HTR Niagara has everything you need for a great vacation experience. We visited for a family reunion and were so impressed with our accommodations. The cabin we stayed in was comfy for our family of 5 and included a full bathroom with shower. It is still a camping experience so while you have a sink and coffee maker, there is no indoor grill or microwave. Everything was clean. We utilized the outdoor grill and fire pit nightly. Quiet hours were from 10pm-8am I appreciated all of the space in the cabin and strong AC. My only complaint is our mattress was a little hard so it wasn't the best sleep I've had, but overall these are above average accommodations for a camp ground. We enjoyed the accessibility of the site. You could easily walk to all of the amenities. If you are seeking amenities and things to do HTR will have you covered. We enjoyed the pool, mini golf, laser tag, kayak rentals, craft making hours, pedal bikes, and trails during our 4 night stay. All of these activities were included! Our kids had a blast and had something to do all day. The staff were very kind and really made us feel welcome. We loved the location as it was very close to Niagara Falls and restaurants in the surrounding area when we didn't want to cook on the camp grill. Overall, very happy with our visit and would highly recommend if you are looking for a camping experience without the work. read more

Well organized and clean. lots of amenities and activities. particularly if you have kids. playground, pools, bike rentals (all free). sites are close but not on top of one another. it is more expensive than i am used to paying but that is due to location i imagine. about 10 min from the border. far enough from the interstate so noise isn't an issue. This is a very large campground with a variety of accommodations. Everything from a tent site, to a yurt, RV hook up, or cabins. We stayed in one of the four tent sites. Note-the tent sites didn't offer a ton of privacy, it was kind of open. It was very close to two bathrooms. It was very quiet. We were so impressed upon arrival. Everything was well marked and clean. The general store has a little bit of everything. The staff was helpful and friendly. They offered a lot of family friendly activities. We were there during their harvest festival weekend. They offered hay rides and cider and donuts by their bon fire the first night we were there. Almost all of their activities are included. They charge a fee for their zip lines. They offer free pedal bike usage alongwith boat usage. It is conveniently located to Niagara Falls. They offer late check-in and even check in for folks who don't have a reservation, if they have availability Saturday morning the store opened at 9 AM a little late for us since we were on the road by 845. We were hoping to buy acup of coffee (they have $2 K-cups). read more

We found them online and decided to give them a try. It was my first time camping and it was a great experience. I did reach out to them to inform them I would be arriving late and they gave us instructions to follow for after hours. The only thing that was had to follow were the signed. Over all the location was nice. The bathrooms were very clean. Both the electricity and water worked great. This place is great....looks like it could be better if we would have made it during summer. The pool and hot tub were closed bit still had alot to do. The kids loved everything especially the playground and bonfire they had. We were there for a Halloween weekend and it was great to see all the other family's and friends out there trick or treating. RV spaces had plenty of roo. And grounds were well kept. The bathrooms were super clean and in our top 5 of the vest we've seen. Only issue I had was that they cant charge the store items we baught to the card on file for the reservation we paid for, I had to run back and get money from our trailer. read more

We stayed here the end of August 2022 in site 103. It was very convenient that we booked the day of and were able to find a spot quickly. It was a good size for a 43' 5th-wheel, but due to the placement of the trees, it made backing in difficult and we would not recommend to anyone who is not seasoned at backing in a camper. They do offer some pull through sites, but they would need to be booked well in advanced. They did not show us to the site - they just pointed it out on the map. For such a large campground, this was irritating. They have many amenities for children that looked to be fun, but there were a lot of rules regarding them that was just downright confusing (e.g. the armbands for swimming). The camp is very large; however, the campsites are VERY cramped together. Campers would not have their pets on leashes which was very annoying. You also could hear the other campsites visitors comings/goings (entertainment/arguments) very clearly as well. For a 1-night stay, it was $140. It was not worth this price and we'd probably never go back. read more

