Made an appointment for 11am today to try the gel powder nail polish. I was pleased to see someone waiting for me at an empty nail station when I walked in. Usually I get a regular plain manicure, but I wanted to try the new gel powder technique. I was extremely apprehensive about getting the gel powder done because I read that it can ruin your nails and be unsanitary. However, after meticulously watching the gel powder process I decided it isn't too bad; I think my nails will survive it. My gel powder nails came out great! I love how they look and feel. It took 40 minutes exactly and was $35 total. The man painting my nails gave me a brief neck massage (the lack of neck massage is something I've previously complained about for this salon). Been here twice as it's near my new apartment. First time I got a powder get manicure that chipped the very next morning, less than 12 hours later, as I was putting on panty hose. During that day - 3 more chipped. By the time I could get back to the salon to have them fixed 5 nails had chipped and broken. Instead of redoing them, they just put on more coats of powder gel which did not look good but I had no time to try to train to with them. They were clearly dead set on taking shortcuts instead of doing the job right. I decided to give them a second chance today as I needed a pedicure in a pinch. Decided to opt for callus remover and the technician talked me into a paraffin heel treatment too. Fine. Said it came with a massage. Cool. She proceeded to rub her knuckles against my legs for a few minutes. It hurt. I asked her to stop. She barely touched my foot and did the same to the other leg. Again. I asked her to stop. Not a great massage. But whatever. My loss. I was really looking for the pedicure anyway. I like to zone out at the salon. Sit, close my eyes and just zen out. Hard to do with all the employees yelling at each other from across the room. When she finished I look at my toes. They were painted. The whole thing. Nails and skin and all. Annoyed is an understatement. This will be the last shot I give this salon. Lesson learned. read more

This is the worst pedicure I've ever gotten! I do not understand how this place has such good reviews. I paid for a regular pedicure with callus removal. I still have plenty of calluses and the nail polish is a mess! There are bubbles, dents, and one toe even has a pile of polish built up and lumpy. I pulled aside my nail technician and pointed out the issues with the polish. She pulled out the same polish and just wanted to add on top of what's already there. That would only make it even worse! I got the spa pedicure with the 20 minute foot massage so I could relax after a long day of working and although the massage was great I couldn't relax because the employees were constantly talking to each other. I come here to decompress and get a little R&R. Other than the constant talking between the employees, everything else was great. What was once, I believe a Game Stop where I spent many a cold night with my boys on line for midnight pre releases, is now a sleek, creme colored, marble studded salon. While the slightly steep mani/pedi price of 24.00 is softened by the 20% off grand opening special, only time will tell if there is room for yet another nail salon. Looking around I realize that I can't think of one that is nearby and I am sure the over flow of shoppers that pour out of Century 21 next door and day time workers in the adjoining office building might just maintain a steady customer supply. My favorite nail salon in the area! I have gone here 20+ times at this point and really have never had a poor experience. Always clean- which is super important! They always use new lining for pedies, open a new package of tools, and change the paper on the pumice bar. On weekdays you can walk in but beware friday night/saturdays can get crazy busy (i've had to wait up to 30min WITH an appointment on a friday). Other days, I walk in and I am helped right away. Everyone is nice and pleasant and I have worked with various manicurists who all did great work. The color gel mani is a tiny bit expensive at $30 (compared to many other places that it is $25) but i find it is always done smoothly and lasts longer when compared to others which have lumpy polish and eventually chip (even though gel shouldn't!). For that I find the extra few bucks are worth it. read more

Ahhh! I found this place in yelp and I'm so glad I did. They introduced me to this new dip powder by sns because I been using gel glue and I am allergic to acrylic. People were friendly and the place is neat and tidy. One of my pet peeve is when a nail salon does not wipe down their station and you just see mountains of nail powder. Anyways, I didn't ask the guys name who did my nails but he took his time and he didn't cut me with the filing (which always happens) and the Korean Chinese lady is really good with massage ! This Salon is clean, organized and very professional. Tom and May were amazing! I loved my pedicure and my manicure! The ambiance of the salón is a quiet one to respect the client's experience. Do not expect the employees to engage you in conversation, they are professional and constantly working. However if you initiate conversation the employees will gladly respond and engage with you. Yes i had gone to another salon to have coffin tips put on but it was an epic fail so i opted for Cinderella Nails. Walked in and was quickly greeted and seated. They werent busy at the time and i had no appt. They removed the tips i had just gotten and a technician went to work on my nails. I showed her a pic of what i wanted but she did it her own way which was ok but towards the end she called me picky and then got annoyed when i critiqued her version of the design i showed her to which i replied if im paying for the service i have a right to be picky! After being a loyal customer for years, never going back to have anything fixed even though there were a few times I was rushed out the door at closing which led to smudged pedicures. I went in on Sunday and got my usual powder gel manicure. By Tuesday, one whole nail had chipped and about 5 more were lifting at the cuticles and my hair was getting caught in my nails. I was working Wednesday through Friday so on Saturday I go in to get this corrected. Tom approaches me and says he will fix the finger, without even asking me what was going on. I explain to him it's 7 fingers not 1. He looks incredulous and examines my fingers and says very rudely, what color was it? He then proceeds to file off the lifted parts and wants to patch up my nails. I told him that this wasn't acceptable since it's 7 out of 10 fingers and I would like him to