Horrible horrible experience and the worst part is the nail salon owner is blaming me for the problem:( I would not trust this place, they wasted my time, money and effort. I went for a IV gell mani and pedi. I usually eed about 2 hours, however the salon was clearly overbooked. Owner Mia was overwhelmed and she did a half ass job on my nails, along with NO PEDICURE. Just charged me for eemoving the gel($25) Additionally, She moved the appointment TWICE. First my appointment was for the day before, she moved it to the next morning at 10am. She calls me 9:45 am the DAY OF APPOINTMENT, to reschedule. I agreed but let her know the earliest I could be there is 1, I showed up 12:45. The minute a white woman walked in, it was over, she had 3 people on her and I was sitting alone at my pedi chair for 30 minutes. WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT unless until the management changes. Recently, the service here is dismal. I have been going to this nail place for a while and really enjoyed it, the service was wonderful and workers were nice and then management changed. Now it's all about her selfishly making money and not caring as to how she treats employees. I have gone twice, and both times though I had an appointment I still found myself waiting for 30 mins. What is the point of making an appointment, if you are not going to honor the allotted time. Let the person know over the phone that they you are unable to perform the said service. Then the owner of the salon, sitting there watches me walk out but does not apologize or even ask my reason for leaving. When I asked who the owner is, I was told she is not in today. Now I am not sure if I heard the right name but if it is the Mia, I spoke to then I was lied to. I know that Mia is always there and I was once informed by one of the employees that she is the new manager. So once again, not sure if I am being lied to. This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to. Gel manicure is $35.00 peeled and lifted within 4 days. Maybe they know how bad they are because they put on their card that they would repair nails that chip within 3 days. The girl who did my nails was very sweet. The "owner" was awful. I had received 2 gift cards and she would not honor both. She really gave me a hard time. So not only are they not customer friendly. They are rude and do an awful job. Place has a fresh coat of white paint and black and white decor and colors of workers outfits along with gray aprons that have the name Chliney embroidered on them. They ask if you wish to pay before working on your nails. They have seats with fans to dry the nails and chairs with whirlpool for Pedicures. People wear mask and space out customers to 3 at a time. A local place on Jerusalem Avenue near a dry cleaner and across the street from Best Market. (see pix) The procedure, Call make apt, Park, stop in front let them know you are there. They call your cell or come and wave you in. $14.00 dollars for manicure and 18.00 for Pedi. As a member you get 5% off so it is a nice idea to sign up. read more

Sophia did a very thorough job with my manicure. The service included removing powder SNS nails and a color gel manicure- the whole process took about 2 hours and I loved how my nails turned out. The salon is very clean, seems like recently renovated and they have laminate screens up at the manicure stations as well as employees checking temperature when you enter and everyone wearing masks. Only complaint- credit card machine was taking way too long, also I personally don't prefer having to get up and walk to the bathroom to wash my hands during the manicure, although I understand some salons do it this way. I will for sure be back in the future because I did not feel rushed and they took their time to provide a very decent manicure service. read more

Update: In response to the lies below.. Sophia never told me the price to fix my nails. I had two nails to be fixed she chose to fix a third...how does 3 nails evenly equate to $10? It doesn't. You just decided to make your own price up, that's ok. Regardless, when I was leaving the first time after 3 hours I told the boy at the register I wanted to pay for my nails completely and would pay for my toes when I returned. Came here twice, first time i did dip powder and pedicure which was great, took me as a walk in and service was clean precise and quick. Second time, my experience was not good at all. My appointment was for dip powder with the spa pedicure. Spa pedicure was ok, the same person did my dip powder and it was awful. I was there for 3 hours total, and she was just so sloppy, it took more time to correct the mistakes she was making than it was to actually do my nails right the first time. Initially, she cut them in a coffin style, even tho i showed her a picture with square nails and rounded edge that were slightly tapered. I do not know if she was rushing or just completely careless. She made them way too thick which i pointed out and she had to file down for 30 min. The thickness of it even made the nail color not sheer. I have no intention of going back as i wanted to GTFO of there so badly so I did not even bother to complain. Never going back. read more

