Clean and so many flavors to choose from.

My family love this place! The owner and his son are very sweet and friendly. Always clean and tons of room & parking. My younger ones love to make their own froyo and this place has a ton of fresh topping choices. Me and my older kiddos love their bubble teas and best boba in town. Bobas never freezes and stays chewy throughout the time of drinking out drink. They also have Italian sodas and chafed ice perfect for summer! Highly recommend Yogurt works, definitely a must during the hot summer! Our family's go to spot.

The toasted coconut frozen yogurt is so delicious!

I have been here on a number of occasions in the past two years. The best thing about this place is that they are open late (10PM), and I always have a craving for something sweet later in the evening. They have a good selection of flavors, Im lactose intolerant and would like more dairy free options, but I wont be picky. They have one of the larger selections of toppings in town. Lots of my favorites like popping boba, mochi and fresh fruit. The shop is bright and airy. They have lots of seating and its always really clean inside. The prices are comparable to any other froyo shop in town. The biggest difference is that they offer divider - a great solution for anyone sharing.

    Smoothie with boba

I usually get the yogurt with toppings, but this time I ordered a smoothie with boba. It looked so good, but when I tasted it, it tasted like NOTHING! It looked like a strawberry mango smoothie, but it literally tasted like nothing. Also, the boba was not very chewy and tasted very stale. I was so disappointed because I drove off before tasting it and didn't have time to turn around to get a refund. I expected better than my flavorless smoothie because the yogurt and service here is wonderful.

We came last Friday, around 4:30 pm. We were greeted by an employee behind the counter. When we came in, I was surprised that there was no poke to see behind the display case. I had asked the employee if they were out of poke and she said no she has to make it. That disappointed me because true poke is marinaded in a sauce that one makes and not just having sauce dumped on top of it and served to you. But since we were already here, we decided to order the following: Shoyu Poke Bowl, $15- Served in a small styrofoam square container, a portion of poke, a large scoop of rice and about 6 edamame (in the pod). The shoyu poke was rather very salty and the rice was hard and served at room temperature. It is most likely that white rice was old. Hawaiian Poke Bowl, $15- Also served in a square styrofoam container, the poke is served with a large scoop of white rice that was also hard and at room temperature. And not surprised, but the poke was also very salty too. ---------------------------- (Total= $30) Very disappointed with the level of service and the food. Not worth the price we paid and am sad to say this was probably one of the worse poke that I have ever had. I would never come back here.

I ordered online and arrived at the scheduled time. The boy at the register seemed confused when I said I was picking up an online order. He asked if it was through GrubHub and if it was for the correct location, so I explained that I ordered through their website and put the pickup location in the comments as instructed. I still got my food, just had to wait a little longer than expected. I ordered a spicy furikake salmon bowl. For some reason, Lei's is perpetually out of salmon, so I got ahi tuna instead. This was a problem at other locations too. You'd think salmon would be easier to get in Alaska. The fish wasn't as fresh as it was in the past. The portion size seemed a little smaller, but it's still enough for a satisfying meal. I like the spicy mayo sauce and the furikake seasoning. I hope this was just an off day and they can figure out whatever issues they may have with online ordering. I'd recommend ordering inside if you come by here.

Menus at bubble tea shops can be overwhelming with all the choices, but here it's well-organized: photos and descriptions of the drinks with numbers for easy ordering. Staff are very welcoming and can help you decide what to order if you need recommendations. I had the lychee Jazzy Mist with lychee jelly. I went with 75% sweetness since that's what is recommended. It ended up being too a little sweet for my liking, so I would just order a lower sweetness level next time. Despite that I did enjoy the flavor and the texture of the jelly. Taiyaki is a delicious Japanese street food. A fish shaped pastry stuffed with filling like read…read morebean paste & custard. In the warmer months the taiyaki are also stuffed with soft serve ice cream. This street food has become popular in the USA with dedicated taiyaki ice cream spots popping up, and we finally have a shop in Alaska that serves this delectable treat. Softer opened at the end of December in the Diamond center food court. I went to check them out in February, and the taiyaki were fresh, crispy, and had a decent amount of filling. Now the taiyaki wasn't the same consistency as the ones I had in Japan, but it's not really fair to compare things in Alaska to their country of origin. The texture wasn't 100% correct, but it was pretty nicely crispy, and not overly chewy. I had heard from a few other people that when they went the texture wasn't correct & too chewy so consistency may be a bit of an issue, but they are a new business to that can be rectified. The soft serve ice cream was also very good. I ordered 2 "upside down" Taiyaki ice creams which comes with choice of 2 toppings. You can just order a Taiyaki filled with ice cream which doesn't come on a cup, or the Taiyaki pastry on its own without ice cream. If you're not feeling the Taiyaki you can also just get the soft serve ice cream, a milkshake, or a snow bowl (this looks like a variation of bingsu). I ordered chocolate soft serve with a Nutella filled Taiyaki topped with sprinkles, and a matcha/chocolate swirl soft serve with an ube filled Taiyaki topped with Oreo & graham cracker crumbs. The portion size on the soft serve was good for the price ($7). The chocolate ice cream was standard chocolate soft serve, but I really liked the Nutella taiyaki. The matcha ice cream actually had a strong, and not overly artificial matcha tea flavor. Next time I won't get it swirled with chocolate as the chocolate overpowered the matcha. I don't know if I'd get the ube filled taiyaki again. The ube filling was pretty artificial so it's not my preference. The toppings were also fairly sparse, but that doesn't really matter to me. Overall it's a great treat. Service was quick when we went. There was no line, and you just order at a kiosk & the person makes what you order. It's located right in the mall food court by the ice rink so if you're looking for ambiance it's not really going to be this place. I definitely will be back to get some Taiyaki ice cream again, and maybe try their snow bowls. Excited to have something different in Anchorage! This place is definitely a good spot next time you want some soft serve ice cream.
