Highland Meats is a high-quality butcher shop, something this area can really use. The shop just…read moreopened on the May 24th weekend, and so far, we've had tasty, tender steaks (T-bone, and strip loin), generous sized, delicious sausages, and juicy, fresh chicken breast. There is also a deli counter with sandwich meats and and great choice of fresh salads. A hot table was just added that includes rotisserie chicken, ribs, roasted vegetables, etc. In addition to the meats, fresh salmon and sea bass were also on offer. The couple who run the shop, Terry and Maggie, are very friendly and helpful. We look forward to trying all of the other items from this gourmet shop!

Prices were good too and they had a lot of variety of different meats (duck, elk, bison). And they even had pies (tortieres).
