I was worried I stepped into a lemon. Mike's made sure the car was safe and mechanically sound. They gave me the best price by looking at all options. They serviced some items for free because they worked on the car previously and obviously care about people and reputation. I can't attest to long term reliability as I have not had the right data to accurately determine. Honestly, the car I bought was for my son and an "old starter car". But they were kind, low on Cost, and accurate in their diagnosis of the problems. I was very appreciative of their customer service and mechanical service. Hats off to the person answering phones and helping with pricing. She was just as important as the solid mechanical work. She looked at pricing, conferred with the mechanic and maintained great communication.

This appointment was made at the recommendation of another Outstanding garage. The garage that did the recommendation had completed ALL work and had inspected the car. The ONLY thing that the car was in need of was an alignment. TWO DAYS LATER, I OPENED UP MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT TO SEE A $462 charge! I contact my son-in-law he tells me that they told him he needed two rear tires. Their argument is, they said my son-in-law says he needed two tires and an alignment! This is nonsense! What garage takes two PERFECTLY GOOD TIRES off of a car and replaces them? Oh, and for the record, these tires were just bought last February. They were less than a year old. When i picked it up they gave me the oil to put in instead of them checking for leaks themselves. As soon as I put the rear-end in the car the brand new pinion was leaking. Gave Phil a call (after numerous avoidance) and he said just drive it and it will seal over time. Well the leak became worse so I stopped in the shop a few times and of course Phil was no where to be found. The guy at the counter made a copy of my bill and left it on Phils desk and Phil was supposed to call me back. Haven't heard a word and probably never will. Unlike many of the local auto service shops that make you wait forever and attempt to seduce you with free coffee, these guys get right down to business. Best of all, they're honest. I walked in on a busy Monday morning and asked to have my tires looked at, since they were at least five years old. The owner, Russ, was fabulous. He walked me out to my vehicle to show me that (huzzah!) my tires were only half-worn and didn't need replacing yet. (Had I strolled into another local tire place, I probably would have gotten the old, "Oh wow. You've been driving on these for how long? They must be changed immediately!"-routine.) But not Russ and his crew. The one suggestion the owner made was a tire rotation, which I took him up on. Service was speedy and the staff was very customer-friendly.
