My Mercedes S550's coolant hose was cracked. They took my car immediately. I asked them to change the oil as well. While looking over the car they noticed my air filters were dirty. Most for an "engine diagnostic" (that they do for free across the street at AutoZone) and $120 for an oil change. He said the cost of oil went up. My battery needed a charge (free at AutoZone) and the oil change was $45 at the quickie lube. I'm disappointed to learn my mechanic can no longer be trusted. I'll be asking around for a new one.

On this particular visit lines were very long - almost to the street! - but it's lovebug season, so I chalked it up to that. Crew members were on the spot with directions to keep lines moving, but still friendly. I have Disney AP magnets on my car and the crew removed them carefully, and made sure I got them. How nice! Prices are very reasonable for what you get - I usually go with one of the express washes. Today I went up a level or two with a Lava Bath Express Wash, plus added Rain-x, since I hadn't been through in a while. A through wash and dry with double bond and carnauba wax, tri-foam polish, Wheel Brite, and a tireshine. Although I stuck with exterior wash only, my car still looked amazing when I was done. And no more lovebugs! I'll be back.