Wasn't the best experience, but the options in the Niagara Falls area very are limited, and probably not the worst choice considering the horrible stories I read from other parks nearby. The park was clean, and for the most part, the staff was friendly, up until the cashier in the souvenir store accused my wife of not paying for a Christmas tree ornament of a travel trailer that I had paid for a few minutes prior. My wife was holding the ornament as we were leaving the store, and a woman blurts out in a condescending way, "excuse me, you have to pay for that". I suppose she was too busy stuffing her face to see that just minutes prior, standing 2 feet next to her, I had paid for it with the other cashier. As far as the RV site itself, nothing special, kinda tricky to get near the hookups and have the trailer on even ground and not have your door in dirt; kinda stingy with the gravel. The park itself had activities for young children, but seemed to allow the most ridiculous horseplay at the pools. There were a couple of families throwing a football type nerf ball around in such a wild fashion, that you had to clear out of the center of the pool, and hug the walls. Even though, I did get hit with it a few times. This caused 95% of the people to exit the pool, including myself, to keep from getting continuously splashed and hit with the ball. It was actually the parents throwing the ball and keeping the obnoxious behavior going, well after the kids were done, and it went on for hours. It seemed like the parents were so proud of themselves to be able to clear a pool, and keep anyone from entering. Keep in mind, in this park, you pay a mandatory "resort fee", which brings the cost up per day significantly. When we addressed the pool issue with the office, they said that they have staff that would prevent this type of activity from occurring, and they must have stepped away momentary; it went on for the whole 4 hours we were at the pool. The next day, the same families were doing the same thing, and although there was a pool attendant, she was young and too intimidated to say anything, so again the pool was unusable. Also, in the other lagoon pool, some unsavory characters had a cooler of beer next to them, drinking in the pool, with their boom box blasting their brand of music (not mine), so loudly, that it was certainly overheard by the astronauts on the ISS, and again, although clearly written in their "pool rules", it continued due to poor guest conduct, and lack of any common courtesy or supervision. I'm all for having fun, but in a community environment, if guests aren't able to conduct themselves accordingly, management should recognize such actions and intervene, especially when you're paying a "resort fee" to lay around a crappy out dated pool. One and done for this place, but again, slim pickings in this area. read more

Let me start by saying I am not a camper. I am going to be very descriptive for any other non-campers that may read this so you know what you're getting into. I have never done this before, but my friends really wanted to go camping. I said I would go only of we can go glamping; meaning I need beds, 4 walls, and a bathroom. They were like ok we'll figure something out. Eventually they said we were going to Branches of Niagara. We went this past weekend. The weather was perfect, but even better, the experience was perfect. We got there Friday evening. You check in at the registration building, they tell you where you are staying, and give you a ticket for each car staying on the camp grounds. The signage around the park is done well enough for you to not get lost. We were in a deluxe cabin which were closer to the back. There were 4 parking spots available and you can park on the grass if need be. When we got there, there was a nice size front area with grass, a fire pit, a table, and a grill. There's also a porch with a bench swing. Walking in, the temperature of the cabin was not too hot and not too cold. There is a room with a queen size bed, great lighting, and lots of sockets. One couple slept in there and said they had a great nights sleep both nights. The living room area had a table, 2 chairs, and a large leather futon. Another couple slept on that and was surprised on how comfortable it was. The kitchen included a table with chairs, microwave, keurig, fridge, a sink and shelving. The bathroom included a garbage can, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and a tub with a shower with water pressure and hot water that would make you forget you was out in the middle of nowhere . Upstairs included an open area with 3 cots (mattresses on a wooden pallet). They each included 2 mattress covers and there was a socket with a small table. They were also very comfortable to sleep on. The cabin also included air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a fireplace. We stayed Friday night, Saturday night, and left Sunday morning. Checkout was at 11am. Overall, my experience was AWESOME!!! The area was very clean. It was very relaxing. When passing other campers everyone was so friendly. We even made new friends during this trip. There are options to get an RV spot, tent areas, yurts (small areas to sleep in in the middle of the woods - at least that's my description lol), cabins with and without bathrooms. The ones without bathrooms are smaller and they provide a trailer within the area where you can do your business and shower. The area itself is clean and kept up. You can find staff riding around on go carts if you have a question. Closer to the registration area there is an activity area (they provide a list of activities available for the day), a basketball court, bikes and carts you can rent, zip lining, canoes and kayaks you can rent, a lake, 2 separate pools, kids playground, and chairs to lounge around in the sun in. There may be other things I didn't mention. Saturday we decided to have a BBQ and invited some of our friends. You are allowed to have guests during the day for $5/car. If kids are partaking in any of the activities such as the pool or anything, they must get wrist bands from the registration office. Overall, there were 6 of us and this was our 1st time at this location. We have officially decided this will be a yearly thing. I definitely recommend coming here. Especially if you are a first time glamper. You will need to bring grilling items and utensils, bedding (including a pillow), pods for the keurig, utensils, food, towels, and any other items to make yourself comfortable. They do have a lot if options to purchase items at the registration building if you are missing anything. Their weekends are all booked up until September, but they do have weekdays available. Branches of Niagara Campgrounds is a family-friendly RV park with many amenities like swimming, boating, fishing, bicycles, a zip line, laser tag and small cabins for rent and close by to Niagara Falls. The only problem was that most of these amenities are not open and available until after Memorial Day. When we booked our stay, the amenities were part of the draw, but needless to say, we were disappointed after arriving and especially surprised that we were charged the $65 per day charge even though those amenities were not available. Seasonal pricing should definitely be considered. We had already made the reservations, so we felt we had to stay despite these concerns. Our pull through campsite had complete hook-ups. The laundry and the shower/bathrooms were literally the cleanest and most well-kept of any other campground we have visited. Even though we wouldn't, you could "probably feel safe eating off of the floor." The staff were friendly and the little general store well stocked with basic needs. If you're making a reservations and expect the amenities, make sure you book your trip after Memorial Day and Before Labor Day. read more

