We love Jellystone parks and have stayed at several. This one is really something else. We had a good shady site and loved having a cement pad and patio. There were lots of activities that my teenage kids took part in. The hubs and I also took part in a couple activities. We tend to keep to ourselves and I think that is what saved us from this place. It is so large and there are so many people in this place that the staff really has to crack down on non-paying customers. So much so that we saw a fight break out between staff and a family whose kid either lost or wasn't wearing his wristband. They were paid campers and it got to a level that it shouldn't have gotten to. I later read other reviews complaining of the the way the staff handles such situations, even when it is small children involved. The chaos level goes from 0 to completely bonkers in just a few seconds. There are A LOT of golf carts. Many are suped up and the owners insist on blaring their awful music as they roll through the grounds all hours of the day. That isn't management's fault, just an observation of the kind of people who stay there. I didn't go to the pool but my kids did. They said it was dirty and there was all kinds of stuff floating in the water. They probably could have made sweet bank selling black market wristbands with all the ones they found in the pool. The bathhouse. Oh lordt. Many, many campgrounds half the size of that one clean their restrooms and showers 2 times a day. This place should definitely start doing that, especially since the floors pool water from the showers. Shower shoes are not enough. Waders would be better. The laundry rooms need help, too. 3 washers and 3 dryers in the one near the front of the campgrounds. Out of order signs on 1 w and 1 d. I watched a woman try to put quarters in one of the "working" dryers and the slot looked bent and unless she jammed the quarter in, it wouldn't go. Then, when she decided that wasn't normal and didn't want to try her luck, it wouldn't give her money back when she pushed the coin return button. That's when I decided I don't mind doing a couple extra loads of laundry when I got home a couple days later. Oh... and no change machine. I walked up to the ranger station for quarters and the guy was a little bewildered when I asked for $3 in quarters. My family had a good time but I seriously doubt we will be back. I would only recommend staying there to friends who I know have strong ties to and are exceptionally comfortable with the redneck, diehard tailgating, and rebel rousing communities. read more

Coming to Yogi Bear Ghetto-Stone Park was a grand Boo Boo. It's a dump!!! Everything is run down. All I ask is a piece of level ground and working utilities. The cement slabs are in shambles; the water was turned off "camp-wide" over night and power went down at 5:30 am. The laundry had plenty of "out of order" signs for all the machines. Rented a cabin on super soaker weekend June 2022. Our cabin was downgraded twice before arrival. Cabin had roaches as well as what seemed to be bed bugs. Front desk Staff denied it and were not friendly. Other guests also partying until 2 am and staff did not listen to multiple complaints. Cabin also did not having running water for most of the night. This campground is absolutely enormous. Amazing deal at only $10.00/night through RPI. There are multiple pools and several small lakes. Our full hookup pull through concrete pad (wow!) site was comfortable. Men's restroom closest to the volleyball & kids play area needed more attention. A large pool of water near the showers was not cleaned up, and the garbage can was not emptied during our 5 day stay. Campground gives "Hey" wagon rides for kids & their families on the weekends. They also showed the LSU football game live on a projection TV in the recreation center. This was a nice gesture for local fans and the event was well attended. Our Verizon hotspot wifi was extremely slow. Staff members Doreen and Kerri were kind and welcoming. The store also offered 50% off all clothing - what a deal! read more

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of one is because of the multiple activities they have for kids throughout the day like t shirt dying, coloring a pillow case, and bingo! The prices are relatively cheap for food and drinks around the pool also - thank gosh. Where do I began to start!!!! The place was a DISASTER!!! Very filthy the staff was very friendly and helpful but the place needs to be shut down for cleaning and renovation... in my cabin which was CT3 had trash under the mattress, dirty stove, mold on the ceilings in the bathroom, the floors were filthy, cobwebs EVERY WHERE!! The place smell as tho mold is inside the wall. Bugs yes BUGS crawling on the beds not sure if they were bed bugs because I have never experienced that before. Long story short my family didn't stay we left the same day went back the very next morning and got a full refund. Spoke to the owner Mr. Leblanc whom was very defensive and seemed upset because I complained but quickly humbled himself once I told him I had Videos and Pics!!!! Oh and the pools omg ring around the pools dirty water no chlorine in it trash weave socks rocks you name it it was in the pool, Don't waste your time or money.... your health is way more important read more

