The real gunsmith at Double Action was able to determine that the guy they called a gunsmith at Sportsman"s Warehouse had installed screws that were too long and caused the ejector to hang up. For example, there are poor reviews on yelp for this place because customers didn't realize they'd need to purchase ammo in order to shoot. Ammo isn't free, it never will be free, and if you rent range time anywhere you're bringing your own ammo or paying for it at the range. Thats a bad reason to leave a poor review. Renting range time also doesn't include free lessons to use a firearm. I think that's also another misconception people have when going to a range and renting a firearm - which leads to false poor reviews IMO. If you are looking for a long indoor range to fire your rifle, this place is great. I wish it was 100yards, but 50 yards is still the longest we've got in metro detroit. Ive been here twice and would definitely go back. It's cheap. The targets are free. The range is no frills. No fancy technology. It certainly gets the job done - especially in the area. But don't walk in expecting free ammo or free lessons.