The place is great for family fun; tons of kid activities (most are free of charge). The cabins are nice; the tent spaces aren't that big & they fill up quickly; when we arrived, there were no empty spots; glad they reserve by #'s. The boat rental keeps overselling/over booking so expect a little aggivation (don't reserve then change plans because you may not get one in the end, as they are always on demand). The bath & showers are not big or many so expect a wait on that but despite that they were nice and clean & campers were polite when waiting. They even had a communal laundry, kitchen sink and microwave to use if need be. I want to come back again for sure read more

We bring our own camper so I can't speak for cabins or bathrooms There was so much to do; daily craft, mini golf, playground, Gaga ball, pools, "beach" , fishing, outdoor movie night, zip lining, kayaks, peddle bikes, laser tag and probably more that I forgot. I'm tempted to knock down a star since many of the activities are at a high added price (ex. $15pp for zip line, $20 for kayak, $12pp laser tag). I prefer when a place does upfront packaging or all inclusive. read more

Was super easy to get in and out of our site and some how super close access to the highway yet didn't sound like it. Very family and kid friendly lots of things to do. This place is pretty unreal. We took our 3 kids on a 2 week roadtrip around the country in July and this was our furthest point from home (home being Arizona). Niagara Falls was a last minute add-on to the trip but was so worth it as my wife and kids had never seen it. This campground rounded out the visit well! Having the number of activities they have explains the high cost, as this was by far the most expensive campground on our trip (we stayed at about 8 over the 2 weeks). But it also was by far the nicest. Sites had ample room...not spread out like a state park, but not crammed in like a KOA. The sandboxes, playground, beach, pool, etc were all fantastic. Just a very well maintained facility. The cabins looked really cute...I'd totally consider them if we didn't have our camper. All in all I think it was worth the stop. If I was staying in the area for a week, I'd have to really consider the cost because it would add up, but on the other hand I guess you are getting resort style amenities while still getting to use your own camper, so there's something to be said for that. But definitely a 5-star establishment. read more

