They don't do custom exhaust anymore. Also they don't add anything that will modify your exhaust

The exhaust pipe and muffler on my 25 year-old Toyota Celica were completely disconnected due to rust. I called TP on a recommendation from Midas to ask for an estimate, and was told that they will only provide an estimate after looking at the vehicle. Reluctantly, I brought my car in for them to look at. I knew that I was in position to be taken advantage of, so I braced myself for the worst. Amazingly, they just removed the bad parts of the pipes and welded a new pipe in place, connecting the exhaust pipe directly to my existing muffler. I won't say what they charged me, because it was so little that if I had heard the cost as an estimate, I wouldn't have believed it was true. And they changed the car's oil for me, as well. The car's exhaust is now even quieter than when I first had the entire exhaust system replaced, which is something I cannot explain. This will be my go-to shop for exhaust work from now on. Have my old 96 Mazda truck that started to sound LOUD. This place was recommended by my mechanic. He said they had what was needed to repair old exhaust systems on hand. He was right. At the beginning of my trip from Maine through Buffalo and onto Canada, my Subaru's exhaust began making lots of scary noise. I drove into Utica and pulled into the first shop I saw. Fortunately, it was T P. They immediately lifted my car, replaced some rusted clamps and such, then sent me on my way with good wishes. I could not have been a cheaper experience. After a 100 mile drive, my the pipe on my muffler dropped a mile from my destination. I needed to drive home the next evening. They got me in first thing in the morning and the repair was complete before noon. They never tried the "you have to replace the whole thing" line, which isn't uncommon with less-than-honest shops. Family owned and operated, they're always busy but they get you in and out as fast as possible. Cheapest oil change around AND they carry special Honda oil. The owner is always polite and professional, as are the guys in the garage. Seats are comfortable if you have to wait, free WiFi. They don't give you any bullshit like the guys at Carbone Honda do. I've been going to TP since I had my first hooptie in high school, came here for brakes. Now I have a big girl car and I come here to get my oil changed. Our tailpipe began making noises as we stopped for the night in Utica, en route from Chicago to Cape Cod. I brought out car in on Sat morning, fearing the worst (a long delay through the weekend). From Holland patent I've been going to TP for over 7 years best ever customer experience ever they get your car in and look at the issue gives you the estimate and take care of it very timely manner and the best part if the mechanic breaks something during the repair they dont charge you they take the loss unlike other shops in our area they charge you the customer. I've gotten alignment, suspension, balancing, mufflers at TP for many years if you count when I drove my dad's cars down there. The exhaust system they did lasted a long time, the suspension work fixed uneven and costly tire wear. The waiting area is a little cramped and sometimes it takes a lot of questions to get info out of the guys behind the counter because they want to just get it done, but the work is good, the prices fair and the techs honest. read more

I went there with a tire that was leaking air. They replaced my tire valve stem for no charge. I trust them more than I trust the dealership who is always trying to rip me off. They are honest and only fix what needs fixing. I highly recommend them. read more

Went here to get a valve stem replaced. They quoted me $40 more than pep boys but for some reason i gave in and had them fix it. they put the tire back on and my spare back in my trunk, however, my low tire pressure warning remained on. when i checked my tires i found that they had not inflated the tire to the proper pressure, well below in fact. I was not impressed and will not be going here again. read more