My mother and I are first time customers. We'd purchased Groupons for basic manicures and these were the best manicures we've ever received. Upon entering, the salon is clean, bright and modern. It was incredibly quiet, with lovely classic jazz music playing. We were greeted warmly, not rushed when choosing polish. Temperatures taken, hand sanitizer, and escorted to clean, comfortable chairs with partitions separating client from manicurist. I received Tobey's services, and my mother had Sophia. Both did an excellent job. They worked meticulously, paying attention to every detail. They asked us our preferences for nail shape and length. They took their time, and did such thorough work (I want to say lovingly). There are salons that provide a cheaper feeling experience, whereas this one felt so sophisticated and pampering (and that's just for the basic). Thank you for such a nice experience. My favorite nail salon! Everyone here is friendly and they know what they're doing! I've only done gel/powder once or twice bc I prefer to get regular manicures but I've been happy with the results every time no matter which type of mani I chose. The color selection is good, and all the polishes are quality (you know how some places have their old scuzzy polishes out? not this place). The spa pedicures are to die for. I almost always get the green tea one, it comes with 15 minutes of massage and hot stones. I always leave feeling relaxed and happy with the way my nails look. They're also the only people I trust with my eyebrows. I had a bad experience years ago at a salon that shall not be named, but here, I always leave with perfect brows. Everything is always clean and sanitized. As for Covid precautions: they limit the amount customers in the salon, check temps, wear masks, have dividers between nail technicians and customers during manicures, and have movable dividers between pedicure chairs. purchased a Groupon for a salon manicure and pedicure and made the appointment online through Groupon as suggested and then I also went on this salons website and made a non-Groupon pedicure appointment for my daughter to go with me at the same time... They canceled the Groupon appointment but kept the non-Groupon appointment... I feel that is terrible customer service! And the only reason that the Groupon appointment was canceled was because they don't get the same amount of money from it! Don't owe us a Groupon's if you don't want to honor them!!! This nail salon is AMAZING. I needed to find a new one because I wasn't happy anymore and was recommended by a close family friend. I was NOT disappointed. They are so SO clean and organized. They take such good care and time to make sure you walk out happy. I used to hate sitting in the chair for so long because the results would always be upsetting but now I don't mind sitting there because I won't have to go back for another 3 weeks. I was really impressed with their techniques and how well my nail polish lasted. I was a dedicated customer for 2 years but after today I will be going elsewhere. I spent over $200 for my wedding nails. My nail broke on my honeymoon (mind you I have never had a problem with nail breakage prior). I was not upset over it breaking ..things happen but when I called the day I got back Mia told me she didn't have time. I explained it was a very deep break and I could lose my actual nail if it's not fixed. She said I could see another tech which I then asked if they would be able to handle it. She assured me it wouldn't be an issue. (They only have 1 good mail tech.) I came in and surprise the nail tech botched my broken nail. I brought it to Mia's attention and she brushed it off and told me to come back tomorrow. Completely unacceptable for a loyal customer. They have not only lost my business but my mother's as well. Expect to wait a minimum of 30 minutes with your appointment time. Their time management is horrendous. Their online system doesn't work and they don't care. I once waited over 45 mins with an appointment. Didn't complain then but this was the absolute last straw. read more

Just got my nails done here for the first time yesterday. It was such a good experience! The place was SO clean, I was so impressed. New foils for soaking off your powder gel (believe it or not, the place I used to go to would reuse them... ew...), plastic covers for the pedicure "tub," disposable nail files and buffers - they even used disposable foot file stickers! Comfortable pedicure and manicure chairs and relaxing spa music. It was a really relaxing atmosphere. I had Sophia and she truly gave me the best manicure/pedicure I've had in years. This place is really lovely. They opened about nine months ago and have taken serious Covid precautions. Staff wears masks and is careful not to touch everything with their gloves, hand sanitizer and temperature checks at the door, and they take your name and number. They are appointment only but they can do same-day if you call early, there's never more than two or three customers at a time, the place is really clean, bright, smells good, they have a decent nail polish selection. The regular mani pedi includes paraffin wrap for your feet, green tea clay on your legs, and a hot lotion wrap on your hands while they do your manicure, amongst other cool little features. Sophia did my nails and was really precise, constantly checking that my nail shape and length matched the rest of my nails, I asked her to make my short nails in a coffin shape and was ready to hear something like "oh I can't it's too short" but she was able to do it just fine, no fuss. My Mani and pedi both look amazing, while my legs feet hands feel incredibly soft even days later. Sophia noticed the nail polish was leaving streaks so she did extra coats without me asking her. She gave me an awesome massage while my nails were drying. Tobey worked on my mom's pedicure and my mom almost fell asleep during the massage she gave. My mom's nails are also awesome, my mom brought her own halal porous nail polish to put and they had no problem putting it on for her. Since we were first timers we each got a $5 gift card end of our visit. Mom and I then made a shared membership where we could gain points and get services for free. Sophia informed us of reduced cost birthday services! Ive seen other reviews mentioning the perks of a membership here. They are very talented, thoughtful, precise, and polite. They have a good flow and organization about themselves. I love the work theyve done and the features of the services themselves.
