I also love that the area transforms on weekends with farmers markets and special events, sometimes even closing off a main street to make it pedestrian-only, which gives it such a fun, community feel. Some of my favorite shops here are Target, West Elm, Barnes & Noble, and Lululemon. For food, you can't go wrong with Bar Taco, Alta Strada, True Food Kitchen, or grabbing a quick bowl at Playa Bowls. The mix of casual and elevated options makes it easy to find exactly what you're in the mood for. Mosaic has everything -- it's lively, modern, and thoughtfully designed. As stated by others in the reviews, beware of the lower level parking lot at Avenir Pl. I was just…read moretowed 45 minutes after parking there for a hair cut. I have parked there many times before and I'm aware of the need to press the free parking button on the meter. I did press the button and I'm sure the 2 hours appeared. But there is no way to prove this. I did talk to Harris Teeter's manager and he told me they tow regardless of the meter and recommend parking on the upper level that Harris Teeter owns as they don't tow there. Also be aware that the signage on the lower level is limited and the towing enforced signage does not even include a phone number for the towing company. I had to walk up to Harris Teeter's garage to find a sign and number. My recommendation is to stay away from the lower level parking that is shared by Harris Teeter and Avenir Pl. As even honest people can find themselves paying 200 bucks through no fault of their own, it's just not worth the risk.

It fits right in with the large amount of stores and restaurants in the area. There were several families and people there reading. It was very hot outside so it was nice to stay inside and do some reading. There is a Starbucks inside which provides great coffee drinks. I was able to get an iced coffee and sit down and read one of the new books. I spent a good amount of hours here hanging out. I love this addition to the Mosaic District. I hope this place picks up and more people come and review. I am a big fan of Barnes and Noble and will come back here again.

These grocery stores can save you money. Actually smiling typing this, as I remembered there used to be a Carvel ice cream store here in the 80's. There have been so many changes. This area is more upscale now. That being said I hope this mall will be renovated. It is showing it's age. There's also a Popeyes here, and a Arby's on the far side of the parking lot. Driving in and out of here can be an adventure. Definitely be aware as it's a densely populated area.

Yes it serves a purpose, but a lot of stores here aren't all that super. Are there other strip malls like this? Absolutely. Taco Bell does good business. As for traffic, definitely be prepared for defensive driving. A lot of parking spot cutting seems to be a trend. Also I don't like leaving 236 from here, as the congestion and lights set up isn't helpful with moving vehicles. I wish the development could offer more. Yes there's a few restaurants and a laundromat. For me that means don't need to go here. Maybe others view it more favorably.
