The restaurant is very small and tables are crammed in there. We had quick and friendly service. It was very warm inside the restaurant and because of that ordering noodle soup just seemed off. So we decided to order sushi, pad Thai, and dumplings. Two of the soup dumplings had burst before we got it. The sushi was okay but not cold like I think it should be. Fantastic. Seriously, worth ordering again. The fried rice? Yikes. Zero flavor, no seasoning, just... bland. Honestly one of the worst fried rices I've ever had from a restaurant (1/5). Absolutely love this place and the staff! It is a little smaller so does get packed easily quick makes sense cause their food and service is so great. Had their rolls and ramen and appetizers before and haven't had one complaint. Also always get a regular milk tea boba to go and that is the best. Also love the aesthetics makes me feel like I'm back in the 90s and 2000s. Tucked away in a strip center we had low expectations. Hubs was excited when they brought over warmed peanuts. Being a Pho fan he ordered their noodle soup. It looked and tasted wonderful. We also had sushi and edamame that was good as well. The service was great and we were checked on regularly. Felt like we were sitting in a kids place, 3 large screen TVs with a Japanese cartoon playing on one, Sponge Bob and the Flintstones playing on the others. Got the spicy edamame, Fire Roll and Lobster Roll...all were fair at best, tasteless and no real spice or fire. There is no salad and only serve miso soup. So the food is presented beautifully, but there is something about the taste I just can't figure out. For me way too sweet. Everything marked spicy is not spicy a bit, but everything is a bit oily (greasy) that I felt like I needed to constantly clean my face. It is definitely a fusion, but definitely not authentic to any culture specifically. Dumplings undercooked (too firm) the wonton soup no flavor at all - I have had my share of authentic Pho and this is an American version of dishes that could come across more authentic. The Sesame Chicken so sweet if you are diabetic please only eat 3 bites - let's not mention the fried rice I think they were serving a very young child with the amount that was provided. But this is a chain, so you should expect close to but not authentic food. Again, food was good - but nothing exceptional or over the top - missing lots of flavors from the country(s) they should derive from. We will try it again and update this review - Wrap up - we tried: Sesame Chicken, Spicy Cucumbers, Spicy Wontons (very greasy not spicy), Spicy Pork Dumplings (very greasy not spicy), Wonton Noodle Soup (missing so much flavor), Crab Rangoon (99% cream cheese) Jalapeño Bombs (very not so ok - or spicy and way too much cream cheese) Like I stated above we will try this place again - and hope for a more authentic experience read more

I was so excited to find out that there was a fun noodle bar in Weatherford, Texas. My husband and I have been there twice. My husband had chicken Ramen and I had pet Thai noodle for the second time. We were extremely disappointed in this location. Had the traditional ramen but the spicy version. It wasn't even kind of spicy it was delicious though. Noodles definitely thicker than I prefer but my brother and his gf who joined me are military and said that it was 100% authentic and the size they were traditionally. Weatherford has always had more Asian choices than one may expect... unfortunately that does not mean they were GOOD choices. I'm glad to see that with the addition of Fun Noodle Bar and Bobacane that this is changing! I have eaten at and reviewed both the Abilene and Lubbock Fun locations and was impressed at each. I was so excited when I saw that we might be getting one here in town. After a year of waiting, and at one time being told the project had been scrapped, I was surprised and delighted when the Weatherford location finally opened. (Weatherford is a quiet town... it doesn't take much to get us excited) I went on opening day, and have been at least five times in the month since they opened. The food is incredible. The dumplings and ramen are far superior to anything else in Parker County, and on par with anything I have had in the Metroplex. I have not had much of the sushi, but looks good. The only dish I would not recommend is the beef Choishu Noodles, which were too salty. The service is fast and attentive. Even when they have been busy, I've never had to wait for a table. The staff is knowledgeable and seems to be having a good time working, while sincerely trying to provide a good customer experience. The atmosphere is a little hectic and noisy, but I like the decor and the window into the kitchen where you can watch the staff hand pulling and tossing the noodles. You know it's a good ramen place when the staff are wearing T-shirts with Naruto eating ramen. The noodles are freshly hand pulled. They have a good chew and springy-ness to them. I had the Tonkotsu ramen with chasu pork. It was good but I had hope for more umami pork flavor. My mom had their wonton noodle soup. She liked the broth and noodles but said the wontons were gummy. We also got a pot stickers and beef baos. The beef baos were our favorite. The staff were nice and checked on us often. The restaurant had plenty of seating. Everyone seems to enjoy their food.