My family stayed at the Yogi Bear Jelly Stone cabins September 2021. When we arrived home, we awoke to over 50 bed bugs bites all over our bodies. We have over 3,000$ in damages. Today is day 8 since I've contacted them and have not heard back from the corporate office. We had an exterminator come out and that is a 1500$ bill. My doctor put me on an oral steroid due to the severity of bites. We have lots of photos, it's been an awful situation. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING IN THEIR CABINS. They are filthy. They tried telling me it could be spiders but wr have the dead bed bug is a bag as evidence. Will be suing them. read more

I was debating on whether I should write a review on this place because I'm embarrassed I even visited. About 25 years ago my Honey said he visited this place as a kid and IT WAS REALLY FUN!! So he books a cabin for a couple days last week. We arrive. I immediately check out before we check in. If it wasn't for my honey's nostalgic travel plans, I would've ruined the whole mood and told him exactly how unacceptable this place was. I spent the majority of our check in day bleaching the floors and trying really hard to cut the urine and whatever smell they had going on in there. It was horrible!! We spent much time devising a plan on what to touch and how to touch anything in that room. I think I spent more time in the ranger station, dollar general and Roberts supermarket than the park. After speaking to the clerks there we've come to the conclusion that the vision died with Maurice. The clerks explained the insurance and floods turned this park to crap which makes sense bc it was definitely a crappy place. The kiddie splash pad was filthy. Putt putt was blah. Fishing was pointless. Canoeing and kayak pond was swampy and the ends were full of trash. Oh per park rules, don't put holes in the canoes. Every charged event was severely over priced. $20 to paint a bear is absurd. The blades needed to be changed in the snowball machine. The only redeeming parts was the pools, $1 bingo and there's a full size fridge. Popeyes is 9 miles away so that's good too. Oh and the water slide was interesting only because there was nothing else to do, so we pour more money into the dying facility. We lots of time riding around so he can show me where things once were. Oh the a/c had a mind of its own. One morning we woke up to 63 degrees but the a/c that was set at 71 degrees. One night the heater kicked on in our room. Dining bench was outside and there were flies everywhere!! Funny funny. read more

It's not a five- star resort but it's something your kids will enjoy and remember fondly when they're older. We've been several times and always had fun. They've remodeled several of the cabins since it flooded a while ago, and everything is clean and livable. They got rid of the food hut and the arcade, but otherwise, it's the same old Jellystone. It's camping, so don't expect turn down service. But you definitely can have fun and make some great memories here. read more

Yogi in Robert, LA has gone straight down from when we used to go there. Cabins are NOT maintained. Cindy Cafe burnt down so no place to get anything but snacks, loved Cafe. Don't understand why Yogi allows them to use trademark. Nothing but a year round RV park with some cabins. Doesn't deserve to be called by Yogi name. Very few maintenance done, very trashy. Trails are littered so bad, needs big overhaul. Mold on ceiling in bathroom, blinds broken and wrapped around top, tiles on floor coming up in many places. Yogi on the Lake in Mississippi gets a 10+. read more

Owners are idiots to think they can keep this going.. Food stand by the pool has sweet ladies but there cabinets are falling apart and you can see how moldy everything is in there, Miranda was serving me and the cabinet fell off the hinges. Poor kids have no AC in game room.. The maintenance guys think duct tape fixes it all, fire them all and get 2-3 real workers to improve this place. Some great times can be had at this place but the owners don't want to spend a penny it seems... Employees were super friendly and helpful, if they didn't know the answer they got on the phone to find out the answer right away. First off, let me say my daughters love the place. They love the atmosphere, playground, pools, put put, water slide and other activities. The main plus about this park is that the majority of activities are inclusive. So my kids can play put put golf all-day everyday. However, at $65 dollars a night, I would like to see a little improvement every now and then to the park's infrastructure. Maybe I have blinders on but Yogi Bear seems to look the same for the last 15 years. Add a section of paved road here and there, redo the cement pad at one site a month or beef up the electrical system on some sites. (Some sites trip in Summer with out using the site's full amperage) But I must say, the staff is nice and will help you out. This park by far has the most daily activities of any park I've been to. Everyone who comes here seems to be enjoying themselves. Super soaker weekend is a blast. Bands and DJ's are a plus on the weekends. Almost every weekend in October is Halloween so everyone has a chance to get into the park and trick or treat or decorate. The pools are about the right size. They don't get too crowded. Overall, the park is nice and we come 3-6 times a year. Don't let the negatives I've pointed out deter you from coming to Yogi. None of them make your stay miserable. Park was decent with lots of activities for the kiddos. Lots of space between campsites, full hookups, easy access, plenty of room for vehicle. Bath house was clean. Water in shower backed up several inches. People driving golf carts were obnoxious. Drinking, driving too fast, some blasting music. To the lady who complained about the bugs...Really? You are camping, in the south no less. If you don't want bugs go to hotel. I used Skin So Soft and a bug candle and had no problem. 3stars only because if carts and loud music from pavilion. We camp here often its a great place to bring the kids. They have so many activities my child always has something to do. On weekends the have a D.J. Or bands at the yogi dome which is always fun. Yes the park can use some updating like a new play set in the members section and next to the back bathhouse. They did get a new play set for the main play area in the front next to the Rec center. The bathhouses are in great shape and were very clean last weekend but it wasn't that busy. In the middle of summer when the park is full the do have a lot to golf carts riding in the park but that never bothered me and we never had any problems with this in the past. We own a camper so don't stay in the cabins now a days but we have in the past and never had ant bad experience with them. My husband and I have been coming to this park since we were kids. We are thinking about becoming members. But they really need to update the 2 playgrounds and are broken. Love ya. read more

