Employees are just hanging out on their phones in the A/C wiping tables are you telling me your hourly rate is not enough for those simple tasks. A friend of mine suggested we stop here after we had breakfast at Biscuit Belly on Thurs. April 20. I had not been here before and now I love this place! There were so many choices and combinations for a yogurt snack! The young lady who worked there was very patient and professional because I had quite a few questions! She was a sweetheart! It was a warm (a little too warm) and windy day so we sat outside under one of their umbrellas. There were friends and family seated inside that were having a good time! The yogurt is very good and you have plenty of flavors and toppings to choose from. The lobby was clean for the most part. I have 3 stars because this is a self serve yogurt place, yet they have tip jars set up on the counter and you have to select an option for a tip when you run a card. Why are you asking me to tip a cashier that stands behind the counter and does nothing?? I did not tip and the cashier was offended and rude!! I was running errands in Jones Valley when I spotted Yogurt Mountain. I've been to a Yogurt Mountain in Birmingham and didn't know we had one in Huntsville, so I had to stop by. This location was a little bit smaller than the one in Birmingham but it wasn't extremely crowded so I didn't mind. The staff was very polite and offered little cups so I could sample each flavor. I wound up picking the salted caramel and cheesecake flavors. The salted caramel was out of this world! The cheesecake flavor tasted more like vanilla with a hint of cheesecake. Like any other yogurt place, Yogurt Mountain has tons of toppings. I really liked the little cheesecake bites and fresh fruit that was provided. Everything was very fresh and I appreciated seeing one of the employees checking the temperature of the fruit toppings. My only gripes about any frozen yogurt place is that 1) I like actual ice cream better and 2) it can get expensive really quick once you add those toppings. That's just me being picky though. I've been here twice now and both times it's been pretty good; very run of the mill make your own yogurt or ice cream place, IMO. There are a ton of topping options, including strawberries without syrup, which I appreciated. There were a lot of flavors of yogurt as well, but many were very sweet, too sweet for my taste. Fortunately, they also had a no sugar added vanilla. Location makes this a place I'll go back to, but by itself there isn't anything to differentiate from all the other similar places. read more

Good flavor selections (they have the tart yogurts, plain and blueberry) and a good variety of toppings, but I personally would prefer just a little more fresh fruit. The lady working the counter was nice and they had a lot of toppings available for me and anyone else eating there to choose from. Self serve frozen yogurt with plenty of flavors and too many toppings to choose from. The staff are friendly and it's usually pretty clean. A couple times they have been out of certain toppings, but it seems they just haven't been able to re-stock after a rush. It's nice they stay open late (11pm), especially in the summer and have a bike rack out front for a late night 'healthy' sugar fix. read more

This is a fun yogurt place where everyone gets to pour and dress their own creations. Its easy, especially for the kids, to overdo it, haha. There sure are a lot fo topping options! However, it makes for a fun and interactive dessert. Some yogurts are made sugar-free, which is a plus. read more
