We got on a call and discussed our plans for dinner. She provided options for vegetarians and diary/oat allergies and we created a menu together. On our wedding day, Dawn and her husband dropped off of the food at the Airbnb and placed it in the oven to keep it warm as we were heading down from Yosemite. We were told that they knew the wedding party had reserved the bar and would be arriving at some point in the evening. Now I can understand that neither the server nor the bartender made the reservation or knew exactly when the bar would have to be closed down. However, they should have told us that the bar would be closing, and given us the opportunity to go somewhere else. They also should have refunded our drinks, because it was their fault not to have warned us beforehand. This is simply an example of poor management.