remove and reapply because obviously something happened with the original application. He completely refused and said he would have to charge me 1/2 price and questioned why I didn't come in earlier? I guess he doesn't realize that people have jobs! He also told me it must of been how I "used my hands". I was quite speechless because I've been going there for years and have never had any issues, never thought it would be an issue to go in this one time to have my nails fixed. I told Tom that either he removes and reapplies or I will have to take my business and referrals elsewhere and he said no. So I thanked him and left. My sister and I decided to stop here on our way to another nail salon because we saw the 20% off Grand Opening sign, and let me tell you we were not disappointed! This establishment was neat, clean, and the staff were really nice and patient. Anita my nail tech in particular was extremely helpful and patient with helping my sister and I choose what color gel we wanted and even took the time to let us try out some colors before making a final choice. What really caught my attention were the foot tub liners. I've gone to some nail salons that don't use these and I'm always iffy about whether or not to stay, so suspect. Foot tub liners should be mandatory at all places. So anyway, once I saw these at Cinderella, I was singing the praises. It's just really sanitary and necessary. Anita also assured me that no supplies are used on customers without first being thoroughly sanitized. More sighs of relief. During our manicures and pedicures we were given massages via their awesome massage chairs as well as from our nail techs. Anita really took her time with my gel manicure and did a fantastic job. Water, candy, and chocolates are readily available too. There are also several large screen TV's on the walls to keep you entertained. First of all, everyone knows that all payments are made BEFORE polish is applied to the nails. Therefore, I paid for the flip flops long before I exited the shop. Secondly, if I didn't pay then it would be your error so do not offend me by trying to shake me down for $2 as I am leaving. I am sick of discrimination in these nail salons. So today, I had to bring one of my individuals for a manicure, and I asked the lady. Her response was we are too busy we don't have time to do their nails. There was two open nail techs available. Though they do an excellent job on nails, the staff is rather unprofessional. I've been going here for months now and when I went for my scheduled appointment on a weekend morning, I was asked to wait while one of the nail techs finished up as the girl I usually go to was sick. I ended up waiting over an hour. When I mentioned this to the techs, they claimed I should have made an appointment. This was even more shocking considering some of the staff knew my name and were aware that I frequent this location. On top of that, the tech who did my gel used a different color from the one I requested and when I asked her about it, she told me after the fact that they'd run out of the color I wanted. I politely mentioned that I didn't want this color and would chose again to which she said she would have to charge me twice for having to take off the one layer of gel she just placed. But after my friend called me today, I can't keep silent anymore. I used to be a customer at this nail salon. At first it was okay, but then I started to notice a big problem. There is a girl named JESSICA. She did my nails a few times. Every time she did my nails, she always rushed and also talked with a guy next to her in their language. I don't know what they were talking about. This is not only annoying as hell, but she did crappy work because she wasn't paying attention! My manicure would start chipping off after just a day or 2. I told her about this one time, and she just smiled and laughed. What kind of customer service is that??? I had even recommended my friend to get her nails done here at the beginning, and she ended up having the same issues. Very disappointing, $30 for unsatisfactory work! A truly beautiful salon! Friendly staff! Lots and lots of colors to pick from!! This is one of the few places that has the gel colors to match the polish by the same company- I like coordinated nails and toes! While the place may look nice - they do not display price. Pedicure was great - but polish is wearing thin in 2 days on tips of toes. Manicure - after 2 days - their polish is peeling from the sides of my nails. Chipping I expect with regular polish - but not peeling from the edge. While there another customer returned to give a tip - needless to say the entire staff made fun of her before and after she left. Completely RUDE!!! Manager Laughed when I told her they owed that person an apology. I did call to tell them about manicure not lasting 2 days and about how badly they treated the other customer. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. These people are horrible. I work with a group home for individuals with Down Syndrome who LOVE going to get their nails done. We use the shops in the plaza so we thought this location would be convenient however the rudeness of the staff and mistreatment of the clients I work with is disgusting. They make them sit and wait while other walk-ins are taken in first over and over again. They will even stop half way through their pedicures to take a different walk in and leave my client sitting their. (And believe me the mistreatment is NOT lost on these individuals - they are just as upset by this as I am). On a side note - when they first opened I went there for my own manicure and experienced a very unwelcome "massage" by their very creepy and handsy manager/owner. Yes, the place is nice but staff is unprofessional. I had to explain to the nail tech how to do my pedicure. And he got mad when I did and walked away. Then he did my fill in which was good until he started polishing my nails. He kept putting too much polish and my nails were all lumpy. He kept getting frustrated and doing it wrong. He had to do it three times until someone else took over and then it still didn't come out nice. I was there for three hours because my nails wouldn't dry and they kept doing them over and over. I couldn't wait anymore. I had to leave. Oh and I accidentally left my keys by the nail polish station. One of the employees found them and gave me a dirty look When I said they were mine. She threw them at the table where I was getting my nails done as if they were a piece of trash. Terrible! The only reason I tried them was because I had heard good things and my regular place was closed for the holiday. Needless to say, I will never go back! read more
