My first self serve froyo since the pandemic and it's nice to see they figured out how to do it safely. A place with rotating flavors, being able to sample them is part of the experience. In the area where you get your cup size of choice, gloves were provided as well as sample cups. We were able to serve ourselves and safely taste any flavor we wanted. If a glove got messy, ya just put on a new one. Everyone in the store was abiding by the rules and things went smoothly. Felt very safe to me on top of mask rule still in effect. In California we haven't figured out that this can work. Here, it was a nice treat and an enjoyable experience. Just as I remembered Yogurtland to be. It has been a while since my last visit, so I didn't realize how the price per ounce has increased. Be careful as you fill your cup. My $8 yogurt was delicious!

They have a clean and simple interior. I like being able to sample the flavors before choosing. With so many flavor options they can satisfy anyone. There are good options for kids and also options for older folks. They have a wide variety of toppings. These can also satisfy anyone. There are fruit toppings and candy toppings and syrups. Sweetened condensed milk. Walnut. Marshmallow fluff. Oreo. Pretzel. Cereal. Mochi. Gummy worms. M&m. So many options. You weigh how much you get and it is a price per ounce. Always delicious!

The toppings were fresh plenty of cups for samples the area was clean the staff was friendly not over bothersome they allowed you to make your yogurt in peace. When I was there we were the only customers so that made it ultra comfortable being that we had the place to ourselves but it looks like a nice area to relax and enjoy yogurt I have the purple yam yogurt with cheese cake on top and for toppings I had strawberries and blueberries. All were fresh and delicious.

To be honest their frozen yogurt is the best in town. Specially the plain tart. Unfortunally our last visit wasn't very pleasant, our baby dropped his spoon and my wife asked at the counter if she could please have another one. Cashier disrespecfully replied that she couldn't give her one more. Unbelievable! I work in the food industry and I take customers feedback very serious in order to keep a great reputation. Hope this can help managment/owner. Also the whole place is dirty and seems like the employees just don't care about it. They have lost a loyal customers who has been here every week for the last couple of years. Poor poor customer service.

Didn't even know a 4th Yogurtland location popped up in Chandler (thanks Melissa W.) I wanted to try the new lychee fro yo flavor but guess this store wasn't ready for that. They did have 14 of their 16 flavors up which offered: Vanilla Wafer Cookies & Cream Dutch Chocolate Coffee (yummy!) Peanut Butter Fresh Strawberry NY Cheesecake Pistachio Double Cookies & Cream Red Velvet Cupcake Batter Chocolate twilight Matcha Green Tea (taste like the real deal) Taro Plain tart Pineapple tart The good: - awesome service (handing me a sample cups & giving me the fro yo 101) - employees were always running around trying to keep the store nice & tidy (unlike the Tempe store) - nutritional facts & ingredients are listed for each flavor on their website The bad: - Cost is $0.37/ oz here vs $0.30 at the Tempe store - candy bar chopping were a little sloppy - some fruits (lychee & mango) looked a little old. I'm guessing once they have higher turnovers that shouldn't be a problem (only opened for 2 1/2 wks)

Have seen the advertising for this place and we decided to come for dessert after dinner elsewhere…read more Was excited and all of had previewed the menu prior to coming in. The shop itself is clean and cutely decorated. Love the story of how this fun concept was created and learned that they are franchised in several other states as well. Staffing was young people, friendly and smiling as we took our time to order...even though we had previewed the menu, you always have to take time to reread everything once in the store! Three of us are banana fiends and as soon as one of us ordered the Bananas Foster, we were told they didn't have any bananas. One of the young men shared that they had been out of them for a few days and when their order was delivered the day before, still no bananas. After noticing that there are four or five different options that use bananas, it was odd that the crew didn't figure out another way to get bananas. One of our group said aloud, "wonder about getting some petty cash out of the till and going over to the supermarket to purchase some?" No response, just a repeat that we wouldn't be able to order anything that had bananas in it. Ok, so I am a big strawberry/banana fan and I had to pivot and ended up ordering a chocolate malt. Two others also order the chocolate malt, and I'm glad they got theirs first because they both said it didn't taste like malt was in it, just chocolate. I asked for a double scoop of malt in mine and the outcome was perfect with a nice malt flavor. So if ordering the malt, go for double scoop! Wife had the Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae and she enjoyed it. She said the vanilla ice cream had a great, strong vanilla flavor and although the hot fudge wasn't "hot", it was a good dish she said. We had one other situation occur while there: One friend had ordered a malt without whip cream. The young man making it squirted a ton of whip cream on the top and when she reminded him no whip, he took his gloved hand and removed the whip cream from the top of the drink, put the lid on and called it good. What???? And then I also had sad no whip and as mine was being made, a squirt of whip was added and when he realized it was no whip, he used the lid of the container to remove the tad of whip from the top. What??? These two situations along with the banana fiasco equates to a three star rating from me. Overall it was a fun experience but obviously the crew could use some additional training as well as figuring out how to go around the system when something as important as bananas aren't in your order. Go buy some from the store!

Definitely was wanting ice cream. Many yummy flavors to choose from. They have several sugar cones & waffle cone sizes. Did a medium chocolate & peanut dipped waffle cone with Butter Pecan & Cookie Dough. Delicious, creamy, smooth & velvety. Lots of chunks of pecan & cookie dough throughout as well. Making fresh hand made ice cream daily! Tons of options from milk shakes, banana splits, sundaes, brownie sundaes, hurricanes, ice cream sandwiches, Handel pops, frozen dipped bananas to "of course" their ice cream! They rotate daily flavors to feature local favorites & seasonal specialties year round. The history & story of this business started back in 1945. Can just see Mrs. Handel's at her husband's gas station window selling her ice cream with fresh strawberries from her garden. Ohio born business that's expanded to over 175 locations in 20 states should say something about growth in churning & not changing the recipe of quality homemade goodness. Note-Handel's has a secret menu. Can vary by location, but if you google their website; check to see what specific off-menu items they are promoting! Offer Pint Perks & Deals plus sorbets & gluten free sorbets. *In response to the business owner: I stated varies by location & mentioned to google it (as you may want to as well). It does exist, so whether it's a new trend or its locations creating their own signature blends-it's definitely out there! Instagram features a few also..* Only downside: Nearly almost $20 for two medium waffle cones. Get that they stack it generously, but that's steep! Ice cream can melt quick, so get a lot of napkins & you gotta eat it fast. Not much seating outside and non indoors. Saw many LARGE active cockroaches on the concrete around ALL of the retail businesses. *In response to the business owner that went from 4 to 3 stars. We were having our ice cream on one of the very "few" outdoor business benches & clearly know what we saw/experienced while trying to enjoy our ice cream cones! Could be a possibility about the "creatures" you spoke of (that generally migrate around aquatic areas). However, they would have been mixed in with the crickets & yes many colossal cockroaches too! I do not appreciate the dismissive reply & with that- we will not be returning to this location.
