Yopo's has a little bit of Elon the menu. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had the beef fajita plate, it came with rice, beans and guacamole. Everything was Great! My friend had the cheeseburger and it looked great too. I guess my favorite part of eating at Yopo's is the salsa bar. Kinda, Pitch till you Win!!! The burgers were okay. It would have been better if the bread was toasted or higher quality. The burgers were definitely on the greasy side. We got the fresh cut fries which are the house special but they were undercooked and not crispy at all. The onion rings were massive and the best tasting thing we tried. I wouldn't give this restaurant a single star if possible! To begin with service at their drive thru window was horrible! It was a Monday so it wasn't busy usually I understand when it's busy for restaurants not to focus on customer service as much for that reason. But that girl was rude and seemed like she just wanted to get rid of us. Second most important the food was horrible. Fries looked and tasted as if they were fried in old dirty oil..gross! The fried mushrooms were burnt and extremely salty. Lastly I ordered the bacon avocado burger it was the least worst so I was able to take a couple of bites to hold me through until I got to another restaurant. Friday is burger day, I have been traveling to Eagle Pass for over 5 years and have had many burgers in the area. As I was driving down main street deciding on the typical chain stuff I see a "best burgers in town" on the sign. Not a marquee or temporary sign, printed next to the name on the high sign, brave move Yopos. Bacon Avocado burger was recommend by the very friendly cashier but told me I have to come back and try the rest. Still skeptical because I have been to so many "best burgers in town" to be disappointed. Not here! 1/3 lb fresh hand pressed beef, thick bacon (and lots of it), real avocado. Get the homemade fries, just like Mom would make. All the other tables had Mexican plates and I see a lot of caldos out there. Very much coming back, strongly recomend it. read more

We had a large group of 53 people and we called ahead and ordered burgers and fries with a drink. We gave an approximate time of arrival and confirmed it the next morning before we were to arrive. When we walked in, we were greeted by the manager and he showed us that the meals were ready. Our group walked in, grabbed their meals, which were in styrofoam containers, and sat down to eat. The food was hot and very tasty and the portions were quite large. My group was very thankful for the delicious meal and the friendly service we received. The second my family and I walked in the costumer service was horrible and they had actual rotting food displayed on the counter that was covered in flys , our food took over 40 minutes which I normally would understand due to short staff but some of our food was not cooked all the way and most of our order was wrong and when I went to ask for my correct order I stood there almost 10 minutes while the workers finished their conversation and seemed bothered at the fact that I interrupted them . I would not give Yopo's a single star if my life depended on it. We happened to be in the area and noticed the parking lot packed.. Do not be fooled by the wide array of cars. You walk in and have a difficult time understanding the concept of what type of establishment you're eating in. Is it a sit down with waitress or.. what the heck is it. You unknowingly figure out that you have to get your own drink.. drink station filthy.. we pass by the salsa station.. disgusting... try to find a seat in the inside dining room.. it felt like a sauna.. no functioning AC, only a spinning injustrial fan...tables were dirty.. we figure, it's more pleasant to sit outside than in this mess. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE BATHROOM! THE FLOOR IS COVERED IN URINE AND THEIR IS A TRASHCAN FULL OF USED TOILET PAPER COVERED IN FIECES! You get outside to unkept picnic tables. You have to go stand by the unkept salsa cart and wait for them to shout your order number. Don't touch the salsas!!! Order was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes, when I arrived 25 minutes after ordering I had found that they had lost my order. Whilst waiting a extra ten minutes inside I watched either the owner or manager snack off customers plates when they came up in the window. Neither he or the two ladies in front were wearing their masks and the cooks had their masks on correctly. I really appreciated the nasty looks I was getting from the cooks while waiting too. Maybe because I WAS wearing my mask and correctly to, not with my nose hanging out. I would have given it a two and a half simply because this is one of the dirties restaurants I have ever eaten in. I made the mistake of using the restroom to wash my hands AFTER I ordered my food. Honestly if I would have done that first I would have left. I've seen cleaner bathrooms in truck stops and road side gas stations....makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is?? And the entire time I was eating the staff was sitting on the counter chatting....I guess no one knows how to clean? The food was good, and reasonably priced. Visiting Eagle Pass stopped here for brunch. We ordered chilaquiles and they took about 20 minutes to get our food out and there was only about four families in the restaurant. Then the chilaquiles were way too spicy. Good flavor but they were so spicy we couldn't eat them. They should warn people. read more
