After being diagnosed with Rectal cancer, Dr Nasseri created a playbook for me ( I will be using sports reference due to my history playing college football) Dr Nasseri set me up with the best Oncologist coaches for me, unfortunately the radiation and the chemo were not strong enough to kill my cancer, the offensive plays did not work. Like a championship coach, Dr Nasseri had another play in mind. Dr Nasseri was very honest with me by telling me that surgery would be needed to remove my colon and I was going to have Ostomy surgery which will resulted in a lifetime stoma but the cancer will be gone. Dr. Nasseri performed my pilonidal surgery and I'm really grateful I chose him. From the initial consultation through the follow-ups, he guided me through the entire process and made sure I understood what to expect every step of the way. He's been treating me for a couple conditions that were debilitating my daily daily life towards the end. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Nasseri. There were 2 specific issues that infuriated me with this man. 1st problem - I came in for a procedure in which I had to pull my pants down and Dr. Nasseri had to go through a procedure from my behind. This is normal, of course. What really pissed me off is after the procedure was over, and my bottoms were still down and I was nude, Dr. Nasseri came to the front side of me for no reason whatsoever. He came to talk to me, but he was talking to me from behind me the whole time, and then he comes to the front side of me to talk to me while my bottoms were down. This really upset me, because I don't want him sneaking a peak of me, and he absolutely did not have to. 2nd problem - they told me that my insurance will cover everything except the small copay. When I got the bill a month or two later, the bill was for thousands of dollars. I called them about it, and they told me that I had to call their billing office in New York. I called probably 10 times over a 5 month period, and finally I was able to get a hold of them. Turns out he called the procedure something completely different than he was supposed to ( I know this because it was not the first time I've had this procedure, and he called it something else this time). Much arguing later, I was able to get the thousands of dollars dropped, and I did only have to pay the copay, but I had to go through hell and immense stress to get the thousands of dollars dropped. My suspicion, and this is complete speculation, is that he does it on purpose to try to get away with it if he can, and then they try to make it as hard as possible for you to drop the charges. Of course, that's just speculation. My opinion of this doctor is he is a horrible person, dishonest, and he snuck a peak from my front side like a true scumbag would do. I was diagnosed with aggressive rectal cancer in 2021 and after extensive research, I chose Dr. Nasseri as my surgeon. The glowing 5-star reviews for Dr. Nasseri on Yelp initially impressed me, but the service quality I received from my very first visit exceeded my expectations and continued throughout my entire experience. Because of my complicated situation, Dr. Nasseri suggested I receive chemo and radiation therapies before surgery for the best chance of success. He picked the rest of the interdisciplinary team for me, including an oncologist, radiologist, and urologist, and my surgery was successfully performed in September 2022. First, let me start by saying that Dr. Nasseri is an amazing doctor! I don't usually give reviews but he truly deserves it. The office is super clean, and the staff is also really nice. I was in a lot of pain from my pilonidal cyst and I needed to have it drained as soon as possible. Luckily Dr. Nasseri understood my situation and made room for me that same morning. He walked me step by step through the process of having my cyst drained and the surgery that would come soon after to have it completely removed. He made sure I clearly understood everything that he was going to do to me before he did it. There were never any surprises. This was my first surgery and I was completely terrified, but he reassured me that I had nothing to worry about. He was right! The surgery took an hour and I was on the road to my recovery process. Oh! also, if you don't want a crazy scar, be sure to go to him!! I felt so lucky because he used a specific technique that made sure you could not see my scar. I know this because I let his interns be apart of one of my follow up visits, and they were amazed at how there was no scar, because of the practice that he did. Simply put, Dr. Nasseri is one of the best physicians I have ever met or been treated by. I wanted to hold off writing this review until I was no longer under his care, so that I could give a complete picture of the whole process from beginning to end. I am grateful to him for handling my case over the course of about a year and a half, with great care, expertise and compassion. Initially concerned that Dr. Nasseri was out of network and that his prices were out of my range, his staff member, Mayra, conveyed that Dr. Nasseri would be willing to negotiate and honor my in-network prices. This kindness allowed me to see him and focus on healing, without the added obstacle of cost. Throughout the whole process of two surgeries and about 16 months of minor in-office procedures, the office staff was always friendly and professional. I am grateful to them as well as Dr. Nasseri for making this experience not only tolerable, but occasionally enjoyable as we all got to know each other. Unfortunately, my case was more complex than could be handled with a single surgery, and Dr. Nasseri chose to take a slower, but more sure approach to ensure that my condition would not return. I continued to see him for monthly check-ups and minor office procedures to adjust the medical devices that were in place. This longer process required patience on my part, but it was well worth the wait. A second surgery was undertaken after a few months, to further direct the body's healing processes. This slow and deliberate approach was ultimately successful. About a year and a half after the initial surgery, the process was done. At this point now, a couple of months after having received my last checkup and perfect bill of health from Dr. Nasseri, I still have not experienced any relapses or diminishment of my health. I would consider this a tremendous success. Dr. Nasseri was always kind and compassionate, with the bedside manner of a charming and entertaining friend. He always alerted me when something uncomfortable would be undertaken, giving me sufficient warning to prepare myself, and enough information to understand what he was doing.