We stayed in a standard cabin and it was absolutely delightful! The cabin was big, clean, and we got to cook using a open fire. The views were amazing and the campground is very nice. I highly recommend this place especially if you're going to see the falls. It's really easy to get to the falls from the campground and it's away from all the hustle in town. This is a true resort with lots of amenities (even their own lake). The park is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I had to knock off one star because our 30Amp site was a very tight back-in within a grove of trees, another star because nothing was paved: all gravel which meant there was mud everywhere after the rainstorm that preceded our arrival. To be fair, in summertime the shady grove is probably a plus, but for us it precluded deploying our satellite dish. The park has a very convenient location just a few minutes from the Falls, and not far from the city. Overall, it was a good experience and I recommend! read more

We rented a cabin for a few days and had a great time. They had a ton of activities for our girls (ages 4 and 7). You can purchase an activity pass that includes everything and is well worth the price. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice and great with the kids. The cabin was super clean as were the community bathrooms. We will be back and would highly recommend the camp. read more

Branches of Niagara was three years old when we stayed there recently, and it is still in brand-new condition. The owners and the general manager who runs the place obviously care, and care a lot, about providing a first-class place to camp. There are plenty of things to do - canoeing, kayaking, fishing (catch & release only), a pool (though the pool is usually a tad crowded with kids), swimming in the lake, zip lining (two lines, a short one for under-12's and a much longer one for everyone else), miniature golf, arts and crafts for kids, and something I haven't seen since I was kid - a huge sand pile on which to play king of the mountain. There's a small laundry facility and restrooms with showers, both of which are well maintained and clean. Staff members roam the grounds regularly to empty the trash and recycling cans that are conveniently placed throughout the campgrounds. Camping can be done in cabins, in RV spaces with full hookups, or in tents. The thing that really amazed us about Branches of Niagara, however, was the serenity of the place. Even with loads of families and tons of kids, the place had a quiet ambiance (with the exception of the pool area) - you could pull up one of the Adirondack chairs placed around the lake, and just sit awhile, letting time while away in peaceful, restful contemplation. This is something I seldom do, yet felt myself drawn towards it, especially towards late afternoon and evening. Sunsets over the lake are amazing, birds of all sizes fly overhead, and most nights as it starts to get dark, you can be enchanted by fireflies (aka lightning bugs). read more

Wow! My Inlaws are campers and every year we spend a week somewhere. This place is beautiful! Hands down the nicest camp site I have been to. You could almost eat in the bathroom they are so clean- well at least walk barefoot!! They have a nice pond where you can swim, fish or rent a kayak or canoe. The pools look brand new and are gorgeous. They also have a lot to do for free. Root beer floats, crafts for the kids, animal groups come in for work shops. This is truly one of the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest parks around the Niagara Falls area on both of the sides of the falls. Staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The grounds are kept well groomed. Washrooms are clean and tidy. Plenty of garbage and recycle bins throughout the park and emptied throughout the day. Tons of activities to do for the kids. Lots of extra activities to do that don't require extra funds, eg.. miniature golf, hayrides, crafts, games, playground, large checkers, etc etc. In all my 50 some years of camping this is by far the nicest place I have been too. Great location-15 minutes from American Falls. Staff is friendly and professional, making check-in a breeze. The camp store is a cute, well-stocked and organized "camping boutique". Everything is brand new, modern, immaculately clean. Wish there were more trees, and maybe, in time, there will be. The pool is a lazy river, which makes for a relaxing pool deck. We are completing a 11 day camping trip at 3 different campground and this one was the best we have been to. Our 10 camping site was large with a separate parking space for our vehicle. We were right next to the bathroom and laundry facility which was top notch. I've never seen a campground bathroom this nice! That is a huge plus for us since we were in a tent. The pools and activity center were well maintained and there was plenty to do for my 3 kids ages 15, 12 and 4. I would definitely recommend this campground for anyone visiting Niagara Falls. I'd also like to commend the front desk employee Meredith who was friendly and knowledgeable. She checked us in on our first day and helped me the next day to find directions and recommend a restaurant. I was very pleased with our stay. read more

The campsite had plenty of room, nice pool, activities all day for the kids scheduled, or plenty of activities you could do not on the schedule, clean bath houses and a great little store at the front.