Stopped here on our way to Florida on Christmas day. Had made a reservation with an assigned site only to have someone in the site when we arrived. The office was closed due to the holiday so we found another site. Strolled around the park and surprised at the poor upkeep and maintenance. Roads need to be repaved, sites in poor condition, splashpad area seriously needing resurfacing. Yes, it's off season but the issues I'm talking about didn't happen recently, they appear to be from a long time of neglect. I would not recommend this campground and would not bring my family and grandkids here. read more

Although there is some structural repairs that need to happen. I love camping here! There's nothing like being out in the trees and fresh air. There are always fun activities the young rangers plan for my 7 year old to do. There's bike trails and gravel roads. I've witnessed that Yogi doesn't put up with too much riff raff. In turn the campers here are usually friendly and sociable. There's a small lake where you can borrow canoes and kayaks. As well as pools at each end of the park. I've been camping here since the early 90's as a kid and look forward to many more years ahead! read more

First off - we got ripped off!!! This is suppose to be a family park - the rangers are watching for children driving the golf carts - but, they definitely are watching for the thieves - they stole our yeti along with two others on Friday night - we went around the campground looking for it & warning other campers & one of the campers said they were warned at the front office that they had been stealing them in the past few weeks - it sure would have been nice of them to warn all off us - the fact they make everyone shut everything the night they were stolen & not the following tells me it might be an inside job - because we ran around the campground till 3:00 am the next night & no one stopped us - like they did on Friday Lock up you yeti if you camp here read more

Nothing new has changed, I have come here ever since I was little. The cabins are okay, the food is disappointing. Instead of rebuilding the cafe they turned it into a pavilion which is great for the pool, but they have no where to get food except for concessions. The fountain is FINALLY working in the put-put area, although they do not sanitize the balls at all. They got rid of the arcade which is upsetting but understandable. The snowballs are quite chunky and we had to clean up the mess around the cup which was pooring of syrup. The kiddie area isn't great, all they do is repaint stuff instead of actually fixing it. This is the worst yogi bear I have ever been to, and they either need to shut this place down or give it to new owners. They have been having the same workers and owners, the owners kids work there which says a lot about the place. It's more a family business then a national chain campground. Although their merchandise is pretty good. read more

Booked two of the cabins with the private pools at this place for a retreat in august. Entire site was poorly taken care of. The restaurant that was in the brochure seems to have burned down. The office was closed despite it being prime season. The mattresses reminded me of youth camps as a teenager. They are glorified box springs really. The rooms were dirty and the private pool was locked. We called for someone to open it. Called a number of times actually. After a few hours, still no one had opened it so we decided to just climb over the short gate. When the man finally came to open the gate, he threatened to have us arrested for trespassing. This campground is very over priced and needs to be updated. For the price they charge for tent and camper spots, this place certainly receives the income to make the updates needed. If I would've paid a third of the price I would've been satisfied with the quality. The bath houses were gross - I expected towel service for the price of a tent spot. The water pressure and hot water, even at the sites, was very poor. We had a great weekend but that was due to the family and friends we were there to spend time with. We stayed here in the peite Louisiana Lodge let me start with the staff are not very friendly. Second when you come threw the gate there is a water slide that is not included in admission price it's 5$ a hour, 12$ a day, or 32 a weekend. They wouldn't let you were a T-shirt over your swim suit, the pools were dirty and hot like bath water, the slide on the kiddie pool had mold the put put was in serious disrepair. The lodge we stayed at was dirty, the beds uncomfortable and no pillows. The golf carts were terrible running cars off the road. And at 95$ a day for a golf cart the room was not worth the 150 we paid. I will say my daughter had a good time but she is two and just enjoyed playing. read more

