They have you fill out a "preferences" questionnaire that asks if you prefer talking, no talking or talking only if it's self initiated - which is a nice touch because sometimes you just don't have the capacity or desire to talk. My masseuse was good. I got a basic massage and the scalp oil treatment as an add-on. The massage was good but the scalp massage seemed a little short but I would get it again. The facility was clean, the only issue was the water pressure in the bathroom. The faucet was a tiny stream and the toilet didn't flush after several tries. I let them know and they said it was an issue with the entire LBX property. I didn't use the shower. Hopefully will be fixed soon. The price was good comparatively speaking. Overall, I will be going back!

I asked for firm pressure but got nothing of the sort. I feel like my therapist was just touching me in one spot for a prolonged period of time. No actual massaging involved. I actually got so bored during my massage and was left speechless. I am typically one to speak up during services but what was I going to say? Hey can you give me an actual massage? So awkward. I came in with my mom who also had a less than stellar experience but I can't really talk for her. I also will say that we did leave a $20 tip because I'm not a heartless person but that's the first and last time I'm spending my money there and would advise folks to think twice as well. :(

I arrived 4-5 minutes early for my appt and the therapist took me to the room at the exact time my appt was set to start and then did not return to begin the massage until 6-7 minutes later. The therapist starts the massage over the cover, but when she pulls the cover back she realizes she forgot her lotion. She went to retrieve it and quickly returned, but I unfortunately did not like her technique. She used her arm and elbow as her main technique of giving the massage and I prefer hands with the arm/elbow more so as a supplement, not the other way around. In addition to not enjoying the massage, people were speaking loudly right outside the door and heating up smelly food. I was in the first room right across from the break room. I ended the service early because it was not enjoyable or relaxing. When I went to pay I was charged for 30 minutes, which was right where I ended the service, but I was not offered a discount even after sharing that I didn't like the service and explained the reasons why.

I've been a montly client for a few months now and I have mixed emotions…read more This is a great location because it's attached to a mall so parking is very easy. When you first get there, they take photos of your face which is very nice to see your progress. After picture taking, they take you to the locker room to change and you have the choice to go to the orange lounge or the sauna. If you go to the sauna, they provide disposable underwear/bralette and a body scrub. They also have two private showers for you to use after the sauna. The orange lounge has hot tea, water, cookies, and apples. Your aesthetician will call you when it's time for your service. If youre plus size, be prepared for the robe and disposable underwear/bralette (used for the sauna) to not properly fit. It's a little confusing why a business such as this wasnt accommodating. Ive asked for a larger robe and underwear/bralette but they were not able to provide it at different occasions. The first time I voiced my concerns to the nurse, she laughed at my face. She mentioned my concerns to one of the front desk ladies and she also laughed in my face. When you're paying hundreds of dollars for services, you would expect a little more respect but I was not granted the courtesy. I voiced my concerns recently and actually got to speak to the manager. She was apologetic, which I appreciated, but it felt like empty words. Customer service in general is also very difficult. You have to book your next appointment months in advance. They confirm your appointment the week of your appointment via text, but theyre often trying to re-schedule your appointment either earlier or later than what is scheduled. Im not sure why they cant just stick to the schedule. It's also very hard to actually get someone on the phone. To be clear - I have enjoyed the actual services Ive received. The aestheticians and nurse Kate have been very nice. I did see results and a difference within a few months, but I believe I'll be able to achieve the same results at other medspas.
