. 10% discount for good SAMs. read more

Upon making reservations we took a tour of this campground seemed nice.we were told the water slide cost money never was told about the extra stuff. When we booked we booked for 2 families our larger family in the ranger Smith cabin near the front also and smaller family to have a circled vinyled bare bones hut (said NOT the woodened ones pass the ranger Smith cabins) we also said to have them both next to each other right in front. Where we didnt need to bring a air mattress the woman said only the bedding for that one.That was available also we were told. We then called a week before our camping trip to see if those same exact spots were available 3 days later than on reservation. The woman at the site who answered said yes asked her 3 times. When we arrived what we were told and what we reserved was totally wrong we ended up in the last ranger Smith cabin in that front row and the smaller family was placed 3 sites away in a wooden beat up bare bones cabin with the screen door busted. Disgusting. The circled vinyl bare bones in the very front were already taken and so was the first few ranger Smith cabins. It was upsetting after going back and forth they were just gonna refund our money & kick us out. Being frustrated enough with the cost of everything everything basically cost money besides swimming in a not so clean pool & playground. This is the 4th location of a jellystone park we been too & the worst by far.they offered free mini golf for a day & mattress for the wooden bare boned cabin. Not getting what've originally booked & being upset & frustrated it was either go home or stay so I thought let's give it a chance hopefully the rest of the stay will be positive & smooth. This was for the kids and us as a family (We should of just left) Waterslide cost money mini golf, the pedal carts, even the shuffle to the falls etc. The hayride the squeeze a ton of people on & have to place your kids on your laps to fit more people on 1 hayride.it was tight. the owner who seems to live on the site.They dont sing like others jellystone park hayrides ranger Smith and yogi were not interactive at all boo boo was more entertaining that ranger Smith & yogi. Staff doesn't know songs to sing at all. My sister mentioned about songs a few times & just started to that is when the staff started to sing.When we addressed our concerns to owner, not a sorry or how can I make your stay any better. He complained about the taxes & cost for summer camp that he does get paid for and minimum wage that he has to pay his staff $15.00 a hr. Also that this isn't a country camp, it's a city camp.This camp this a waste of money & time. It's a much smaller a site.The thruway is right behind the cabins & sites which we didnt realize until after we got settled in the cabin & heard it all night long. The furnace for the ac in the cabin they say dont lower the temp no lower than 70 degrees or it will ice up. When we got in there it was already cooled down to 67 so we lefted it. Never iced up. Maybe the cost is why that they don't want it higher than 70. This isnt a real camping experience or enjoyable. My kids were bored very fast. During the egg hunt the kids were not allowed to touch the eggs that the staff had to pick up the eggs and open them which was completely dumb and cheap. it's a egg hunt never I ever heard of something like that.Egg hunts are so cheap and inexpensive. Take the drive to the states to north java jellystone park by Darien lake in NY. everything is free plus them have way more for families and kids to do. Like pedal carts,laser tag, jumping pillow, tennis and basketball courts, nature trail,mini golf, bounce house,a kiddie pool and a clean big pool a beach,waterpark, water bikes canoeing and few playgrounds plus much more. And its FREE! they do multiple hayrides & they sing and interact with family & kids. Also they don't squeeze you in their hayrides, they pick up your trash every morning. They have clean bathrooms & showers allot of themed activities every week, This is the worst go to. try north java,N.Y or toronto. Plus you have to pay per device and use for wifi $5.00 per day per device. read more

We really trust and rely on Jellystone reputation when we travel and this park met our high expectations. The only thing keeping it from a perfect score is pool closes by 8-9 is the norm and adults til 10 would be even better. I had locked in site 230 for its shade and beautiful willow trees. Many other sites were basically just open so the added expense is worth it to us. There is a $7 charge per person to shuttle to the Falls which was kind of pricey but worth it. Again, they close up shop on that too early as well with the last return trip from the falls at 6:15 pm so we miss out on seeing the falls at night and have to rush to get as much in during the day as possible. We played putt putt there too. It was adequate, but not as nice as the one on Clifton Hill at the Falls. Can't beat Jellystones for a clean and solid family campground; this one just needed longer hours. read more

This is by far the worst Jellystone we have ever stayed at! At first glance, when you pull in it does not look bad, but it goes down hill rapidly! The office staff is friendly when they hand you tiny squares of paper containing the additional costs for everything they have to offer at this campground. We booked a 50 amp preferred site as availability was limited when we booked. Very poor connection for our 30 amp usage, kept blowing the breaker. It is nothing more than a large parking lot with hookups. There is a huge power line running right through the entire campground and is the only thing you see when you look toward the front of the grounds. When you look to the right of the ground all you see is a huge crane at the lot next to the campground and there is a VERY NOISY highway on the right of the campground. None of this information was provided prior to the stay. We were up against a fence in the back. Sites are very small! How small you think? Well, small enough that our awning had to be put in every time we had a campfire! So small our truck could not stay on our site, we had to park it at the end of the road we were situated on. Most often when we stay at a Jellystone and pay between $51-$56 everything is included, not here! Waterslide is extra and they don't tell you that in advance. mini golf-extra cost; wi-fi-extra and connection is poor; 90-95% of activities- extra charge; shuttle into town- extra $7pp!!! Try the KOA, it is a little further away from the falls attractions but appears much nicer. Very disappointed with our accommodations for this trip. Look around and travel a bit further for the best options. read more