ok first of all. if y'all are complaining about this park u don't like camping. i have been going to this park for so many years and i enjoy the hell out of it. they have several different activities. they have a art center, you have 2 ponds to fish in, a river to fish in, a basketball hoop, a softball field, a pond to canoe in, a park with slides, a splash park, a kiddy/kid pool with a splash area in it, 2 4-7' pools, a mini gulf course, cabins, and a picnic area. they have so much more to the place. (shower & laundry mats) they even have snowballs! it overal an amazing place. yes bring ur own bedding. what's so bad about that. you don't stay in bed all day. you go outside and enjoy the weather and the music. you can bring a gulfcart and ride around. for the kids stuck up their phone they have wifi. have a great time. if you don't like it simply don't go again. i always loved it as a toddler and as a teen i still love it and would go there every weekend over anything. read more

Two days after the flooding, they said they had the cabins cleaned and operational, but I told them I would just take the refund, less the $25 cancellation fee. Now, bear in mind that nothing was ever refunded and I also had booked another weekend cabin a month down the line. Two weeks later, I receive an email that all reservations have been cancelled and no refunds will be issued as they sustained damages from the flooding. Well, two days after the flooding they were operational and I have seen other posts here claiming that they were told the same thing. The owner, Maurice, could do nothing but yell at me over the phone. It has now been 4 months (YES, 4 MONTHS!!!) of repeated phone calls and emails, a letter to corporate, and even an unanswered BBB complaint. Went for a weekend with our family, and it is not the Jellystone I remember taking my kids to years ago. My inlaws paid $170 a night for the "Louisiana Lodge" we stayed in. About the only thing I can say positive about it was the a/c worked good, which from what I heard from other campers nearby, we were lucky to have. Theirs was either stuck so cold they couldn't stand it or wasn't working well at all. The place needs a serious deep cleaning and repair. The cabin is supposed to sleep 6, but they give you 4 chairs and a table that isn't big enough for 4 to eat on, and one of the chairs was broken. The beds were horrible, and the slats were either missing or broken on one of them, so you slept in a hole. Terribly uncomfortable! The stove eyes were all crooked because they didn't bother to buy the right drip pans that would allow the elements to sit flat in them. So cooking anything with oil or liquid was a hazard on it. Tiny amount of counter space, which was completely taken up with the microwave, so you have to rearrange the whole kitchen area just to wash and drain your dishes. The whole cabin smelled moldy and sour. The pool area by our cabin was all right, but the main pool area up front was gross with algae growing on the decks around the pools, and very slippery. The wading pool by the splash pad, the one for the smallest kids, was horrible and smelled aweful! I wouldn't even attempt to go paddle boating or canoeing after realizing there was a modad for the septic sitting on the side of the "pond" for those activities. Pretty sure from the smell and the scum on the water that the sewer from the campground goes into that pond, and as old as this campground is, I have to wonder if they all even have modad systems on them. Everything is faded, broken, stinky, and outdated. I didn't feel like I'd been camping in the great outdoors, but more like I'd just toured a sewage plant and survived! The little kids enjoyed it, but I don't think they understood that gross was a bad thing lol. This place definitely needs to be serviced and cleaned before we think about risking a stay there again. read more

What a dump.Cajun Chalet was dirty, had one saucepan and one frying pan, a toaster that did not work, a fridge that leaked water continuously, broken blinds, a toilet that rocked dangerously forward, and made loud , weird noises when flushed.Trash cans that are not emptied in main areas, except nightly by raccoons.Dirty diapers lay on the ground outside the trash can for three days.We paid for an extra person in our cabin but apparently this didn't mean a mattress would be provided for them.The beds are awful, lumpy, lumpy and lumpy.The main pool area was very dirty, cracked , peeling paint and just run down.The kayaks can't be taken out in the evenings, only up till 2pm.Definitly not run for the enjoyment of guests, in fact it felt like the guests were all a pain in the neck for them to deal with.Definitly will not go back.Needs an injection of upgrades, a power washing at the very minimun and some enthusiasm. read more
